Seconds later I was back and on the floor gasping for air. Everyone was standing where they were last. He killed me and said that he was proving a point that I was at his mercy at this point. I looked at him with sin inside of my eyes and said, "Nazo, you and my mother are crazy people, you think power is everything, but it's not." He replied that power is all there is and my mother said that power and family are all there is. I then said, "Not when you kill them off for power."
My mother then walks to me slowly and gets in my face and says, "Goshi, as your parent I will give you one more time to say something smart again." She then slaps me across my face and walked back to Nazo's side.
The other scaled swords walked into the room and asked Nazo what the next mission was. He said that the list was long but it could be completed. Nazo added that the stolen children needed to be brainwashed and trained for a few years. He also said that the remaining towns and villages needed to be put in line. So he sent the scaled swordsmen and women to destroy their leaders and claim the land.
Manny looked me in the eyes and looked up trying to show me something. There was an opening and a rope. He was hoping I could make it come to us and use his power to launch us in the air. The only way for this to work is if they were distracted by something. I suddenly said, "We don't want to be here, can we leave?" Our mother told us, no, but Nazo said, "Of course you can, it's not like you can do anything to stop us right."
I flicked my finger and the rope dropped but Nazo cut it down with his sword. He shortly said, "However, only one of you can leave, not both." Manny quickly said, "Goshi you go." I refused and told Manny he should go instead of me. Both of us were in a disagreement and our mother said, "How adorable, our children got the caring gene from your brother." Nazo agreed and opened a portal before saying, "You have ten seconds to decide who goes, or you both stay."
Manny walked to the portal and said, "Goshi let's say our last goodbyes." I walked to him with a limp and said, "Manny, you should do this, you-." He grabbed me by the arms and launched me through the portal and shouted, "Close it!" I tried rushing back to the portal and right as my hand was about to go through the portal closed. I was abandoned in the middle of the road on Nova1c with no way to find anyone.
The good news was that my home was only five blocks from here. I began walking and came across my neighbor's room and noticed something was off. The front of the door had an evicted sign taped to the front of it and an E.T.U sight next to it. I snagged it off and read the abbreviated lettering below. The message read, "This evacuation was under the control of the E.T.U." I dropped the paper and walked down the hall to my apartment and the door was cracked open.
I could hear a small rustling sound coming from down the hallway so I further investigated. As I skulked down the hall, the sound grew louder and it lead to my room. I used my ability and slightly pushed my door open and on my bed was something fuzzy. I peaked from the side of the wall and said, "Who are you?" It snapped its head at me and its eyes were a dark ember and resembled that of a panther.
It leaped off of my bed and dropped low as it made its way towards me. I told it to stay where it was but after I threatened to hurt it plunged at me. I swung my palm and my pillow flew in front of me and blocked the feline from attacking me. I turned around and bolted down the hall to Manny's room. The feline was now prone to the wall and chasing me down the hall. I could see in the corner of my eye that it was on my tail. It let go of the wall and dived at me. I was then tackled to the floor and the cat hissed at me so I shoved it off of me.
I scattered across the floor and the cat knocked me into my mother's room and stood on top of me. I was motionless and the cat talked to me and said, "Hey, I was trying to get your attention." I replied, "Is killing me a part of that mission?" The cat implied that she thought that I was trying to play with her. I refused to believe that, she attacked me and acted like she was going to kill me.
She jumped off of me and said that she was looking for someone named Goshi. I told her that was me and she said that she has been waiting for this moment. I looked at her confusingly and she was in attack formation and jumped inside me. I got this weird feeling across my body and said that she would momentarily explain. My body became overwhelmed with power. This power felt more similar to the Yang spirit's power. I looked into my mother's mirror and my eyes were ember and similar to a Nekomata mountain cat from ancient mythology.
I learned about this in school, they say that these cats are found in a distant land and settle on a mountainside. They also are known to be wise, strong, skilled, and warm creatures. The Nekomata inside me said that her name was Jominari and that she was sent here to find me by her village leader. Jominari went a few minutes back and said that her leader needs me to come back to Pansen and the mountain of Ki Proce.
I told her that I couldn't and that I had business of my own to see too. She said that she knew someone who knew how to stop Nazo. I began contemplating because for one, I need to see Manny again, and two, I want to stop my father. And any chance I can take, I will act. I agreed and told her that we needed a way to enter Pansen. I also added that my Yang abilities are gone so I have no space-time travel.
She told me not to worry because her genus can maneuver between spaces. Her aura amplified my body and spread a purple bubble of aura around me. She told me to lift my palm and summon a portal. I did so and a portal conjured in front of me. I jumped in and I was brought to the top of a mountain. It was Mount Ki Proce
