Arrows fly through the forest in blinding fashion destroying trees standing in its path. Iron shards pierce through rocks and mountains as the mage tries to get a lock on her target moving at superhuman speeds. Trina and Olly use their swordsmanship to go up against the boy who evades their attacks very easily. It was a battle between humans and vampires with none having any intention of losing.
"Are you having fun sisters?" the boy asked his comrades with a laugh as he dodged a hefty blow from an already furious Olly.
"Regroup!" Indigo ordered before jumping out of harms way avoiding a deadly blow from one of the vampires.
They formed a line each glaring their weapons under the afternoon sun, ready to strike at anything they deemed threatening.
"They are strong," Olly commended with a smile.
"Too strong," Trina eyed the leader who blew a kiss at her.
The creatures lurched themselves forward breaking through the defenses of the quartet as Indigo shielded herself from one of their slashes.
"I'm out!" Harry yelled using his bow as a club to evade a slash.
"Hang on!" Indigo shouted already on her knees from one of the creatures punching the iron shield she conjured over her head.
"Worry about yourself," it hissed at her before launching a powerful blow.
Olly whispered to Trina who nodded as they closed their eyes in unison, waving their arms around in a traditional way. The boy sped towards them with deadly speed but was struck back with unimaginable force breaking into a mountain nearby.
Everyone trembled from the devastating strength being shown by Trina and Olly, however, they soon begin to bleed from their noses as Trina falls to the ground leaving Olly to stand his ground ready to go on with the fight alone.
The blast released by the two swordsmen had left a huge tear in the landscape leading up to a demolished mountain about a mile away from the genesis of the fight. The vampires retreated from the archer and the mage to avoid being caught in a blast like that.
Indigo staggered to her feet with blood dripping from her hands.
"Are you okay?" Harry asked when he met up with her, his bow broken.
"Yeah, but she does not look good," she said pointing to a weakened Trina.
An explosion was heard from a distance as the boy jumped into the air from the rubble and onto the ground breaking it upon landing. His face which had blood running from it started to heal up and soon the blood clotted to his skin.
"Oh for fuck sake," Indigo sighed plodding to where Olly stood.
"Perks of being a vampire," he laughed. "You cheeky bastard, that hurts a bit y'know."
Harry joined Indigo in dragging Trina away from the battlefield as Olly looked back with a savage look on his face.
"You can go all out," Indigo heaved. "I'll shield us from your next blast."
"Enough with the shenanigans worm," the boy said with grave seriousness. "I don't want to hurt anyone."
"But I do want to hurt you," he spat out with the symbols on his swords glowing blue. "ARDEBIT IN CINERE!"
As soon as he had said those words a wide range blast blew out of his swords incinerating everything which stood between him and the vampires, however, Oceania dropped from the sky using his trident as a shield to protect the vampires from the deadly blow.
"I'm glad you finally decided to show up," he grunted trying to concentrate with his trident outstretched.
"It's fine, just make sure the dragon fire doesn't get to me and my sisters then we're even," the boy noted, hiding behind the god of the seas with his comrades.
It took awhile for the blast from Olly's swords to stop crackling, showing a terrain damaged beyond repair. Exhausted from the energy he had released, he fell onto his knees using his swords to keep himself upright as Indigo rushed to the bloodied human.
"Are you okay?" she asked to which he grunted a reply.
"If we're done here I'd like to introduce everyone," Oceania announced lightly walking to the four humans with a fruit bag.
"Stay away from us!" a tired Trina warned.
"Relax, these are Tallily seeds, they heal all wounds," he explained, dropping the seed bag into the palms of the mage.
She looked at her teammates, nodded before tossing one into her mouth, passing it around for everyone to have a taste.
"On my left we have the Angus royal family," he introduced the vampires as they waved smiling. "They are the first vampires to be created and they have lived for more than five thousand years."
"Oh please, we're almost ten thousand," the boy countered with an evil smirk.
"And on my right we have the humans who helped Mephistopheles lose his son," the god went on.
