Swiftly landing on his feet, Alex dusted himself. The impact at which he landed caused the air to become dusty.
'Freedom!" internally yelled.
Alex:(*^*)
Alex quickly took his favorite horse, Dash, and galloped away. He met John and Nick at the palace hidden exit. The exit was created long ago so that if there were any sudden attacks, the royal family could easily flee. Alex and John accidentally found it when they were having their usual treasure hunting when he was younger. The good thing about the exit was it lead to the middle of the forest. John, Nick, and Alex quickly changed into the commoner's clothes they had obtained. Alex was about to ride off when Nick stopped him.
"What is it?" Alex asked, a little angry that someone was trying to stop him when he could already smell his freedom.
"You hair and eyes. People would instantly recognize you and call the guards." Nick reasoned. His fear was in fact, very reasonable. Royals have different features from the peasants.
All family members had pitch-black hair with a little blue hue. Their eyes were the eye-catching feature of all. They had gold irises. From generation to generation, all royals shared these same features.
Alex looked at Nick and sighed. He almost forgot about that. Fortunately, he learned a very handy spell. Alex's lips moved like he was talking, but no voice could be heard. Slowly, blue lights began to encircle Alex's hair and face. His formerly black eyes became blonde and his irises began as dark as night itself.
Alex starred at Nick, "Better now?" he asked. Nick simply nodded. He was in a state of shock. He feared that if his eyes widen a little bit more, they would pop out.
Nick :(°_°)
At this rate, Nick feared he would soon become mad from his exposure to such shocking things. He could get a heart attack from all this. 'C'mon I'm still young here. I'm too handsome to die!!!'
Nick quietly cried his frustration.
Alex then galloped away with Nick and John trailing behind him. Getting out of the forest, The trios headed for a town that wasn't too far from the palace. They would have stayed in the Capital city but they thought it was too risky since that place was filled with guards.
John led the gang to an inn that wasn't too expensive. One has to know that they did not want to call unnecessary attention on themselves.
"I want a room with three beds in it" John requested. The girl that was sitting at her father's place couldn't help but admire the beauties before her hair.
'How could such faces exist in this world?'
Nick who noticed the girl looking at him offered her a charming smile that made the girl's heart flutter.
"Y-yes we have a room with four rooms." The girl managed to speak.
"How much for a night?"
"That costs only 500 bronze coins." The girl said. John brought out a pouch from his pocket that jingled. He removed one silver coin and handed it to the girl.
"You can keep the change." Nick suddenly uttered, making the girl's eyes widen in disbelief, 'How could she just make an extra 500 bronze coins.?'
She bowed down severally, trying to portray her gratitude. John quietly stared at Nick. He did not know that Nick liked this kind of thing.
The trio headed to their room. On theirway, the smile on Nicks's face had fallen. He knew what his master's silence meant. He could already see the words, '500 bronze coins is going to be deducted from your pay.' flashing in John's eyes.
Alex starred at the duo before him.
"Why are you guys so silent, it's deafening you know?" Alex broke the uncomfortable silence.
John looked at Alex's smiling face and couldn't resist the urge to smack him.
"Didn't you notice. It seems Nick here has become Santa clause and is handing early Christmas gifts to all the good kids of Hansonia." John said. He wasn't stingy, he just liked to make good use of the resources at his disposal.
Alex patted Nick's back, " Don't mind that stingy guy. That was a cool move." Alex said.
Nick's shoulders dropped down as he relaxed. At least he had the prince on his side.
When they reached their room, Alex quickly went to the he bath cool down.
THE NEXT DAY
Alex woke up the earliest. He was so excited that he literally did not have any shut eye.
[ Nick: Hey you said he did not sleep so how did he wake up first?
Techking: Sigh! Okay you woke up first.
(*-_-)
Nick: (^_^)]
When the trio were ready, they all existed the inn giving the key to the innkeeper. Nick was disappointed that he did not get to meet the girl he saw yesterday again.
"Nick stay here and guard the horses."
John ordered. He did not want any thing to happen to their horses when they were away.
Nick's shoulder slumped down in disappointment. He did not want to watch horses all day whiles they had fun.
"Why do I have to stay? No body would dare still the horse of the Crown Prince." Nick tried to reason. Instead of pesuading John, Nick's words earned him a slap on his back.
"And do they know that the horse belonged to the prince?" John said.
"Ohh, about that. I forgot we were undercover" Nick scratched his neck.
Nick who was about to argue about staying here alone, immediately closed his mouth shut when he saw a group of girls coming. 'Time to make some new friends' thought Nick
Alex and John walked in the market, buying treats from treats. Alex did not want to miss any thing out since he would not get the chance to do so at the palace.
Alex was walking towards another stall but before he could reach there, someone bumped into him.
"Ouch" the person cried as the person can't her self fall down. Fortunately, a strong pair of arms held the person and prevented the person from falling.
Alex looked at the white hair girl before him. Her stunning green eyes were enough to disrupt the rhythm of any bodies heartbeat.
"I'm so sorry." The girl said and quickly put on her hood. Before Alex could say a word the girl ran away.
Alex stared at the direction the I
girl ran away in a daze. How could someone be so beautiful? Alex regretted that she did not even have the time to aske her name he could only cause lady luck for not being on his side.
Lady luck:(-_-)
John turned around and frowned when he did saw Alex staring at the crowd like a dummy.
