Chapter 2 - The Trials for survival

Adam just had a wild, lucid dream. He watched himself die after getting hit by a pink truck, watching as his soul left his body and land in that of a child's. But the child he had landed in had died in the hands of a monster raid. The poor boy's body was burnt under the ruins of his hometown for 3 days straight. But this wasn't the end for Adam, who watched as his soul floated from the body of the child and into that of an abnormally large egg.

After waking up, Adam felt something wrong about his current surroundings. He felt his entire body was pushed into a pocket, something like a little kangaroo's pocket, warm and comfortable. His body seemed to be covered by some fluid of some sort, with small pockets of air sustaining his oxygen needs. He seemed to reek a smell similar to that of an unhatched egg.

Adam couldn't particularly analyze anything else since there was no light around him. Out of the instinctive fear of the unknown, Adam subconsciously opened his mouth to shout out for help, only he found himself suffocating on the fluid. Adam swung his arms wildly as he could finally touch a wall like substance. But Adam subconsciously banged his fist on this 'wall' only to realize that something was amiss. He pushed against it once more, but noticed his supply of oxygen shrinking and chose not to move. His strength suddenly seemed to be much lower than before, with his skin being dry and exposed, at least more so than before.

After tugging along at the layer of the eggshell out of the pure need for oxygen, the shell finally cracked as a glare of light found itself blinding his vision. Soon he managed to send a piece of the wall flying, as the viscous liquid around him finally found an outlet. It was flushed out like a pipe, making it's way out as he gasps greedily for the sweet, sweet oxygen.

However, Adam was taken aback by the strange grunting sounds he made after exhaling. He did not know if it was because his vocal cords had not been in use for a long time, but the sound he made was different when compared to his previous life.

The first thing Adam did after he pushed himself out was to raise his head and look at the sky. He was stunned by his scenery. There are 4 different moons?. And why is this moon exuding a reddish glow and hanging in the sky was a moon. He turned back and watched where he came out of.

What the f*ck! It's really an egg! He actually hatched from an egg. Was he really reborn as a monster?

Adam assessed his body now that he knew he wasn't exactly a human anymore. He was similar to an human being, but he was now a child, albeit with strength greater than that of a regular human teenage. His eyes were silted and his skin was scale like. He couldn't help but rush towards the water nearby and see he was quite human-like, kind of like an actual human but also a little different in the sense that he looked like a cosplayer. He couldn't help but touch his face as he noticed a new difference in his face. There seemed to be two bulges on his forehead. Were those horns?

Adam finally noticed that he had not checked something quite important. He looked down and watched a rather well endowed penis. Although it's a little chilly without pants, all's well if it's still down there. (PP op)

Adam couldn't help but shiver as he realized that if he were reborn as a girl monster, wouldn't he be the one to give birth?. And that too to an egg. He shook his head, chasing away the horrendous thought out of his mind. He noticed that he seemed to have a rough idea of everything around him rather well, but he needed some time to consolidate his new memories and the new information given to him.

There was nothing really special about Adam. Born and raised until he was 18 years old. He moved out of his home and shifted to another country for a job, working hard to pay off any debts his parents had made before. He really didn't have any hobbies except for the occasional video games. And if you thought about it this way, Adam was actually quite ordinary. The only thing that was really commendable about him would probably be the last few pieces of memory he had.

Adam watched a child running onto the road without the red light and watched as a truck nearly smashed into the child. Without really thinking, he moved the child away and was hit by the speeding pink truck. He passed away under the pity filled gaze of the people nearby and under the crying child's tear struck face.

Thinking of his ordinary life, was it really necessary for him to be reincarnated in this bizarre place and became whatever monster he was?. Adam really had no regrets losing his life to save the young child. Who could possibly have the time to think before saving someone's life? Humans led ordinary lives for their entire, meaningless lives, and one glorious moment was enough to shine out brighter than any other.

After mourning for his previous life for some time, Adam sighed. paying tribute to himself and for the safety of his parents, the now young monster explored his surrounding after assessing the memories bestowed upon him. And what he saw made him feel somewhat dizzy.

"Dungeon?"
