Chereads / Let Love Choose / Chapter 12 - 11

Chapter 12 - 11

Salsha opened the door to her room a little and peeked out, to find out if Aldi was at home or not. Because since the tragedy of Aldi's rebellion earlier, Salsha did not hear the man's voice again.

Salsha came out of her room and closed the door very slowly. Slowly walk into the kitchen. Salsha doesn't want to meet Aldi yet. Surely the man would mock and ridicule him for being too whiny.

"You're finally out."

Salsha was surprised to find Aldi in the kitchen cooking fried rice. Salsha was silent, not responding to Aldi's words. Salsha opened the refrigerator and took the juice from it and poured it into a glass.

"I'm sorry.

Aldi brought a plate of fried rice closer to him, on top of which was a fried egg that was decorated like a smiling person using the sauce. Salsha was silent and looked at Aldi flatly.

"I cooked you fried rice as my apology because I snapped at you earlier," Aldi said slowly and doubtfully.

Aldi kept thinking about how to apologize to the girl. Aldi was never taught to hurt a woman's heart, let alone to make her cry. So, when he saw Salsha's tears, he immediately regretted what he said earlier.

Salsha was still frozen in place. Staring at Aldi and the fried rice alternately. More concerned with her ego, Salsha chose to drink the juice rather than answer Aldi's words earlier.

Seeing the response of Salsha who was silent, Aldi scratched the back of his neck. "You don't want to forgive me?"

Sasha sighed. Aldi's shout was still in his heart, but Salsha also felt wrong for disturbing the man earlier.

"Earlier my mind was in a mess. That's why when you bothered me, I responded by yelling at you." Aldi tried to explain.

Salsha looked at Aldi again. The man's expression felt very guilty, making Salsha want to laugh out loud. A week at home with Aldi, this is the first time Salsha has seen the expression on Aldi's face. Usually, the man is always stubborn and does not want to lose in an argument with him. But this time, the man wanted to apologize to her. Ooh, how sweet.

Sasha sat on a chair at the dining table. Take a spoon and start messing up Aldi's fried rice.

"You're not getting weird here, are you?"

Hearing Salsha's words made Aldi immediately sit in front of the girl. "Nope. Just try it, it'll taste good."

"If it's not good, I don't want to forgive you." Salsha put a spoonful of Aldi's fried rice in her mouth.

"It must be delicious." Aldi was anxious to see Salsha chewing the fried rice.

Salsha chewed her fried rice slowly and looked at Aldi flatly.

"How?" asked Aldi hopefully.

Instead of answering, Salsha ate her fried rice voraciously. Aldi's cuisine is very delicious, it's a shame to miss it.

Aldi lit up when he saw his food being eaten by Salsha. In the end, what he did not end in vain. Sasha wants to forgive him.

"Is my food delicious?"

Salsha stopped her eating activity for a moment and looked at Aldi flatly. "Actually it's not good, but since I'm hungry so I just eat."

Aldi snorted, even though he was sure that Salsha really enjoyed her cooking. "Are you sure it's not good? You really eat it."

"Just appreciate your efforts," Salsha evaded not wanting to admit that Aldi's cooking was delicious.

"You have a lot of styles. Just admit how hard it is, anyway." Aldi started to feel annoyed again.

"You want me to forgive you, don't you?" Sasha threatened.

"So you forgive me, right?" asked Aldi again. His feelings would be relieved if Salsha said yes.

"Excuse me, won't you?" Salsha tapped her finger on her chin.

Aldi was getting annoyed and hit Salsha's head. "You're getting more and more insolent huh."

Salsha stroked her head and glared at Aldi. "You just apologized for doing something wrong again."

"No, I'm sorry for annoying people like you!" Aldi said as he pulled his plate and ate half of the fried rice left.

"Ehh my fried rice," Salsha tried to pull the plate away from Aldi again.

Not wanting to lose, Aldi finished the fried rice quickly. It was enough that he had lowered his pride to apologize to the girl.

"I'm annoyed!" Sasha snorted in annoyance putting on a jealous face.

After finishing the rest of the fried rice and drinking water, Aldi looked at Salsha. "Forgive me, right?"

"No!" replied Sasha quickly.

Aldi chuckled, Salsha's sullen face looked very funny. "I'm not forgiven either. Anyway, I've apologized."

"It really sucks for you to be a boy!" annoyed Sasha. She put the glass firmly on the table.

Suddenly Aldi remembered one thing. With a squinted look, Aldi asked Salsha. "You said Dinda wants to be close to me, why hasn't she chatted with me?"

Sasha suddenly fell silent. She rubbed his neck. She has not given Aldi's number to Dinda. "Maybe she already realized that you're not as cool as he thought."

"Certain?" Aldi couldn't believe it. "Could it be that you didn't give Dinda my number?"

"What are you doing!" Sasha is mischievous. Don't let Aldi know if she hasn't given it to Dinda yet. "I already gave you, why am I holding back your number. It's not important."

Aldi tried to believe what Salsha said. "Alright."

"But, do you really want to meet Dinda? You already have a girlfriend," asked Salsh hesitantly.

"Wouldn't like it if Dinda wanted it," Aldi answered originally. "Intermezzo."

"You bastard!" cursed Salsha while hitting Aldi's arm. "My friend, don't hurt him."

Aldi groaned in pain from Salsha's punch. "To be liked by so many girls is a gift. It's not my fault."

"It's up to you!" Salsha wants to end this useless chat. "Anyway, don't play with Dinda. Just be careful if you hurt her."

After saying that, Salsha left Aldi. It's enough to be in the same place as the man, Salsha doesn't want to be together and talk to Aldi too often.

Helen drank a cup of sweet tea accompanied by Mellina, her best friend. They have been giving their children a chance to get to know each other for a week. Of course, there was doubt in Helen's heart, she was very worried about Salsha's condition.

Living alone with Aldi without a helper and without anyone. Even though she completely trusts Mellina and her best friend's child, Helen still has her own fears. She was afraid that Aldi would be rude and do things out of bounds to Salsha.

"What are you doing, Hel. I think you have another thought," asked Mellina, who had been watching Helen pensively.

Helen looked at Mellina and smiled faintly. "I was just thinking about the kids. How are they doing."

"You don't have to worry anymore. They'll be fine." Mellina tried to calm Helen down.

"But I'm afraid they'll be okay. What if they get into a fight." Helen's fears were clearly felt. "My son is spoiled, she can't do anything. I'm afraid Aldi won't be able to adjust himself later."

"I'm sure they'll be fine." Mellina knows her son. Aldi is the type of person who is responsible, especially after being given a mandate. "If they have a problem that they can't solve, surely Aldi or Salsha will complain to us."

Mellina's words are also true. During this week Salsha never complained badly about Aldi to her. Usually, if something bothers her or makes her uncomfortable, Salsha always complains. Hopefully, Aldi and Salsha's relationship is fine in Jakarta.

"But I'm afraid Mel, what if they still don't like each other," Mellina asked.

"We've given them the opportunity and the opportunity to get close. If in fact they don't feel right, then there's no need to force them," explained Mellina with a smile. "We're just bringing them closer, not forcing them. The important thing is that we've tried, we'll see about the results later, okay?"

Helen nodded. "But I still want to be with you."

"Me too, Hel. I hope that our children will be partners in the future."
