Chapter 26 - Oxygen - Phu and Kao - Part 2

Kao's POV -

"Are you sure about this Kao?"

I turned to smile at my best friend Solo. We'd graduated a month ago and here I was at the airport ready to go to England.

P'Phu had been back to Thailand only a few times, in the past three years, and only for a few days and I missed him like crazy. He video-called four times a week, just like I told him to, but it wasn't enough.

"Yeah, this was always the plan Solo. He lives and works over there, so if I want to be with him I need to be there too," I told him.

"But what are you gonna do for work?" he asked.

"I'll figure that out when I get there," I sighed.

"But …"

"I know Solo, but I want to be with him and this is the only way. You were willing to run away to be with P'Gui weren't you?"

Solo looked at his boyfriend and smiled. When he turned to me he nodded and patted my shoulder.

"Okay, I understand. I won't try to stop you. Message me when you get there."

I nodded and smiled back whilst shouldering my bag. When it was time for me to board, I hugged him before walking away. Although I was excited, I dreaded the twelve-hour flight ahead of me. After flicking through the entertainment list I felt my eyes starting to drift so I decided to fall asleep.

As I drifted, I started picturing what his reaction would be when I show up. Obviously, I hadn't told him I was coming, I wanted it to be a surprise. Though he knew this was always the plan. His serious face would probably only hold a small smile but to me, it would be huge.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are about to land in the UK. Please put your seats in the upright position, stow away your trays and fasten your seatbelts."

My stomach began to rumble as I felt the wheels hit the ground. My legs felt like jelly as I exited the plane and made my way through the crowded airport. When I finally emerged, it was late evening and cold. So fucking cold.

"Where do I go from here?" I sighed.

Quickly, I found a taxi and showed them Phu's address. He'd given it to me so I could send him something for his birthday and for Pham's. Luckily, the driver nodded with a smile, my English was passable but I was too nervous to concentrate on saying the right thing.

I stared out at the dark streets and smiled. I'd only even been to England once and that was when I was younger with Jaa. It felt like stepping into another world, one that was dark, wet and freezing.

Now, on my own, it felt different, like I was finally home. I had no idea what I would do here but I knew no matter what, as long as P'Phu was with me, I could do anything.

When the car pulled up those butterflies I had earlier suddenly froze. Phu was standing outside a huge building, next to a fancy-looking car. A beautiful blonde woman was draped over him, her lips to his and his hands on her waist.

"Are you getting out?" the gruff driver asked.

I shook my head and told the driver to drive off.

"Was that your girlfriend? Or boyfriend?" he asked in his thick British accent.

Sadly, I shook my head and took a deep breath.

"No, I mean … we didn't make it official I guess. I thought we had."

"Long distance thing, eh? Did you talk to each other? Did they know you were coming?" he asked.

"We talked all the time, well when he had free time. I told him before he left I would come to the UK after I graduated. We made a plan. I guess he forgot," I sighed sadly. "I wanted to surprise him so I didn't tell him I was coming."

The driver nodded and took me to a nearby hotel. He said he would only charge me for the original journey. I smiled sadly then waved him off before heading inside.

As soon as the door to my hotel room closed I collapsed on the bed and started to cry. My head and heart ached as I wrapped the sheet around myself.

"I guess he didn't want to wait for me anymore. He said if we could get past the 2 years the answer could be yes, I guess he couldn't get past it."

----

Several hours later, I awoke to the sound of my phone ringing. Groggily, I picked up the phone and then froze. P'Phu was calling.

Instantly, I put it down and turned it over. The ringing continued so I headed for a shower so I wouldn't have to hear it.

When I emerged I'd also had a missed call from Solo. With a sigh, I shut my phone off and climbed into bed. The jet lag and the heartache made me feel like sleeping forever.

When I awoke, it was light outside. I pulled back the curtains and sighed. The city no longer felt like home. Instead, it felt like a strange place, one you don't want to get to know.

