Gao Longwei looked at the books and notebooks strewn everywhere on the floor and was speechless for a couple of seconds. All he could think of was, 'What the heck happened here?'
It was like some sort of wild beast had gotten into the house and made a mess with all of Feng Jiao's textbooks. He could not believe the state he had come back to see the house in, and instantly turned to see what Feng Jiao was doing.
She had leaped up and toward him with her eyes full of obvious joy.
For a second, Gao Longwei couldn't help but wonder if there was indeed some sort of terrifying beast in the house that was scaring Feng Jiao into being excited when she saw him. Perhaps she needed him to save her from whatever the beast was.
But Feng Jiao did need his help
Just not with beast killing.
