Third Person P.O.V
Violet woke up and was surprised to see that she was on her bed inside her bedroom. She felt confused and still a bit dazed by what happened yesterday while playing outside.
Throwing the comforter to the side. She ran downstairs and as she turned and made her way towards the doors leading outside, she bumped into someone.
"Whoa! Hold on, princess! Where are you off to so early in the morning?" Tristan asked as he picked up Violet in his arms.
"I want to go outside and play.", she explained.
"But you can't." Tristan held her tightly and didn't let her go as he swayed her from right to left like a baby.
"Let me down! I want to go outside, big brother!" Violet exclaimed pushing, her big brother away, resulting in her falling on the floor with a loud thud.
Before she can run outside, Tristan blocks the door with his body. Violet kept pushing and pushing her brother aside so she could squeeze her body a little and escape outside.
"I wanna play outside! Get out of the way! Stupid brother! Stupid!! STUPID!!" Violet screamed as she threw a tantrum and kept punching her big brother's stomach.
"VIOLET!", a voice bellowed from the staircase.
Violet stopped at her tracks and looked at John who walked down the staircase and now stands in front of them looking at her sternly. The eldest brother's demeanor was menacing and firm, indicating that he was not pleased with the way Violet acted.
John looked at her baby sister who was turning red from anger and frustration. He wanted to be firm and discipline the youngest but once he saw her cheeks red, his facial features softened, and lifted her up in his arms.
"What's the matter, sweetie? Why are you bothering this idiot?" He asked her sweetly as he tucked her hair behind her ear.
"Hey! I am not an idiot!" Tristan crossed his arms and pouted at his brother's words.
Violet stuck her tongue out to Tristan and wrapped her arms around John.
"Do you wanna go outside and play?", John asked in a soft tone to which Violet smiled brightly and nodded her head.
"But you said that-", Tristan's words were cut off as John gave him a flat look. The signal meant to tell the brother to shut up.
"N-nevermind.", Tristan stuttered, taking a step back before speed-walking away from the two, a confused look in his eyes. The eldest watched his brother retreat somewhere inside the home.
Turning his attention back to Violet. "Now before we both play outside. We need to change from our pajamas and eat some breakfast first.", John stated carrying his baby sister in his arms as they both went upstairs to Violet's room.
He sat her on the bed. Walking to her closet in search for a dress. He picked the white dress matched with a pretty bonnet, Violet had gotten as a present for her birthday. Through this, Violet looked up at her big brother with a timid and confused look in her brown eyes.
"Brother.", Violet spoke softly.
"Yes, princess?" He asked helping her quickly change into the outfit he had picked. He did not have much trouble changing her clothing as he was mostly the twins' caretaker after they were born.
"You know, I had a funny dream last night."
"A dream?" John stopped midway from braiding her hair and looked at the baby sister.
"Yeah. I dreamed about a man who carried me and lay me down beside a willow tree." She continued. Her small hands twirled the frill on the hem of her dress.
John listened carefully to Violet while his hands continued to work on her braids, combing her bangs back, and placing a pretty bonnet atop her head.
"That is a very weird and dangerous dream. The man in your dream seemed like a bad man." He said calmly tying the silk of the bonnet into a neat bow which he can't seem to get right. Contemplating whether he would just take the bonnet off as it did cover the work he did to her hairstyle for the day. Taking a comb from her vanity and just got rid of the bonnet in the end.
"He wasn't dangerous! He looks scary but he seemed like a good guy." Violet said while she continued to play with the hem of her dress, looking up at her brother through the vanity mirror she sat in front of.
John's jaw clenched, his eyes focused on his work but the annoyance of how Violet was starting to get curious about HIM made the eldest snap the comb in half using his right hand while still combing her hair. He could only hum a response before hiding the comb in his pocket and carried Violet out of her room to her playground outside where she played on the swing, as her brother watched her closely.
Later that Night...
Jaime's P.O.V
This is seriously pissing me off. Why are all my brothers so careless and a bunch of idiots?!
I just found out this morning that my baby sister was almost abducted by HIM. As soon as I heard Michael tell me this, I immediately called my assistant to cancel all my other meetings and had to fly back home.
The scent of lavender, mahogany, and a hint of vanilla filled my senses as soon as I entered Big Brother's office. The familiar scent of Violet made me feel comfy and warm inside but the anger still hasn't left my system completely. John always made sure to make his office smell that way to calm himself, especially during meetings.
I sat down on the sofa and glared at John who was busy reading the newspaper.
"You're home early today. Did you finish all of your work?", brother asked not looking at what he was busy reading.
I continued to glare at him my eyes turning to gold as I feel myself getting more and more pissed at how he is so damn calm about this.
"I know what you're gonna say and I'm telling you now to shut up. She thought that it was all just a dream so there is nothing to worry about.", John calmly stated as he lay the newspaper down, then removed his glasses setting them down on his table.
I continued to glare at him, waiting for more explanations of how the hell did they not notice HIS presence. I knew that the man was kept under brother's ropes but never imagined that he would make a move.