"Should I call him?" I spoke to the landscape. "Maybe it's a misunderstanding, like when I saw him with his mother."

I shook my head.

"No, how can I misunderstand? She was kissing him and he didn't push her away."

I growled in frustration and sat on the bed. My phone started ringing again, I could see it was Solo. I sighed as I picked it up.

"You finally answer the phone! I thought you'd been kidnapped or died."

I laughed at my long-time friend. Despite how serious he looks he can be very dramatic, at least with me you expect it.

"I didn't die, I was asleep because of jet lag," I told him with a sigh.

"What happened?" he asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Phu's been calling me, he couldn't reach you," he explained. "I thought you would have gone straight to him. You've been there a few hours already, haven't you?"

"No … erm … it was late and I didn't want to see him after the flight, I looked horrible," I hated lying but I didn't know what to say.

"Ok, well call him so he knows you're ok," he ordered before hanging up the phone.

"How can I call him Solo? He cheated on me and he doesn't want me anymore."

Phu's POV -

His phone went to voicemail again, I sighed as I ended the call. It's been days and I haven't been able to contact him. His cellphone is either always busy or off.

Pham sat next to me and pointed to my phone. I shook my head.

"No, he's not answering or his phone is dead. He's probably busy."

He shook his head at me and pointed to the picture I have of Kao, then to his eye and then to me. I couldn't understand what he meant. He was saying Kao saw me, saw me do what or when?

"Pham, I don't know what you mean," I told him.

Pham rolled his eyes and walked off. I tried calling Kao again, voicemail, so I hung up and called Solo.

"Still haven't gotten through to him?" he asked as soon as he picked up.

"No, his phone keeps going to voicemail. It used to ring but now it doesn't even do that. Has his phone stopped working?" I asked.

"Not as far as I know, I called him the other day and he answered."

He answered Solo's call. Does that mean he's avoiding me?

"What's he doing? I'm planning on coming back to Thailand next week so can you tell him to call me," I asked.

"I haven't seen him in almost a week, and coming here won't help," he told me, making me confused.

Pham came back and put a piece of paper down.

"Why not?" I asked as I looked at the note Pham had written.

"Because he's in the UK."

'P'Kao saw you kissing Lana, he was in a taxi, and then the taxi drove off."

"What!" I asked both Solo and Pham.

"Didn't he tell you already? The plan was always for him to come to you after he graduated, wasn't it? Kao arrived a few days ago."

I hung up and turned to Pham. My eyes were wide as he nodded solemnly at me.

FLASHBACK.

Lana forced her way into my car after the never-ending business lunch. She smirked when I pulled up at my house instead of hers. I should have taken her home but it was late and I wanted to call Kao.

"Well, well Mr. Drake, why have you brought sweet little old me to your home? Do you want to take advantage of my tipsy state?"

"No," I glared and she laughed.

"Oh don't worry, I don't mind if you do. I've wanted to be taken advantage of by you since we met a year ago."

She smirked as she ran a hand down my chest. I instantly brushed it off and pulled out my phone. I called for a taxi and her face fell.

"Oh come on! I seriously don't get you. Why are you playing hard to get? Any man would be lucky to be seen with me," she boasted.

"I'm not playing. I told you I already have someone," I told her.

"Yeah sure, your little lover all the way back in Thailand. Baby," she cooed, stepping closer. "Long distance relationships always fail, one always cheats on the other or both. The separation makes them crave intimacy, I bet they have slept with someone else already. So why not ease the loneliness with me."

She pulled me towards her to the point when I lost my balance and had to grip her hips to steady myself. Her lips pressed to mine and I shivered. Not because I liked the feel but because I was disgusted by it.

Instantly, I pushed her back and she stumbled and fell. She landed with a satisfactory thud on the grass. She glared up at me. Her glare turned to a smirk when I took a step forward and crouched.

Lana smiled as she held her hand out to me, like a princess waiting for a kiss on her hand. I glanced at it before I turned my cold stare onto her.

