Chapter 9 - hunting at home

Talking with his parents has always been calming. It was home. After discussing with them what had happened, they had found themselves going back to talk about the savior. Things had been weird and according to his parents, no one had ever marked their partner in adream. In as much as there was much mystery surrounding this, if they did more research, they could of course find out what had happened.

That night, Ryan moved out to meet with his pack members. He had missed the thrill of the hunt, giving out instructions as they went stealthily. Fresh prey always tasted the best. Everyone turned from their base and then moved to the woods. Everyone in position, they moved as Ryan mastered the thoughts of everyone in the group. They had to be focused and of the same mind. That had always been their strength.

Giving instructions, Enoch just beside him as the beta, they moved forward stealthily before they broke into a run. He could feel the excitement filling his veins as his blood raced. This was the real deal. Scratch city life and thinking about books. The thrill of action was the best. Together that night they made a bountiful harvest, though they made sure to take care of the wildlife in that area because it was their source of live hood.

They had a controlled system within their basement where they kept animals for food but home animals could of course never compare with wild animals. Bred and grown by nature, just the right amount of texture. Besides that, was the thrill of having to play with the prey until it realized that there was no way out. Getting home, Ryan spent most of his time thinking of her. she invaded every part of his brain. He wanted her with a ferocity he had bever wanted another person.

It was almost as if now that he had met her, he would combust with heat if he did not know her. And strangely enough, he missed her so thoroughly it was scary. The next day, he spent most of his time coaching the scouts and also the warriors as the more prepared they were, the better it was.

It was during this time, that his parents called him to their study and by the look on their faces it was something serious. "Good morning dad, mom" Ryan said as he walked to kiss each of them.

"Good morning to you too son. I think we might have to go to the study for some talk." Thapelo said as he broke into a stride. "Okay, I guess something serious has happened." Ryan said as he followed.

Getting into the office he closed the door behind him and looking at his parents went on to sit. "Spit it out dad, what is going on."

"Son we have reason to believe that the woman you met might be the savior that all wolf world has been waiting." Thapelo said as he moved within the room in a show nervous excitement.

"So, after you told us about what happened between the two of you, we decided to search deeply and see whether there had ever been a case like yours that had ever happened in our history. This brought us into the recent happenings. When the savior was born, you remember the weird things that accompanied it. Well, it also happened millions of years ago, when the first ever case of a savior had appeared, she also came with such signs and what followed was even more bizarre.

When she got marked, it happened in a peculiar manner. She was marked on a hunt. At this time, she had joined a pack, and the pack there did not recognize her for who she had been. The alpha at that time had been a fraud and it happened that as she and the servants were on an errand, it happened that while she was standing, she felt her neck sting. While standing there, she looked to her left and she realized that one of the wolfs was standing in a weird position, with his mouth in a bite like position.

He had felt when he bit her but they had been over fifty meters away from each other. She had ended up with bite marks, while it had all remained peculiar. No one had realized that and all this was only recorded when they eventually became the lead of the pack, after the fraud was defeated in a battle. The way these saviors were made was such that they would only be able to have fate with one man, prechosen and preordained. Weird and peculiar things would connect them.

"This is why we think you should bring her over for a visit, not just because this is a sensitive matter but because if this is true it could be a gamechanger." Thapelo said as he looked at him. You do know that according to how young you said she was, she could actually have been born on that same day that that sign appeared. If she was, it is good that we know." Estella said as she patted his back and left.

That night, he had not been able to sleep. It felt as though he was living in a fast-paced dream where he did not have control over his own life. He had gotten to the bottom of all this and if it really was as his parents said, this would not just be a blessing, it would be the start of a blood bath. He did not know how many would even survive past that.
