"Alex! wait for me" A young man shouted while chasing Prince Alexander who was jogging through the palace's corridors.
Prince Alexander was the first and only child of King Henry of Hanson. His mother, Queen Monica, was currently pregnant so it was quite confusing to know if Prince Alex would be the only son or not.
The young man who was calling Alex was John, his personal knight. John was two years older than the 17 years old prince.
"Alexander!" came a loud feminine voice that belonged to Prince Alexander's mother. It was common knowledge that whenever Prince Alexander was called by his full name, it always meant trouble.
Alex's body tensed up.
'What could it be now? he inwardly questioned.
Turning very slowly, Alex turned to meet his mother.
"Yes mother" Alex answered, his voice soft and careful.
"Weren't you supposed to be going hunting with your father?" The Queen asked, holding her waist.
' Shit! I almost forgot ' thought Alex.
"I'll go and get ready mother," Alex said before dashing to his room, followed by his personal knight, John.
When Alex reached his room, he quickly wore clothes that would be appropriate for hunting. Alexander went to the stable, where he mounted his horse, Dash, and rode to the place he was supposed to meet his father.
"You were supposed to have been here 25 minutes ago." complained the King when he spotted his son. Alex rubbed the back of his neck,' Would it be bad if he told his father that he was actually late intentionally?' Alex asked himself.
"I'm sorry father I lost track of time"
Alex lied. King Henry just shook his head, he knew how this son of his could be. Thinking of giving his son a word of advice, the King said," You always have to be on time Alexander. Sooner or later you would come to rule this kingdom." The King patted Alex's shoulder. After some more lecturing, the duo went on to the main plan, Hunting.
Hansonia is a kingdom in the Beni continent. Hansonia's civilization consisted of humans that could use magic, Lycans, and sirens. Long ago, Hansonia was a huge wasteland that no one dared to wonder about. Even plants seemed to be smart enough not to grow there. How could they? When the whole land was dry and unfertile. Hunger and death were what was waiting for all those who dared wonder there.
Regardless of all these, some people still managed to survive over there. Everything changed in Hansonia when a powerful magic user discovered the land and thought of helping the people there. He went by the name, Jack Hanson.
Noticing the loyalty the people showed him, Jack Hanson blessed all the humans who resided in the land and their future generations, magic. He even made the once wasted land, fertile again.
After Prince Alexander and his father, the King came back to the palace after successfully catching two adult deers, they both talked for a while before moving to their different quarters.
Alexander jumped on his bed and sighed.
"What's the matter?" inquired John. He had been with Alex since they were kids so he knew quite a lot about Alex.
"I'm very bored," stated Alex as another sigh erupted from his mouth.
"Why so? I mean you have everything anyone at your age could ask for." John said. He knew that those who lived outside the palace walls did not have it all sunshine and rainbows. He was quite satisfied with his life so far.
Well, who could blame him? Leaving with a sister you love so much wasn't bad ok.
"I know, but I want to experience how life would be outside the palace walls," Alex said looking serious as hell.
John just hoped that Alex wouldn't come up with any insane ideas. He had to remind Alex about his coming-of-age ceremony that was not too far away.
"You still have your coming of age to think about." reminded John.
Alex sighed, Why was life so hard for him. Can't he have some peace? Right now, Alex felt like tugging his hair in frustration.

John was speechless. He heard what Alex said, but he could have sworn that Alex just called his life hard. John wondered how Alex would feel if he was some commoner.
Alex's eyes suddenly lit up. John immediately became alarmed.
"Oh no," John exclaimed inwardly.
"I have an idea!" announced Alex to John's dismay.
'What could it be now?
God, please have mercy on this poor soul' John silently prayed.
Invisible sweats began to form on John's forehead.