"My Bunny is nothing like you and you could never compare to him."

I stood and left as she screamed after me.

'Him! How could you do this to me? Phu!"

END FLASHBACK

"Kao saw the kiss?" I asked Pham who nodded. "Did he see me push her off?

Pham shook his head and I groaned. I stood and tried calling him again. Every time, it would go to voicemail, eventually, I decided to leave a message.

'Ball, answer the phone. It wasn't what you saw! Please call me,'

I grunted in frustration and moved to my computer. If he got here a few days ago he must be staying in a hotel nearby. I started calling up all the hotels in the area.

Solo called as I hung up on the fifth hotel that told me they couldn't tell me if the person I was looking for was staying there.

"What?" I grunted.

"I found his hotel, it's the Leonardo Royal Hotel, room 626," he told me before hanging up.

Instantly, I headed out. The hotel wasn't too busy when I arrived. The people at the reception desk wouldn't let me go up so I asked them to call him down, but not to tell him that it was me.

They looked at me confused and I smiled slowly.

"I want to surprise him, he doesn't know I've come to see him."

One of the women squealed a little and nodded. I watched as she called him, telling him that something had been delivered but he needed to come down and sign for it.

She gave me a thumbs-up as she hung up and I moved to where he couldn't see me. When the doors finally opened and he stepped out my heart broke. Kao looked exhausted.

He shuffled to the front desk and the receptionist smiled at him and pointed behind him. I was standing near the elevators so he wouldn't be able to escape. The only other exit was the front doors and since he was only wearing a t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops I doubted he would go that way.

Kao's eyes widened slightly before turning to the same sad bunny eyes he gave me before I left all those years ago.

"Kao?" I asked.

He went to move past me but I stepped in his way. Kao looked like he was going to cry so I pulled him into me.

Kao's POV -

His strong arms wrapped around me and I couldn't help but sigh into him. It felt so good to feel him. I could feel the tears threatening to escape so I pulled back.

"Ball …" he started but I shook my head.

I moved around him and pressed the button for the elevator. He followed me to my room and I reluctantly let him in. I wasn't sure if I should but a part of me was stupidly hoping that I was wrong.

"Ball," he sighed whilst holding my cheek.

His touch was nice, soothing but then the image of him holding that woman made me pull back. P'Phu sighed and put his hand down.

"It wasn't what you think," he told me. "Pham said he saw you. So, I knew you saw Lana kiss me."

"Lana?" I asked.

He was on first-name terms with her, they must be very close.

"She's a business associate, we had a dinner meeting earlier that night and she forced me to give her a ride home."

"You had dinner with her? And took her home?"

My voice sounded so weak but I couldn't help the images flooding my mind. P'Phu and that woman in a dimly lit, romantic restaurant clinking glasses, then going back to his house.

"There were other people at the dinner. It was a business meal. She'd been annoying for a while and that night, as I left she climbed in before I could stop her. She wanted me to drive her home. I didn't know where she lived and I wanted to get home to call you. So, I took her to my house and called her a taxi."

"But you …"

"She kissed me, she was telling me she wanted me and I told her I had someone else. She claimed you were cheating on me so I should do it too. Lana wasn't happy when I called the taxi so she pulled me to her. I pushed her off me the minute I got my balance back."

A flutter of hope was filling my heart but I didn't want to fan the flames just yet.

"You were holding her waist, and it looked like you were kissing her back."

"I held her waist so I didn't fall on top of her on the floor. I lost my balance and I didn't kiss her back. If you'd stayed a moment longer you would have seen me push her away. She landed on the floor and wasn't happy."

P'Phu took my hand and I managed a smile. I trusted him and I knew him. He wouldn't do that, I'm the only person he has ever, besides his family, allowed to be near him.

"Ok, I believe you. I'm sorry I thought ..."

P'Phu didn't let me finish. He playfully pushed my forehead.

