Slowly but surely, I could feel my consciousness coming back to me. I could hear Manny saying my name but it was muffled. And once I was able to see I was tied up next to Manny and he was tied up as well with muzzles on our mouths. Manny was talking nonsense, I say that because I couldn't hear exactly what he was trying to tell me. I rolled on my side and sat straight up. I leaned against a wall and rubbed my head against it trying to take off the muzzle. It eventually came off and I said, "Manny, how and when did you get captured?"
He rubbed against the wall and took off the muzzle and said, "No time to explain, we need to get out of here now!" He sounded serious and sincere. I asked him why we need to get out of here and he said that Nazo is going to turn us into his pawns. I tried warping through my restrictors and I couldn't. Manny said, "He took our prowesses Goshi, we cant use Yin or Yang anymore."
Manny was right, I had forgotten about that. Still, we needed to find a way out of here. Manny tells me to sit against his back and untie him.
Both of us ended up untieing each other and we were defenseless against the people here. Manny and I began planning our escape. Our first step was getting out of this room and finding an exit. I thought this was an excellent idea but we needed to stop Nazo and our mother.
I told Manny that we should try to take our powers from Nazo because him having them is dangerous. Manny agreed but the case settled of how we're going to do that. I mentioned that the scaled swords can absorb energy with their swords. Manny didn't like that idea because it is near impossible to take them down with the strength we have.
Since we've been here neither Manny nor I have seen an exit or entrance so we cant identify what part of Nova1c we are on. Manny told me to ignore that for now and help him break out of this room. So we tried to open the doors and surprisingly the door was unlocked, I figured it would be sealed shut or something.
The corridor was empty and quiet but we could hear voices talking down the hallway. My shoulder and leg were aching, it seemed Nazo healed it when I was passed out. Maybe he needs us as Manny said earlier. But once we hit the corner we could hear the voices evermore clearer and we could tell it was Nazo and mother. So we decided to back off but we were already detected. "Come from around that corner."
We remained quiet and backed up slowly but from behind us, two scaled sword members caught us. They took us to the main room which our progenitors were in. Both of them were surprised that we were able to get this far. I forcefully asked them what they planned with the YinYang spirits. They caricatured me and said that I was in no place to ask questions.
However, they enlightened us about their separate plans. Nazo said that when he was born, he was supposed to get the Yin spirit because he was a direct descendant of Katon and there was a skip in between his father and him where he was supposed to get it and it was never given to him. He made it simple that he wanted to claim what's his and obtain all the power in the world to become the strongest in the world. He told us how serious he was and said that he killed his brother because he thought he was hiding the power from him.
He said that he didn't care how people looked at him for that and that he only wanted what was truly his. I thought he was mad, he killed his own brother just to find out he didn't have the power. I noticed something ominous about Nazo, but I just let it be, it could have been the spirits being inside him. Our mother wanted to say what her ambitions and intentions were. First, she said that she didn't want to do what she did to Nagi and that Amoi was an assurance that the spirits didn't go to him.
I tried to hurt my mother but Manny grabbed me by the shoulder and told me not to move. She said mentioned that the Yin and Yang attract to one another so automatically they will combine and become one master of the YinYang. But she stopped with the extra talk and began her actual goal. She picked up where she left off and said that she only killed Nagi because she needed Nazo to become the master of the YinYang. For that reason, so her family can return with Nazo as the strong head of the family. Her motive was as sick as his, she really thinks that Manny and I are going to return to her after what she did, I had to kill her.
I waved my hand and the lights above her cracked and the glass rushed to her head. Nazo flicked his finger and the glass turned into dust in a blink of an eye. Nazo then said, "Goshi, if you ever try that again I will make you relive the day your other half died, understand me." That ominous feeling came back again and this time it made me fearful of him. I stood before everyone and said, "I understand." I didn't want to say that, it was like he forced me to say it. He laughed and said that his power is so strong that the presence makes people do things. I looked to the floor from embarrassment and Manny shouted, "What did you do to him!"
Nazo put his hand on his sword and said, "Goshi dies." He swiftly leaps to me and cuts me in half. Before I realized it happened I was dead.
