Manny was on guard, and I was without a weapon, but Jominara was my shield. Before we fought, Jominara told me her kind is known to use necromancy. That is the art of communicating with the dead and the use of the dark arts. This could be helpful for Nazo, but my brother shouldn't be a part of this battle. Manny then charged directly at me and attempted to kill me. I dodged his swings and grabbed his arm that wielded the sword and punched his side.
Nazo was complimenting my ability to stand toe to toe with Manny. I shouted at him to release Manny from his spell. Nazo waved his hand and Manny's mind snapped back to reality, but his actions were doing the opposite. Manny was back to his normal self, but he was still trying to kill me. Manny was struggling to fight his spell and couldn't budge. I shouted for Nazo to stop using him as a puppet. Nazo didn't comply but turned Manny back to his puppet state.
I continued to dodge Manny's attacks as I thought of a plan. Jominara said that Tama no fukujū can seal his movements until I can't hold it anymore. That was an excellent idea, but I'm not sure if Manny would lose his would in exchange. Jominara reminded me that this ability is under my control, so I could decide if Manny dies or not.
At this point, I didn't have any other plan, so this was my only possibility to stop him. Jominara told me to use this ability, she will need to build up a massive amount of energy. She added that she needed time and wanted me to divert him until she had the strength to pull the move off. I told her that I would try it sometime, and she began siphoning power.
As the minutes grew longer, Nazo and my mother noticed me prolonging the fight for some reason. Nazo activated his true YinYang form and his eyes had the YinYang symbol in both eyes. He started examining me and seemed to have noticed my power building up rapidly. He saw how immense it was, and he vastly swiped his hand and the surrounding area started to unfold.
By that, I mean the literal area around us began to peel off and Pansen was becoming exposed behind it all. I think this is the time-space the true YinYang holder is capable of. My mother remained on Nova1c and Manny was unconscious and hovering above the ground. Nazo stood in front of me and said, "I don't know where you found this new power, but you will not take what's truly mine." He waved both of his hands and a bubble surrounded me. Jominara said that she was done, but Manny was already stopped.
I asked her if we had any explosive powers, and she said that she could turn Necro-lightning into an offensive move. I thought that was an excellent idea and told her to do that. I broke the bubble around me and attacked Nazo. Jominara told me we need to catch him off guard. I had an idea, but it was a long shot, Jominara told me to go for it, she would handle the collateral damage.
I swung at Nazo, and he blocked me and threw me to the ground. I told her to release the lightning as I pointed my hand at Manny. Nazo noticed what I was doing, and he jumped in front of Manny and absorbed the lightning. I used my base skill and scattered the lightning. The strands engulfed his legs and blew them off. Nazo stopped absorbing the lightning and the rest struck him like a truck. His body was severely damaged, but it was slowly healing.
Jominara told me she had enough stamina to use Tama no fukujū. I zipped past Nazo as he was recovering and pointed my finger at Manny. Then out of nowhere, Nazo cuts off my hand and kicks me to the floor. I started screaming in distress, Jominara was my only defense as Nazo walked over to me. She panicked and teleported us back to Ki Proce mountain. I lay in the middle of the small mound as my blood was flowing down the hill.
Jominara closed my wound and brought me to the elder Nekomata. And on my arrival, I came back empty-handed, he emphasized my defeat and loss of hand by granting me something. As a specialized necromancer, he crafted me a new hand, however, it was furry and with claws. Once I cooled down from the battle, he asked me if I wanted to become stronger than Nazo.
My initial response was yes, but I told him that I needed to know if Manny was secure. The elder cat told me that my brother was going to be fine. I asked him how he knew that, and he said that Nazo wouldn't waste any resources. That was true, he did kidnap thousands of children for war. Jominara jumped out of me and walked out of the room.
Momentarily, I asked the elder cat how I could beat the master of the YinYang. He reiterated that the master of the YinYang isn't the one who originally has the power. He added that the real master of the YinYang is the one who understands its power and uses it to restore true balance. I muttered his last two words and thought profoundly about them.
He looked me in the eyes and told me that this was isn't over, and it wasn't going to get any better from now. I asked him what he meant by that, and he added that Pansen wasn't just a balanced land. He mentioned the existence of the reverse Pansen, a land beyond this original one. He said this land can only be sprouted when the balance is not restored. Furthermore, he made clear that even though the YinYang is together, doesn't mean that they are balanced.
Likewise, he noticed my confusion and told me that this reverse Pansen is like the Yin to our Yang, more or less, it is our shadow side. Not only that, but he indicated that my lack of skill and training will be one of the many problems that needed fixing. He didn't cover them, but he asked me if I wanted to train and become stronger than the YinYang user.
He enlightened me of the user's skills and abilities. They're a multitude of abilities which include strength, gravitational abilities, aura expansion, spiritual chaos/Necromancy, Soul charge, and Daisan'nome which meant "Final Eye." It all sounded appealing, but I couldn't just leave Manny in the hands of those maniacs. Then on top of that, Eqihr, Mai, and her brothers were clueless about what's happening or going to happen.
The elder said that I was the only one who could do it. I asked him why he came to me exactly. He said that he required someone who isn't from here, but someone involved. I looked down and considered accepting his proposal. He placed a talisman on the table. I could feel the power from where I stood, and I looked at the cat-eye carved into the gem in the center of the talisman.
My hand reached out to it and grasped it off of the table. I looked at it carefully and asked him what it was. He replied, "the mindless Nekomata's chamber." I took a deep breath and said, "I'll do it."