"P'!" I called out, rubbing my head.

"Why did you think I would cheat on you?" he asked.

"Well, I …" I wasn't sure how to say it.

So, I closed my eyes and took a moment to really think. Why did I think he would cheat on me? Why was I so worried?

"I think because I know I can be annoying and you've been busy. You always said that if we could get past the 2 years then the answer to if you felt the same for me and that we could be together would be a yes. So when I saw this beautiful woman who looked great with you, I guess I thought that maybe you found someone better suited for you."

P'Phu pushed my head again and shook his head at me.

"When have I ever said you were annoying? I told you that I would be waiting for you."

I nodded. Of course, I knew that. I could feel my cheeks starting to heat up so I ducked my head and rested against his shoulder. I could feel his hand patting my head.

"Come on, let's go home," he chuckled and I sprung up with a smile.

It didn't take me long to gather my things. The woman at the main desk gave me a knowing smile as she checked me out. I blushed even harder.

P'Phu drove us to his house and my nerves began to kick in. I'd met his mother briefly, saw and talked to his brother, so to speak, on a video call, but I'd never met his dad.

"Will your family be ok with me here?" I asked.

"Yes, Pham's been wanting you here for a long time. So does my mother and my father wants to meet you," he told me.

"What? He does? Why?"

"He says he wants to meet the man that's made me let my guard down," he chuckled.

I smiled and my nerves eased a little. So his family liked me in some way, that was a good sign.

Slowly, I followed him through the house and he showed me to a large bedroom. It looked bigger than P'Phu's condo.

"P', whose room is this?" I asked.

"Mine," he smirked.

I nodded and looked around. My hands touched a few frames on the side and his computer. I stopped at a frame of me he'd clearly painted.

"Where will I be sleeping?" I asked.

"Here."

When I asked, I was facing the bed, the minute he answered I spun around and looked at him wide-eyed. He stood looking stoic as usual with just a hint of a smirk.

"What?" I gasped.

"I said this is your room," he repeated.

"I thought this was your room, where will you sleep?" I asked nervously.

"It is and I'll sleep here too."

I looked back at the bed and when I pictured us sleeping side by side I could feel my cheeks burning and my body tingling. My dick jerked a little at the idea and I excused myself to the bathroom.

I panted as I willed my body to cool down. Once I felt like I was more in control of myself I went back out. P'Phu was already sitting on the bed waiting for me. Nervously, I took a seat next to him.

Phu's POV -

I smirked when he raced off to the bathroom. He was always the more forward one but I don't think he expected this. Since we've been together for over three years it only makes sense to share a room, right?

At least that's what my mother said. When she asked about where Kao would live once he came over, at first I had said I would buy him a place to live but she had raved annoyingly about me being a prude or something.

She demanded that, at the least, he should live with us, and if I was not ready when he arrived then he could have his own room. The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to wake up with him next to me. To go to sleep with him in my arms.

My smirk softened into a smile as I sat down and waited. It didn't take long for him to come out. I watched him as he fiddled with his shirt next to me. He looked really cute when he was nervous.

"Kao," I made him jump. "You can have your own room if you aren't ready."

He gripped my hand quickly and shook his head. I chuckled and flicked his forehead. He pouted at me. My eyes flicked to his lips and I wanted to feel them.

Over the years I'd only ever kissed his forehead. I wanted to do more but I didn't, just in case he did do what I originally asked him to do all those years ago …

If you think it's exhausting then forget me. No need to text, no need to look for me. Forget you ever liked someone like me and move on

… I thought it would be better to not know. However, here he was, he stuck to his word, and he came to be with me. Now he was here in my room and I wanted to feel him.

I leaned towards him and his eyes widened before he leaned forward. My lips pressed against his very lightly but it sparked something inside. I pressed harder against him and gripped his head.

Our mouths moved against each other gently at first until his tongue swept across mine. I growled into his mouth and pushed him back. His arms wrapped around my waist.

