They had to sprinkle some cold water on her to get her to rise. Her mom on that day had looked at her as though looking at a strange animal. When she saw her face, she had turned whiter than any flour she had known, nearly fainting again. Thankfully, she had kept in what she had seen and today, they had a pretty close friendship with her parents. They may not have been her biological parents, but they may as well have been. They had been with her through the changes she experienced in high school and even during work.
When she had suggested moving out to the big city, they had been heartbroken. Her mom had tried to hide the worry in her eyes but she had seen it all. Heard it all. And God help her she loved them as they were. She would sit and think rationally and then maybe she could make informed decisions.
Taking the last scoop of ice cream, Leila moved to the window. This was fate that she had moved to New York and in turn met someone just like her. That proved that supernatural beings really did exist. That she was at least normal. Thinking within herself and conversing with her inner wolf, she had come to a conclusion that she had to go back to that place and try to get some answers. Maybe here, she really had a chance to make a living for herself.
Morning came faster than she would have wanted. The better part of her night had been spent in an erotic dream. There they had both changed, him, a handsome big meaty wolf. Brown mixed with golden fur covered the majority of his body. He looked big as compared to her and as they stood side by side, she could feel the excitement and desire coursing through them. His scent overwhelming her. The most beautiful scent she had ever felt.
Then he sank his canines on her throat at the base of her neck and shoulder blades. When he moved, there were two bite marks, dark and red. She had felt pain, and then, she could feel it. There was someone else on her mind, communicating and overwhelming her with thoughts. Wait, she could hear his thoughts. And his thoughts were not exactly good. The man wanted to have her now that he had marked her. Wait what was marking. The dream ended with the both of them in an embrace.
Waking up, she felt sore in the spot just where her neck connected with her shoulders. Moving to the mirror, she looked and behold, there was a bite mark, exactly like the one she had seen in the dream. This was a strange occurrence. Now she was officially panicking. How could a bite in the dream become true in real life? She could not help but come up with theories why she had those marks on her shoulders but none added up. What the hell was going on with her. This had to be a big joke on her.
