"You know", began the woman as she stroked the boys face, "You dont know how lucky you are".
The boy looked up at her confused as the woman continued talking.
"You had parents who loved and cared for you uncontrollably. But even so u hated them. The more u hated them, the more they loved u."
The womans voice began to tremble and tears threatened to spill. But she held it in and stroked his face more.
"Maybe if I hated my parents instead of loving them, I wonder if they would have started caring for me too? Maybe then they'd have looked at me and seen me as their daughter, not just some useless girl".
The woman withdrew her hand as she got lost In her own thoughts.
"M-maybe my l-life *sniff* wouldn't have been so *sniff* h-horrible if I just started hating them, j-just like u did".
The female clutched her aching heart and cried.
"Mabey everything would have been fine, if I was just filled with hatred and not love. Because no matter how much I loved them, no matter how many times I did so many things to please them, I was just a failure in their eyes."
"A useless piece of trash"
The woman released a painful laugh, making the boy flinch.
"But even if I was filled with hatred, I dont think it would have made a difference! It might have made things easier for me, but it wouldn't have made them love me".
Slowly with shaking legs the female got up from her kneeling position. She looked down at the boy with a sad and painful expression.
"I'll always be the child thats unloved and hated by all. That's the way it should be, shouldn't it?"
She tore her eyes away from the boy and gazed out at the sunset.
Her long silver hair was now tainted an inky black color, but their was still a little silver left. And even though it was tainted it still flowed elegantly behind her.
Her face looked of one who had beenĀ through so much in this world, but it still looked beautiful.
Her purple eyes started to glow as the sky grew darker.
Oh what a wonderful piece of art she was.
Even if she was broken beyond compare.