Suddenly, we both froze. A loud knock boomed through the silence before we heard the door open. We both shot up just as my little brother came into the room. His face lit up as he saw Kao.

Pham ran to him and Kao opened his arms. I smiled at the pair. It was clear my brother loved Kao and the feeling was mutual.

Pham ended up pulling us out for dinner. He finally got to meet Father and my Mother even showed up. It was nice to have everyone I cared for under the same roof.

---

Later that night, I sat in bed waiting once again for Kao to come out of the bathroom. He'd instantly rushed off once we entered the bedroom. I laughed wondering where the confidant bunny went that stopped at nothing to pursue me.

"P'Phu?" he was standing by the bed.

I pulled the sheet over and smiled. Slowly, he climbed in and pulled the sheets right up to his chin. I chuckled and lightly pushed his head.

"P'Phu!" he called out rubbing his head.

I pulled the covers away and he called out again. Then he fell silent as I leaned over him. His wide eyes stared up at me.

"You're finally here," I whispered, stroking his cheek.

His head came up to hold my wrist as he leaned into my hand.

"I'm here P'Phu.'

Eyeing his lips, I leaned down and kissed him. He gasped against me and I pressed harder. Kao moaned underneath me and I could feel my body start to stir. With a growl, I pulled back and looked down at him.

His face was flushed and his eyes were glazed. I could see he was feeling just as affected as I was.

"Ball, I …" I was lost for words.

I had no idea how to tell him I wanted to ravish him, I wanted to make him mine.

"I know P'Phu, me too."

I claimed his lips and moved so that I was fully covering him. His body opened up as he wrapped his arms and legs around me. I could feel his erection rubbing against my own.

Kao moaned and started to rub against me. The friction felt amazing but I wanted to feel him without anything in between us. So, I pulled back and yanked my shirt off. Kao sat up and did the same.

Soon, we were both kneeling in front of each other bare. I had a glimpse of his body when he'd been beaten and when we went swimming but it's been so long. My eyes hungrily raked over him and I smirked when his cock jerked.

"P'Phu!" he whined.

Slowly, I reached out and traced a path down his neck, chest and abdomen. He writhed under my simple touch and I smirked.

"Touch me!" I demanded.

Kao's eyes glazed over slightly before he visibly shivered. Then he gripped my shoulders and pushed me down so I was laying on my back. He straddled my waist and my cock was trapped in between us and the pressure was amazing.

He slowly started rotating his hips and I grunted. With one of his thrusts upwards, my cock ended up standing up rubbing against his cheeks. Kao moaned as my cock slid against his hole.

"P'Phu!" he moaned. "I want you inside me!"

"Fuck!" I called out. "I don't have any …"

Kao smirked down at me.

"I do!"

He lifted off me and went to his suitcase. I watched fascinated as he pulled out a big bottle of lube and several condom packets. I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I didn't know your size so I bought medium, large and extra large just in case," he eyed my cock. "Extra large it is."

I smirked at him as he climbed back on the bed. My eyes followed his hands as he ripped open the condom packet and slowly gripped my erection.

His soft hand pumped me a little before he rolled the condom on me. I groaned at the feel of his hand. He continued to stroke me as he applied some lube first to my cock and then to his ass

I watched transfixed as he brought his arm around himself and slowly rubbed.

"Turn around, I want to see," I growled.

Kao did as he was told and I watched two of his fingers slowly rubbing around his puckered hole. Koa groaned when he eventually slid one of his digits inside. I growled at seeing how easily he worked himself up.

"Did someone do this to you?"

Kao's POV -

I smirked as I looked back at him. As I spoke I added another finger.

"No one, P'Phu. I've done this to myself. I wanted to be ready for you when we finally got together properly. I even bought a dildo just so I could pleasure myself."

P'Phu moaned and grabbed my arm. He pulled me around and towards him and attacked my mouth. It felt forceful, powerful and possessive and I loved it. Whilst he kissed me I moved my leg over and got into position.

