"Commander the signal has come!"
A male adjutant loudly reported to a man who was seating inside his office and having tea. The adjutant had not even bothered to knock on his door, it looked like the message that he was delivering was important.
The male commander did not seem to mind at all. The commander was a rotund man with grey hair cut neatly with green coloured eyes that had a glint in them. This male was the commander of Rawyth forces for the Dralia Mountain Range war campaign, Albert Thomson.
"They have not wasted anytime, Arin must be really serious about preventing Ruhen from having any breathing space. Though I guess it's the same with us."
'His Majesty had personally summoned back to tell me the importance of this endeavour. I cannot waste time as well.'
Commander Thomson was ready for action.
"Alvin, summon the commanders and squad leaders for the mage squads, we cannot waste time as well. The attack of two kingdoms is sure to pressure Ken Wright."
There was a storm definitely coming towards Ruhen, the tension in the Dralia mountain range was almost tangible, such that the creatures were escaping away from Edward's Crevasse.

Percival immediately started to cast tier 1 spell [Wind step] after giving the order to get ready to leave the FOB camp. Percival was immediately followed by some of the recruits who were following his thoughts.
The people who were slightly confused were Alice and Sheryl, the two had hoped that June was wrong about not staying in the FOB camp.
Every person chose their movement spell of choice, everyone casted a normal spells, no combination spells were casted. They had to conserve their mana, and the tension in camp was enough to tell them any person what was to happen, no person was fooling around.
'We changed team name huh, I guess is better than 'Team Seven', don't want the team members going rogue or anything like that.'
Internally commented Grey whilst having wind gusts around his legs due to [Wind Step]. Around the camp, Grey could start feeling mana spikes, showing that spells were being casted.
It was not only team 6 that was leaving the FOB camp, Grey was starting to see different effects of different movement spells.
There were all types effects around peoples legs, the most popular of the movement type elements being lightning, wind and light were visible around people's bodies
After the whole of team 6 were done with their spells, Percival lead the team towards the gate of the camp.
"Lt Elrod, what is our mission?"
June asked Percival using his military rank and his surname, it was possible to see that she too was being serious. This made Percival to glance at his team starting from June all the way to Ross.
The information that he had heard in the command centre made him afraid, like the other commanders and mage team leaders he did not want to have subordinates to die.
"I will explain after we leave the camp. Change to offensive formation."
Immediately after that, the formation of the team had the most offensive people closer to the front. Because they were moving in two columns, June, Bon, Grey, Ross and Alice were in the front of the two columns whilst the rest of the team were at the rear.
Grey was observing the camp whilst using tier 1 spell, [Wind Listen] to listen to the general information about the situation in the camp.
What he found out was that the commander of the camp had ordered the start the siege on the defence line and every mage team was going to action.
As team 6 was speeding to leave the camp, there were other teams to leave the camp. With all the teams leaving at the same time, the different lighting effects due to the different movement spells made for a beautiful view when viewed from the sky.
'Ah… How good a camera would be at this time…'
Grey lamented not being able to a take a picture, but at least the memory of a mage is practically photographic. It did not take a long time for them to exit the FOB camp gate.
"Our mission, like the other soldiers is to start attacking the third defence line."
Percival started like that to get the attention of the members of Team 6.
"Team six's objective, together with another mage team is to attack point 3-07 on the left wing defence line."
The entire third defence line was divided into four zones, and each zone divided into multiple attack points, Team 6 was going to attack point 07 in zone 3 of the third defence line.
There was a pause for the team, the only noise that could be heard was the wind that was blowing due to the high speed.
"Lt Elrod, what can we expect in terms of defences?"
"Ah Gram… Defences…?"
It looked like Percival's mind was still in the command centre with Major April telling them to be fast and hard with this initial attack.
"We can expect a highly fortified position, with mages and regular human troops. The regular troops behind us will mostly deal with the other regular humans. But we must soften them up, if our forces attack such fortified position, they will suffer higher casualties."
"I understand lieutenant."
"Obviously, you know our main focus will be killing the enemy mages. If those are dead, we can easily kill the regular human troops."
Percival stopped at that point.
"Lt Elrod is there something else you would like us to say?"
June asked Percival, because she could feel he was hiding something.
Percival just looked at June without saying anything for 5 seconds.
"Command wants us to hit them very hard, and most importantly, the whole third defence line must be down in 1-2 weeks."
There were looks of surprise in faces of the people who had military training, even Grey was not able to hide his shock.
'Command is already expecting this to be a bloody war.'
Grey looked at Percival and he could understand why his subordinate loving lieutenant would feel troubled by this. Grey understood that Percival was not a naïve person and he understood his job very much, but that did not stop him from feeling sad about the possible deaths of his subordinates.
The civilian recruits understood the implication of his words a few seconds after the rest of the other military trained people.
No words were said after that, as every person tried to calm their nerves down. Even the military academy recruits felt nervous, this was not a simulation where there only result is a lot of pain, death was going to be the final result in this conflict.
They speeded towards point 3-07 for 30 minutes from the FOB camp.
"We are about to meet team 9, we will coordinating together to attack point 3-07."
Percival could feel his awareness intersect the awareness of another tier 2 mage, the awareness's origin was in their meeting point, several kilometres from attack point 3-07.
"A mage's glory…"
"Is too discover the unknown."
Percival was the one who finished the phrase, when he heard the start of the password from who he believed was team 9.
A did not take long for team 6 to meet team 9, their meeting point was a cave.
"1st Lt Percival Elrod, Team 6 leader."
"1st Lt Qila Stein, Team 9 leader."
Percival recognised the female who introduced herself, he had seen her at the command centre. The female lieutenant was short, only 1.58 metres with short blond hair and black eyes.
She looked to be in her twenties, but like June and Percival she was still in her teens. The short lieutenant had a serious look on her eyes, but there was a slight nervous light in her eyes that could not be hidden.
"Lt Elrod, I don't want to waste time. I want to attack the attack position, the regular human troops are 30 - 45 minutes away by my estimate. I want to attack the place immediately after they arrive."
"I don't have any thoughts otherwise, lieutenant."
Percival agreed with her approach, thus only some formation plans were discussed between the two for 5 minutes until they were done and no more words were spoken.
Qila's team was like Percival team, they had both civilian recruits and military academy recruits, some of her subordinates were securing the perimeter. Thus she felt it was important to have formation discussions, she wanted to at least have some good coordination between the two teams.
"Sir I will be casting [Air Dome] to scout."
Percival understood Grey's spell after having practised together for a week, the dome had a range that was 30% higher than the awareness range of a tier 2 mage, so it was very useful.
It did not take long for Grey's [Air Dome] spell to pick up the regular troops, but he did not comment because a few seconds later Qila and Percival's awareness picked them up.
"Prepare for combat!"
