Chapter 32 - Six warriors against one woman

She got up with a grunt as debris fell off of her. She had been tossed off the green beast to avoid a fatal blow from a lightning bolt.

Who had done that, she asked herself floating into the air ready to fly back into town. She would have done so if an iron shard had not appeared out of nowhere before her, causing her to react faster than light, dodging a point blank explosion from the element.

Creating a shield, she deflected all iron projectiles raining down on her from the explosion.

Looking far ahead six creatures walked towards her with one of them, arms outstretched creating shards of iron in an offensive manner.

"Why did you stop!?" Reya one of the vampires asked in fright. "She might be a demon."

"I don't think demons react the way she did. She blocked my attack with a shield. A demon wouldn't do that," the iron mage answered with a straight face, not taking her eyes off her target.

"There's only one way to find out and I'm not slacking on it," Harry said before getting his arrows ready.

"Where did you find the extra arrows?" Reya asked in surprise at the new arrows in Harry's backpack.

"Oh my arrows are magic. They replenish within a certain time so I'm never out of weapons."

"Neat," the creature smiled.

The mysterious woman got onto her feet sighing with exasperation at the outcome of this unusual welcome, "When you six are done chirping can you explain why I'm being attacked?"

"It can talk," Indigo gasped.

"Yes it can, but I'm not taking chances," Olly snapped. "Everyone battle stances now!"

"Well I guess they're not going to hear me out then," the woman said her hands glowing with intense energy to which she pointed at her enemies across the field.

"She's preparing to attack," Reya muttered.

"Let's go!" Umbra blurted out before blitzing towards the warrior, intending to take her down.

With a swipe of her hand, a large beam of light shone towards the vampire, knocking her back twenty feet into a nearby mountain destroying it within seconds.

"Umbra!" Reya screamed attempting to go to her sisters aid.

"If you go now, we would be one warrior short," Trina noted. "Fight with us now and mourn later."

Already frightened from what she had just seen, she reluctantly accepted Trina's words, turning her attention to the mysterious woman.

"Everyone be wary of her energy beam," Indigo observed. "We don't want to be hit with that thing."

The warriors which now included, Indigo, Harry, Reya, Olly and Trina blitzed towards the woman who flew into the air laughing.

"This is going to be so much fun," she chuckled before dropping onto the earth creating a shockwave which sent the warriors hurtling backwards.

One by one the warriors regained composure as they tried out their attempts at bringing down the creature to no avail.

She was too strong. Her powers were unlike anything they had ever faced before.

Her speed countered everything the vampire could throw at her to the point of the vampire being blitzed herself from a blind spot. Her reaction time effortless for even Harry's magic arrows and Indigos iron shards couldn't get her off guard making her impossible to bring down by surprise.

Of course Trina and Olly went all out with their sword fire techniques only native to their clans but it was still no match for the lady's wind attacks.

Within minutes they were sprawled out on the ground, scattered around a now changed landscape which had been damaged during the battle.

"How do we deal with this thing?" Reya horrifyingly exclaimed.

"It's like we're not even trying here," Indigo followed suit.

The woman floated towards them laughing, "You all gave this battle a great shot, that I can tell. Okay, to make it fair, I will only use two percent of my powers and it won't include me flying and redirecting attacks or even using shields and controlling the elements around. Infact, no more energy attacks. Just good old fashioned speed and strength. Let's see if you guys can still measure up."

Olly hit the ground in anger, "Are you underestimating us?"

With a chuckle, she raised her hands in unconditional surrender, "Listen chump, I'm trying to make things fair here for you guys. And it wouldn't be a battle if all I did was destroy everything with you guys in it."

"Olly, let's listen to her," Trina begged.

"You really should listen to the females you have around you," the woman chuckled again.

"I'm a man," Harry blurted out.

"What?"

"You said he should listen to the females around him and I'm trying to tell you that I'm a man."

"Oh, that was not what I meant..."

"Enough! I accept your terms, but how do we know we can trust you?" Olly erupted readying his weapons for the next wave.

With a smile beautiful enough to melt hearts, she gave him an answer which was obvious, "Because if I wanted you all dead, I would have done it already. Five seconds would be more than enough time to do so."