With a gasp, I pulled back and sat up. His usually passive eyes held such lust in them that it excited me even more. I took a deep breath to calm myself down, if not I was going to blow before we even started.

I reached behind me and guided his thick cock into my hole. His cock head pushed against my opening and I moaned. P'Phu was wider than my toys but the pain soon faded as the pleasure took over.

P'Phu thrusted up slowly as I rotated my hips. Bit by bit he inched further into me with each thrust until he was entirely inside me. His hands on my hips gripped tightly as I rode him.

The pleasure built up at the base of my spine. The feeling of him inside me was more than I could have imagined.

"Touch me P'!" I begged.

Instantly, he gripped my cock and stroked me. He matched my thrusts perfectly.

"I'm close!" I moaned.

"Me too!" he grunted.

Soon, our movements were jerky and frenzied. Pre-cum leaked out of my tip as fire raced through my body.

"I'm gonna cum!"

We both called out at the same time as cum shot from my cock and his hips slammed up into me so violently I almost fell forward.

He jerked up into me a few more times and he pulled every last bit of cum out of me. When I was finally able to breathe properly again, I opened my eyes and looked down at him.

My cum glistened in the light on his abs, chest and even on his neck. He panted underneath me and smiled softly. I smiled back and leaned down to kiss him.

P'Phu rolled us onto our sides where he slowly pulled out. He sat up and walked to the bathroom. I watched his bare ass clench as he moved and could feel myself getting excited again.

When he came back he was clean and the condom was removed. A towel was in hand and I smiled as he slowly cleaned my body. Once he was done he climbed back into bed next to me and wrapped me in his arms.

"Goodnight P'Phu," I whispered sleepily.

"Goodnight, my little ball!"

---

A month later.

I sighed and rubbed my fingers as I braced the cold. The streets were busy as I waited outside my office building. P'Phu's mother had helped me get a job as a music engineer at a well-known recording label.

Though I missed performing I did enjoy creating music. Everyone was friendly and had a good laugh. I missed Solo, Jedi and P'Gui but we video-called as often as we could.

Every night, I would get home before P'Phu and I would be patiently waiting for him like his faithful little bunny. Thankfully he rarely worked late and he would tell me when he was.

Pham was opening up to me a little more each day, I was sure one day, maybe not soon, but one day he would speak again.

I jumped as a car beeped before pulling up. P'Phu wound the window down and smirked at me. I rushed in and instantly leaned into the heaters. He chuckled as he drove off.

I noticed we weren't going home. When I turned to him he smirked but said nothing. I shrugged my shoulders and leaned back in my seat, happy to go anywhere with him.

We pulled up outside a fancy restaurant. I gave him a quizzical look. He smiled and got out.

"P'?" I asked, getting out too.

P'Phu moved to the boot and pulled out one of those suit bags. He handed it to me and pointed to the door.

"I have a work gathering, you're going to be my date."

It took me a while to get changed, mainly because my nerves were kicking in. I didn't want to embarrass him at his work event but it meant a lot that he wanted me with him.

When I eventually came out, he smirked at me as his eyes raked down my body. I was only wearing a simple black suit with a crisp white shirt. He looked far more handsome, with a pale blue suit that fit him perfectly.

"Do you remember that woman you saw?" he asked as he reached for me.

It took me a while to figure out who he meant. When I did, my eyebrows shot up.

"The one I saw kissing you? She's here?" I asked.

P'Phu nodded and took hold of my hand. We walked into a reasonably large banquet room. There were many beautiful women and handsome men scattered around talking in small groups.

A few men came up to P'Phu and he introduced me as his boyfriend. I was surprised when they would greet me warmly even the women were excited, possibly even more.

I managed to slip away and stood outside on a small patio-type area. The cool breeze was now soothing because the inside had become too suffocating.

"So you're the one."

