Chereads / Let Love Choose / Chapter 8 - 7

Chapter 8 - 7

"What a strange girl" Farel hissed.

Farel rubbed his face and put on a face as handsome as possible to welcome Bella's arrival.

"Morning, Bella..."

"Ehh," Bella was surprised to hear Farel's voice and stopped in front of the man. Bella smiled awkwardly. "Morning, Rel."

"I have food for you, so you don't starve." Farel handed the porridge that Salsha gave to Bella. "You must not have eaten."

"No need, Rel. I already ate at home." refuse Bella.

"But I bought this especially for you. It's a shame if you don't take it." Farel put on a sad look.

Reluctant to refuse, Bella finally accepted the porridge. "Thanks, Rel. But next time there's no need. I always eat breakfast at home."

"But this time eat, yes. I bought this especially for you." Farrell smiled.

Bella smiled back. "Well, then I'll go to class first Bye, Rel."

Farel smiled happily, Bella was willing to accept his gift and for the first time, Bella also said softly and was accompanied by a sweet smile. Bella usually answered curtly every word he said.

"I'm sure soon, Bella will like me."

Salsha entered her class with a happy feeling. Farel, the man she was after received the porridge she brought. There was a sense of pleasure that Salsha couldn't explain. After a long time, Farel finally opened a space for her to enter the man's heart.

"I'm really happy.." Salsha smiled happily while shaking Dinda's arm. "That's great, Din."

"Why are you happy, you?" Dinda frowned and let go of Salsha's hand. "Relax. Don't be silly."

"Just so you know, Farel wants to accept the porridge I bought especially for him. This is the green light for my relationship with him." Salsha said cheerfully.

"Just like that, are you happy? At least Farel accepts it can also finish quickly. Let's quickly get out of his sight."

"Yeee, that's how you are. You can't see my own friends happy." Salsha was jealous, but only for a moment. Then she smiled happily again and turned to look at Aldi who was now focused on his cellphone. "I'm sure that soon I will be with Farel. Sooner or later Farel will accept my presence in his life. And I will prove it to people who pretend to know about my life, if what he thinks is wrong. I can get and date Farel!" Salsha quipped Aldi.

Aldi only smiled faintly in response to Salsha's insinuating words. He didn't react, not even looking at Salsha. He is only focused on the game he is playing.

"Morning, Aldi.."

Bella just got to her class and greeted Aldi. She put the porridge Farel gave him on Aldi's table.

"Morning too, Bel.." Aldi looked away from the cellphone in front of him and returned the warm greeting from Bella. Until his eyes saw the white package. "What is it? Food?

"Ooh, this, Farel gave this porridge to me. He said it was special for me to have breakfast. Even though I had breakfast at home." Bella brought the porridge closer to Aldi. "Just make it if you want. I'm full."

Aldi couldn't help but laugh when he heard Bella's words. How sad is Salsha, the porridge she bought specifically for Farel was even given back to someone else? Aldi tried to suppress his laughter and turned to look at Salsha.

"Farel gave porridge to Bella," said Aldi, humiliating Salsha.

Sasha snorted in annoyance. She turned his face away from Aldi and smiled wryly. She intended to embarrass Aldi for what the man said last night, but instead, she was humiliated.

"This is what reality is called, not as beautiful as expectations. I'm happy that the porridge was received by his uh, even gave it to someone else," said Aldi again.

"Who is this porridge from?" she asked. Aldi just laughed and shrugged his shoulders.

"Bastard!" cursed Salsha in the heart.

"Ald, do you want to go to the basketball court or go to the cafeteria?"

Aldi tidied his books and stood in front of Bella. "What's going on on the basketball court?"

"Basketball kids are practicing, it must be fun," Bella replied with sparkling eyes.

"Basketball practice this afternoon?" asked Aldi. In his previous school, he was also the basketball captain, and he had never practiced basketball during recess like this.

Bella nodded. "In three days there will be a competition between schools. So practice often. Let's win."

Aldi nodded in understanding. "Okay, I'll go with you."

Salsha and Dinda, who were still in the classroom and heard Aldi and Bella's conversation, had a cynical face.

"She said he was watching basketball but she was all tired of the basketball captain. She was shouting incoherently," sarcastically Salsha. She brushed his hair against Bella's face. Really, Salsha is very fed up with everything that has to do with Bella.

"She said she didn't like it, but she still liked to give out codes. If a girl is a hypocrite, yes," replied Dinda. Now she's going to bully Bella.

Aldi sighed seeing Salsha's behavior like a child. Salsha was so childish, she couldn't even position herself.

Aldi grabbed Bella's hand and pulled the girl out. Not to forget, Aldi looked cynically at Salsha.

"If you usually just insult people, it's better if you just shut up. Shame about your age!"

"Bastard! You don't have to interfere!" replied Salsha fiercely.

On the basketball court, Bella looked seriously at the scene in front of her. Her eyes focused on the man who was very good at playing a round ball in his hand. the man is Farel, the school's basketball captain.

It can't be denied that Bella does have feelings for the basketball captain. Bella likes Farel, but unfortunately, she can't be honest about her feelings. She didn't want her relationship with Salsha to heat up.

Meanwhile, Aldi just stared lazily at the basketball game. Aldi is also the basketball captain and he can put on a better show than Farel.

"Farel, cheer up!" shouted Bella. Only on a field like this can Bella express her feelings. She can worship Farel without being noticed by Salsha.

Aldi glanced beside him and saw Bella's shining gaze for Farel. Aldi frowned. He had never seen Bella like this. Usually, the girl looks calm and indifferent when dealing with Farel.

"Come on, Farell cheer up!!!"

"Look, Farel is really good at playing basketball. He's handsome, cool, good at playing basketball. Who doesn't like Farel," Bella said unconsciously. She really admired Farel's figure.

"Including you too?" Aldi raised an eyebrow.

Bella realized, she turned her face to Aldi and shook her head briefly, "Ahh what? What am I talking about?"

"Do you like Farel too?" asked Aldi sarcastically.

"No. The one who likes Farel is Salsha, not me," Bella replied with a faint smile. Then he looked straight ahead again.

The position that was originally standing, is now sitting limp. She realized one fact that Salsha liked Farel, and Bella didn't want to fight with the girl.

In front of him as usual, Salsha approached Farel who was just ready to play basketball with a bottle of cold drink in his hand.

As before, Farel did not receive the drink that Salsha prepared for him. Farel instead walked quickly to Bella and left Salsha holding back her anger.

"Are you watching me too? How do I play? It must be good, right?" Farel asked excitedly.

"It's okay," Bella said nonchalantly. "I'm here to watch Kenzo anyway, not to watch you!"

Farel's face changed drastically. He rubbed his face. It takes extra sacrifice to melt the heart of Bella, a girl who seems indifferent and cold.

"Where are you going after school? Do you want to have lunch with me first?" Farel did not want to lose.

Bella wanted to say yes but seeing Salsha who kept glaring at her made Bella undo her intention. She did not want to open up the opportunity to return to war with Salsha.

"I don't want to and never will!" Bella replied, "How many more times do I have to tell you never to bother me. Instead of you being busy chasing me, you better try to open your heart to Salsha."

After saying that sentence, Bella pulled Aldi's hand to leave the field. In the middle of the journey, Bella's steps stopped. She strongly condemned her cold attitude towards Farel. Acting like she doesn't like it when she likes it.

"You really don't like Farel?" asked Aldi to make sure. Because he saw how the change in Bella's face. Happy, sparkling, to feel guilty. Aldi was sure there was something Bella was hiding from him.

"Pliss, don't talk about it."