The six warriors stood on their feet with a new fresh of hope on their side. Weapons raised towards their target, they waited for their leader to give the order.

"You have one chance, don't mess it up, else you won't get another like it again," her voice echoed through the valley destroying their hopes with grave warnings.

"Are you sure this is a great idea? I mean, she is really toying with us," Indigo whispered.

"Don't worry, I've got a plan," Olly whispered back. "Once we get into her range, since her shields and powers are down and she won't be using it, I'll use my clans secret technique."

"Isn't that dangerous seeing as it would leave you vulnerable?" Harry joined in, whispering a little louder than others.

"You seriously call that a whisper? Pretty sure she can hear you from across the field," Trina reprimanded the archer.

"It would, but that's where you all come in," Olly snapped. "I would use the technique with Trina following suit."

Trina nodded stiffly hoping it wouldn't come to that.

"If we don't get her with the attack, that's where Harry and Indigo would destroy her with their arrows and iron projectiles which can explode on impact," he went on, receiving silent nods from the two.

"What about us?" Umbra noted joining them halfway through the discussion as her healing factor started to kick in.

"You vampires have massive strength and speed which we cannot rival. Go hard against her while Harry and Indigo shoot their projectiles at the woman," he heaved before rolling his shoulders around. "Let's get her."

The woman who had created a chair out of the ground looked at them in a boring manner, "Are you done planning? Almost fell asleep here for a second."

Olly pointed at her with his sword, "We're ready now."

"Then come at me and stop wasting my time," she yawned before dodging a punch from Umbra who had gotten faster than before.

"Now this is more like it," she smiled evilly, speeding towards the vampire while evading the exploding shards of iron and arrows being sent to her.

"Now!" Umbra screamed out before dodging a point blank explosion from one of the projectiles.

"Here we go!" Olly nodded at Trina who followed him into the fierce battle going on between the mage, the archer, the vampires and the woman.

Waving their arms around, they pointed their swords at the woman with the symbols on their swords glowing blue. It was locked on and there was no escape for the mystery woman.

"ARDEBIT IN CINERE!" they both cried out releasing a very powerful wide range blast from their swords destroying everything within their paths.

"Now!" Indigo shouted using a magical teleportation sign which teleported her and her comrades out of harm leaving the woman to take the full brunt of the attack.

The Vladian warriors screamed out with their attacks destroying everything as a hole was created in two mountains, one-shotting their enemy far into the forest.

Their blasts stopped going through their swords with their stamina fading as they fell onto the ground panting in exhaustion while bleeding from their hands and faces.

"I hate this technique," Trina groaned in pain, cleaning the blood off her face which had clouded her eyes.

"Me too, but it can't be helped," Olly grunted back.

"Did it work?" Reya asked with fright looking at the destroyed terrain before her.

Two mountains had giant holes meaning the blast had gone through them with the trees burnt to nothing. The pond which had been at the foot of one of the mountains had dried up as the sky turned black at the rising smoke.

"No one can survive that attack, not even the demigods themselves," Olly smiled in victory.

From a distance a clap was heard shocking everyone to their bones with the woman appearing from the smoke and rubble. Her clothes had been torn away leaving her naked before them.

"I'm very impressed at your technique," she spat with her expression saying otherwise. "But your time is over."

"This... is... not... possible," Olly exclaimed in shock at what his eyes beheld.

He had used his clans highest techniques which even gods would be taken down by and yet somehow she had survived.

"You have no idea what is possible," her voice echoed as markings began to show up over her body, her eyes glowing a dark red with a rocky armour coating her body in protective armour.

"This is beyond anything I've ever seen," Reya knelt in submission as the woman levitated into the air, creating spirals of winds around her, causing barrages of lightning in the skies and rumbles of quakes on the earth.

The six warriors stared in hopelessness at the cataclysmic destruction being caused by the woman while they waited and prayed for a swift end.

"Kenzie!" they heard someone scream before being blitzed to safety, narrowly escaping a fire ball.

Now at a safe distance, they saw a creature which glowed white flying towards the mysterious woman as it defended with lightning when opposed to the woman who destroyed whatever challenged it in power and in strength.
