Chereads / Let Love Choose / Chapter 9 - 8

Chapter 9 - 8

"Sal, it seems that Bella also likes Farel. She only sells so much. So that it looks like you are chasing Farel while Farel is chasing Bella. She wants to bring down your self-esteem!"

Salsha rolled her eyes lazily and put the lipstick she just used into her pocket. Even without Dinda telling, Salsha understood this. Salsha knows Bella more than anyone knows the girl. Salsha knows how rotten Bella's heart is.

"I know!" Sasha replied.

"Then why are you silent?" Dinda straightened her uniform.

"Where is the history that I've been silent? You can see that I'm always teasing Bella." Salsha turned her back to the toilet glass. "I should be the one wondering about you. Why are you suddenly teasing Bella? Usually, you don't."

Dinda smiled lopsidedly. "Because now, Bella has won the person I like."

Salsha looked at Dinda in surprise. "Who?"

"Aldi!" answered Dinda quickly. "I'm really in love with Aldi, why can she be that close to Aldi even though she's just met him. Meanwhile, it's really hard for me to be close to Aldi."

Sasha rolled her eyes. The question that lodged in his mind was only what attracted Aldi so that Dinda liked the man so much.

"That's up to you, then."

"That's why you have to help me get Aldi's number so I can also help you bully Bella." Dinda raised and lowered her eyebrows. "We're both lucky, right?"

"I don't promise, okay. I'm lazy to deal with the new student!" Salsha stepped out of the toilet, followed by Dinda behind her.

"Sal, I'm looking for something to eat out. Do you want to come with me?"

Aldi knocked on the door of Salsha's room to invite the girl to look for dinner outside. Aldi knows that Salsha has an ulcer and should not eat late. And in this house, Salsha is responsible.

There is no answer from within. Aldi knocked again on Salsha's room. "Hello, Sal. You want to come, don't you?"

Still no answer from inside the room. If it wasn't for Salsha's parents who told her to take care of the girl, maybe now Aldi would have gone alone and ignored her.

"I'll count to three, if you don't come out, I'll go."

"One!"

Meanwhile, Salsha was focused on playing her cellphone and pretended not to hear Aldi's call. Salsha was still angry and didn't want to speak a word to the man because of yesterday's and this morning's problems.

"Two!"

Sasha covered her ears with both hands. Even though she was hungry, she didn't want to go along with the man.

"Three! You still don't want to go out, do you? Then I'll go alone."

There was no more sound, only the sound of distant footsteps. Salsha closed her eyes, her stomach growled loudly. But she refused to move from his sleep.

Not wanting to maintain her ego, Salsha stood up and walked towards her balcony. Downstairs, Aldi wants to enter the car.

"Eh, Aldi wait! I'm out now!'" shouted Salsha.

Not wanting to linger, Salsha grabbed her jacket and left her room. Maybe Aldi would laugh at him, but Salsha didn't care. The important thing is that the stomach can be filled.

During the journey, silence still fell on them. Salsha didn't make a sound at all while Aldi chatted happily. He was singing, whistling to get Salsha's attention but unfortunately, the girl was still silent.

"What do you want to eat?" asked Aldi.

"Up to you!" replied Salsha indifferently.

"I feel like asking my girlfriend, the answer is whatever. While you are not my girlfriend," Aldi chuckled.

Sasha laughed mockingly. "Oh yeah? funny?"

Aldi laughed, even more, when he saw the expression on Salsha's face. "Seriously, what do you want to eat?"

"It's up to you."

"Fried rice?" asked Aldi.

"I don't want to eat rice. I'll get fat."

"Meatball?"

"I don't want to eat soup," said Salsha again.

"So what do you want to eat?" Aldi started to lose his temper.

"Yes, it's up to you!"

Aldi stopped his car and looked at Salsha sharply. "If you don't want to eat, you better go home, okay? You're not my girlfriend without you telling me what you want, I know right away. Tania doesn't bother making food choices."

"You don't have to compare me to other people. I am me, she is she!" replied Salsha fiercely. One of the things that Salsha hates about Aldi is his comparability. Aldi likes to compare other people, without him knowing that everyone has their characteristics and cannot be equated.

Aldi sighed, trying to contain the anger that was almost overflowing. "Now what do you want to eat, Sal?"

Sasha turned her face forward. "That's up to you. I'll follow you."

After a long debate in the car, Aldi finally brought Salsha to eat sate. Like Salsha's desire not to eat rice and soupy foods.

Both Salsha and Aldi both enjoyed their meal. There was no conversation between the two. Salsha was still reluctant to speak while Aldi was lazy to make small talk with the girl.

Salsha remembers Dinda's request this afternoon to ask for Aldi's phone number. According to Salsha, this moment is the right moment to carry out her intentions.

"Ekheem." Salsha cleared her throat slowly while looking at Aldi. "I want your number please."

Aldi stopped eating for a moment then looked at Salsha. "My number?"

Sasha nodded. "Yeah. Who else do I know here beside you? It's stupid sometimes."

Aldi narrowed his eyes and turned his face towards Salsha. "Why are you asking for my number? Are you in love with me?"

Salsha shuddered in amusement and hit Aldi's head. "God forbid I love you. Dream!"

"Then why do you ask for my number? It must be because you're starting to have feelings for me, right?" Aldi teased by raising his eyebrows.

"Sotoy!" spit out Salsha. "Not for me, but Dinda. Yes, when I start to love you or something with you. Don't dream far away."

"Dinda?" asked Aldi. Sasha nodded. "Your friend whose mouth is eleven twelve with you?"

Sasha nodded again. "I wonder why Dinda likes you. You look normal. It's not cool, right. But Dinda can like you. You use pellets, right?"

"Whatever you say." this time it was Aldi who hit Salsha's head. "I don't use pellets. Yes, girls are indeed fascinated by me. You are too, but you just pretend you're not fascinated. Admit it!"

Sasha laughed mockingly. "Oh yeah? It's a dream, lol! I'm fascinated by Farel, not an obscure guy like you."

Aldi just shrugged his shoulders indifferently and returned to eating the sate in front of him.

"So where's your number?" ask Salsha again.

"Where's your cellphone, let me record it," said Aldi finally. There's also nothing wrong with being friends with Dinda.

Salsha handed her cell phone to Aldi. Aldi typed a few digits on Salsha's cell phone and handed it back to the owner.

Playboys are guys too. Already have a girlfriend in Bandung, close to Bella and now Dinda wants it too. Lizard-stamped playboy, you bastard! Sasha thought.

"Tomorrow I will delete this number," said Salsha.

Aldi did not answer, he focused on eating his satay. Salsha was the same, she returned to eating the satay in front of him. His gaze turned to the front, he saw a pair of lovers who were joking while taking mouthfuls.

With a blank look, Salsha said. "It's good to have a boyfriend. It's normal to be affectionate in public."