I turned to see a beautiful leggy blonde standing with her hip jutted out one arm across her waist and a glass in the other. She looked me up and down as if she was sizing me up.

"Do I know you?" I asked.

"No, I suppose you don't but then again you're a nobody."

"Who the hell are you," I sighed.

"Oh forgive me, I forgot to introduce myself, how silly. I'm Lana DeGrey, Phu's fiance," she smirked.

I started to laugh and she looked at me with a pissed-off expression. She must not have expected me to react that way.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes!" she growled at me, losing her cool.

Phu's POV -

"It's so nice to meet Kao," Mrs Jones smiled. "He seems like a nice boy."

She was one of my father's business associates' wives. She also worked alongside her husband and attended many of these events with him. She always fussed over me about finding a partner.

At first, she had insisted on pairing me with Lana, but thankfully after meeting her Mrs Jones instantly warned me off. She was pleased when I told her I had a partner back in Thailand and that he would soon be moving here with me.

"Thank you," I smiled back.

"You make sure you don't lose him," she warned playfully with a wiggle of her finger.

I nodded and decided I was going to go find him. He had excused himself to the bathroom but that was a while ago. I noticed a patio door open so I decided to check it out. Knowing Kao he would have gone outside.

"I'm Lana DeGrey, Phu's fiance."

I turned at Lana's voice and saw her standing with Kao. I took a step forward but paused when he laughed at her.

"Really?" he asked wiping away a tear

"Yes," she demanded.

I stood back and waited, watching as Kao composed himself.

"When did he propose? Where's the ring?" he mocked.

Lana hid her ring finger behind her back.

"It's only a matter of time. I've been working on him for a year. So whatever it is between you two, it's just a passing phase. Take it from me, he's never serious about anyone."

"Oh, I'm not a passing phase to him. I've known him a lot longer than you have sweetheart."

"What do you mean? You've only been with him a month," she asked.

I wasn't surprised she knew that, but Kao obviously was. His eyebrows rose slightly.

"How do you know that?" he asked. "Wait … nevermind it doesn't matter."

Kao took a step closer to her.

"I met him at university in Thailand. I got together with him long before he came here to study and work. I still had a few years of school to go myself but we made plans. As soon as I graduated I was going to move over here with him and he would wait for me."

He smirked at her.

"Well here I am and since he's brought me to this thing as his date, then that would suggest he waited. He's holding my hand in public, he's telling everyone I'm his boyfriend, I even live with him. Has he done any of that with you?"

Deciding I had enough, I walked over and instantly pulled him in and kissed his lips as I turned to her. Her wide eyes turned into a glare.

"Phu, who is this? How could you embarrass me like this? Everyone knows we're together, my father will …"

"Will what?" I asked, interrupting her. "No one here thinks we are together. Your father doesn't entertain your stupidness when it comes to me, and he's not stupid enough to stop business with my father simply because you can't get me."

Her angry glare moved to Kao before turning back to me.

"But Phu, don't you remember," she asked as she took a step forward and touched my chest. "That night a few weeks ago. You took me to your home, we kissed and …"

She trailed off and smirked at Kao, who smirked right back.

"Is that the night I arrived?" he asked me. "When she kissed you and you pushed her away and she fell flat on her backside before you walked off?"

I nodded and smirked. Lana glared at us and stamped her feet like a child.

"Mark my words, little boy, he'll grow tired of you and then I will have him."

"No, you won't," he kissed me on the lips, as if marking his territory.

She stopped her stomping.

"If I'm not with Kao then I won't be with anyone else. He's the only one that has and will ever be in my heart. Kao knew things about me and chose to believe in me instead. He pushed through my walls and showed me how it feels to be loved by someone. You could never compare to that."

I then turned my back to her and stood in front of Kao. He watched her but my eyes remained on his. When he looked up at me his eyes were filled with tears and love. Gently, I stroked his cheek and smiled.

"My little ball."

"My P'Phu!"
