Feng Jiao looked around again, this time with a purpose in mind.
"Give me a second. I'll take a picture." Feng Jiao pulled out her phone and began pulling the books together. She squatted on the ground in a rather unstable position as she reached for the books.
Gao Longwei, very thoughtfully, came behind her and held her back in place. Feng Jiao felt his warm palms on her back and suddenly felt as if her brain was shutting down. She had not been prepared for his touch, so she shrunk away for a few seconds, and then leaned back onto his palms.
She was like a little kitten testing the waters with her paw before she felt safe diving in.
Feng Jiao took a deep breath in to calm herself down and stop thinking about the palms on her back. She looked shaky, but it wasn't very bad. It was just his hands.
'There's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong." she chanted in her head over and over again to reassure herself.
