"Hello!" We were greeted by a chipper receptionist peering at us over her baby blue glasses, "How can I help you ladies today?"
"We're here for our schedules," Julie said, "We're new, our names are Julie and Kiley Moon."
The receptionist started typing away on her computer, printing off several sheets of paper and stapled them together. She handed them over to us, we said our thanks, and left. As soon as we left the office, we tried seeing if we had any classes together, the only one we happened to have together was gym.
"Not a huge surprise, I'm a junior and you're a freshman," I said, "We should look and see if our lockers are close together though." We walk through the hallways, talking about our new schedules and trying to guess what our new teachers will be like, if there might be any cute boys in our classes. We get to our lockers and they're right next to each other, thank god. They must alphabetize them here. We open our lockers and start setting them up. I put in my metal pencil holder and started filling it with the new pens and pencils I had gotten, and Julie hung up her mirror and put her backup makeup in a case in hers. We finished stacking our books, leaving a few for our first classes. The first bell rang, we said our goodbyes, and started heading off to our first classes. Mine was math. Whoever decided that math should be a morning class was obviously not a fan of people who didn't like math. I headed up the gray, rickety stairs and found my class fairly easily. I was one of the first ones there so I sat in the last row in the corner.