Is it so hard to keep track of just one person and not feel a disturbance?!
I know John could feel the anger resonating from my body but looks like he did not care. Brother just resting his chin on his knuckles as he also stared at me like a complete idiot, his nonchalant attitude making me sigh deeply.
"So what are we going to do?", I asked eyeing him. He deeply sighed and now rested his back at the back of the chair, he looked at the ceiling and reached his arm out.
Dramatic asshole.
"Nothing. We won't do anything.", He finally spoke after a few seconds. Lowering his once outreached hand and pinched the bridge of his nose looking frustrated plus quite stressed.
I stared at him dumbfounded and my mouth was wide open. I was sure that if there were flies inside the room they would've entered my mouth and I would not even notice nor care with how I was shocked.
"Wai-wha-what?!" I couldn't control my anger and when John's glasses broke, then and there I knew I needed to regain control of myself.
I stood up, walked towards the window, and opened it letting fresh air enter the now tensed-up room.
I breathe in and out. In. out. After relaxing I turned to face the asshole and saw him staring at our enlarged family portrait situated atop the mantel of the fireplace in his office.
Getting no answer after a minute or two I deeply sighed. Walking back to the sofa to sit but decided against it and just stood in the middle of his office facing his desk.
"What do we need to do?", I asked.
"We do nothing. She is safe and she doesn't know."
"But she WILL!" I roared and I was instantly in my killer mode.
He didn't look at me but I can see black veins start to appear on his neck up to his arms.
"SHE WON'T!" He roared.
The surroundings began to shake and his glasses were now completely shattered. The windows also gained cracks and the drinks from his mini bar won't stop shaking. We stared at each other ready to pounce at any sudden movement. The temperature within the room was getting colder. I can already see my own breath escaping from my mouth.
I was about to make the first step but we were interrupted by a tiny voice.
"Brother."
We both looked at the door leading to John's room where Violet stood rubbing her eyes like she just woke up.
The tense and dangerous aura inflicted on the room disappeared. The windows were back to normal, no wine was shaking, and his glasses were just the way they were when I broke them. I stood straight and stared at our little angel yawning, holding her small violet teddy bear which she loved dearly.
"Wh-what's happening?", she yawned walking towards John whose face was now calm and caring.
Lying bastard.
"Nothing sweetie. Your brother Jaime and I were just talking."
He carried her in his arms like an infant.
"Are you sure? You looked mad."
Laying her head on his shoulder indicating that she's still sleepy. He rocked her back and forth like a baby and hummed a lullaby.
My eyes are now completely back to their normal hazel color. I was about to leave the room when John stopped me and handed a now sleeping Violet in my arms.
"Take her to her room. I need to relieve myself of stress.", His eyes were still pure black and his veins popping out showed that he was still a bit tense from our 'talking'.
I nodded and made my way out of the office walking straight towards Violet and Michael's bedroom. Once I opened the door, I saw Michael already asleep in front of his television, a game console in hand, and snoring lightly.
I gently laid Violet on her bed and carried Michael next to his. I covered the blanket on his shaking body and with the warmth embracing him, he responded with a sigh.
As I approached Violet I saw a picture on her nightstand. It was a picture of all of us.
John was smiling widely as he carried Violet who was bent over in his arms laughing and smiling widely at the camera, Michael was looking at Violet and also laughing while clutching his stomach, I was also there staring at the twins smiling, and Tristan being the idiot that he is, was the one taking the picture and made it look like a group selfie.
I smiled and touched the picture.
HE would also be here if HE didn't-
"Brother Jaime? Is that you?", Violet looked at me. She looked so cute wearing her white frilly dress. A dress? I sat down beside her on her bed. Brushing the hair away from her face.
"Sweetie, do you want me to give you a change of clothes?"
"Nope. I wanna wear my fwilly dress." Popping the p on her nope and cuddling her violet teddy bear closer.
I know I'm gonna regret this.
"Sweetie, how was your day yesterday?" I asked hesitantly. My question had Violet suddenly perked up and sat on her bed looking at me like she was so excited to talk about many things.
Oh boy, this is gonna be a long night.
The mental dialogue in my head made me groan as I knew her perking up meant that she would ramble on and on not getting to the point of her sentence.
Someone's P.O.V
I opened the door that led me to his place. Screams from the distance can be heard. I grinned and enjoyed the agonizing screams that resonated from within the walls.
As I entered his makeshift torture room, the girl laid her eyes on me. He was also there holding a scalpel as he stared at the girl, his back facing me.
"Help! Help me please!" She pleaded as she tried to get out of her bounds.
"Please help m-"
Her words were cut by her own gargles as he already slit her throat. The blood sprayed everywhere and the scent of metal made me growl with excitement and anticipation.
I leaned on the doorway and just watched him do his work. He looked tired but that didn't stop him from his work. His wide grin says so anyway that he enjoys what he is doing.
After cutting the body up in pieces he neatly piled them up like a pyramid and now turned to face me still grinning and covered with blood.
"Why hello there. Big brother.", he spoke turning his head to look at me. Blood splatter on his jaw that dripped down to his chin.