"You're really terrible at giving introductions," Harry remarked to which the god waved away with his hand.
"I am god of the seas, not god of entertainment," he stated. "If you want more introductions, tell the sentry over there to do that for you or better still, ask them yourselves."
A soldier walked up to them spear in hand, nodding to them before whispering into the gods ear.
"Well, well. It seems the young warrior has entered your range of perception," he raved at the soldier before turning to the humans. "Eat up chumps, there's an evil force on this island and we are going to bring it down while trying to rescue the Sun clan princess."
The four of them looked at the god like he was crazy as he approached the vampire leader, tossed him over his shoulder against his wishes while heading towards the shattered mountain.
"Hey," one of the vampires called out stretching her hand to Indigo. "I'm sorry about that, I hope I didn't hurt you."
She looked at the creature with hatred in her eyes shooting a venomous 'No' towards her.
"My name is Reya of the Angus royal family," she said with an empathetic smile squatting onto the ground close to the mage. "Those two are Umbra my twin sister and Ramul my little brother."
Indigo noting there was no hostile intent coming from the creature decided to let down her guard, "Indigo of Svilnea, city of love."
"It's nice to meet you Indigo of Svilnea," she said with a hearty smile.
"Harry of Draka, the capital," the archer blurted. "And you are very beautiful if I may add."
"It's nice to meet you Harry of Draka," she laughed. "And thank you, I've had the pleasure of hearing so many men tell me that."
"Trina of the Vladian warriors," the swordsman answered getting on her feet.
"I'm honored to meet you Trina of the Vladian warriors," she said, looking up to meet her gaze. "You fought valiantly."
"Thank you," Trina blushed walking up to the sentry guard with a seductive smile.
"I am Olly of the Vladian warriors," he gave off indifferent, standing to his feet before walking away ignoring her remarks about his powers.
"Pay him no mind," Indigo noted. "He gets angry any time he loses a fight."
"I understand," Reya nods. "But he needs to know that we have lived for thousands of years and over time we have grown stronger than your regular vampires. We have faced..."
"We need to get moving and join Lord Oceania in rescuing the Sun clan warrior," the sentry soldier interrupted, reminding them of their true mission.
"Oh yes, that's true," Indigo noted jumping to her feet ready to join the rescue team.

The town bubbled with merchants and buyers haggling and arguing over prices. It was a normal day for the Klax clan as the afternoon sun blessed them with warmth and light giving clear weather for good market.
"I see you've healed up really nice," Reya detected.
"Yeah, I did. The seeds worked like magic," Indigo responded.
"That's because they are magic," Umbra chipped in.
"We're here!" Oceania announced, stabbing his trident into the ground.
"So where do we go from here?" Ramul asked, looking around in disgust at the foods which laid on market tables.
"Well... I don't know about that," the god scratched his head.
"Thought you said you could perceive the dark energy or something," Harry bawled.
"I never said that. Moving on, Sentry where is this evil?" he asked the soldier.
The soldier closed his eyes with a hand on his forehead as he pointed to the sky close to the harbour. The god squinted to see if he was right and picked up his trident from the ground.
"Do you see it Angus?" he asked this time with seriousness.
"I do. A green footed dragon with two dark riders on it," Ramul answered. "They're here to destroy the battlefield and whittle our numbers."
"Sneaky bastard cheating whenever he gets a little chance," the god muttered.
The sky started to darken as he levitated into the air, lightning crackling around his body. When he had generated enough power, he channeled the energy to his trident, blasting the dragon out of the sky.
"They separated," Trina observed as one of the riders on the dragon jumps into a nearby mountain leaving the other rider and the dragon to crash into the outskirts of town.
"I'll take care of the dragon and the rider with the sentry and Angus. You six take out the other threat," he ordered before flying towards the dragon followed by a blitzing Ramul and a jumping sentry.
"It's in the mountains," Olly noted. "Don't hold back."
The six of them make their way towards the mountains ready to defend the town and its people from the Kings threat.
