2 years, after the events of the house of Morrisson and Evelyn became the duchess of Canterbury, after marrying Matthew who took back the title as the duke of Canterbury. Maggie was promoted as a maid and started adjusting with her life with her aunt and sister.
While living her days, she continued to search for Maggie's real parents; after the original Maggie gave her the location of her mother's letters, she went to find them. and went to the orphanage to get Maggie's papers She checked and discovered that she is, in fact, the baron's daughter. She was relieved that one piece of the puzzle had been solved, but it was difficult to figure out who the baron was. After finishing her work for the day, she notices Evelyn in the kitchen baking a cake for the Duke and hears her singing, which sounds familiar. It wasn't English, but something familiar that shocked her.
"You speak Japanese!" said Maggie
Evelyn shocked turned to her, "Huh, you heard me singing"
Maggie comes close to her, "How do you know Japanese. It's impossible for you to speak the language"
"I just listened from one of Matthew's music disks from the music box" said Evelyn panicking
She jumps to her, " Don't lie, you were singing one of sailor moon's opening songs, like that song existed during 2000's"
Evelyn was shocked to see Maggie telling that, her eyes widened, "Are you perhaps a reincarnated person?"
"Yes, were you also reincarnated?" she questioned
As they looked at each other, they screamed which alerted the people
"Good heavens, what happened?" said Mary, one of the maids who heard them screaming came as fast as she could
"Nothing Mary, I think we saw a rat right here" said Evelyn
"Yes, a big rat" chuckled Maggie
"My I asked Jerry to set up traps, but he didn't do it, I'll go and complain" said Mary as she left
As she left, both looked each other and smiled. Later at the duchess suite, both sat for tea, to discuss their previous life -------

"Masuyama Yuna" replied Maggie
"The famous Kimono designer?" said Evelyn
"Yes, I'm surprised that you know me" said Maggie
"I was a client of one of your designs at my company" said Evelyn as she sips the tea and continues. "My name was Aoi Hamada, a Manager of a textile industry, I died while getting drunk and fell into the construction site, I know its funny"
"No.. I too died in an accident while driving" chuckled Maggie
"So it seems both of us died by accident" smiled Evelyn, "I was given a second chance to revive myself and start living my life, but I was warned by the goddess not to lose my time working too much, but I did not listen and continued my work lasting me in a heart stroke which ended me, so now I'm Evelyn"
"Oh that's a lot" said Maggie
"What about You?" inquired Evelyn
"After I died, I became a queen called Selene and married a fallen prince, but even though I was a queen, the king had an affair with a girl and was wrongly accused and was executed and now I'm here as Maggie. I want to take revenge but I don't know how?" said Maggie
"That's sad to hear," said Evelyn
"The worst thing is I have been reborn to the time where the king is still alive in this era"
"What really" said Evelyn
"Yes, I wanted to know who framed me, I haven't touched or spoken to the baroness but I don't know or maybe the prince wanted revenge for destroying his kingdom and invaded mine and falsely was accused killing me"
"So don't you want to avenge the queen and take back your kingdom" said Evelyn
"I wished I could go and confront them and kill them, but I don't have the power"
"Would you like me to hire some soldiers to join and fight against that traitor" said Evelyn.
"I would like to get my revenge, but I had second thoughts, that if I were to go against a king who not only was a traitor but also a good swordsman and strategist" said Maggie
"But the duke also has won many wars too, if I have a talk…."
"no, Thank you for the offer but I cannot accept as lives will be lost, and I want to forget that life and concentrate with this life by finding this person's family" said Maggie
After explaining the previous body's aim, Evelyn understood as Maggie gave the letters of the original body's mother.
"I will help you find him" said Evelyn
"Thank you so much Duchess," said Maggie
"To others call me Duchess but between ourselves call me Aoi" said Evelyn
"Okay, then call me Yuna" replied Maggie
As the two enjoyed they're evening, Lady Linda and also Maggie's aunt came into the room
" So there you were Maggie, Piper was finding you everywhere. Go and help her" said Linda
As she saw the letters in the table, she was shocked to see the writing, "My lady, may I see these letters"
"Of course, Lady Linda, do you know the writer of this letter" said Evelyn
She shook, "This belongs to Maggie's mother"
"You know my mother ?" said Maggie
"Yes, your mother was a maiden in the orphanage and a waitress in the tavern and used to take care of the children" said Linda "How did you get these"
Yuna can't reveal her true identity gave a story "I had a dream of my mother and she told me to find the letter from the orphanage to find my father"
"Oh heavens, after all these years, you finally found evidence that you the daughter of the baron," said Linda
"Do you know the reason why Maggie's father left her mother" Evelyn inquired
"Not exactly, but during her time at the orphanage, she lived as a hard-working mother taking care of you, she didn't speak much but always mentioned the baron and how the two were separated when the war broke" Linda explained to her
"I see," said Maggie
Seeing Maggie sad, Linda hugs her, "Don't worry child, your mother is always there in your heart. All you need is thrust"
"I also will help with all my might in finding the baron" said Evelyn
As Evelyn promised Maggie in finding her family, messengers and lords were send to acquire the baron and in few month with the duke's help, they finally found a letter sent from City Of Jaybridge.
As she checked, she found that she is really the daughter of the baron. Tears came rolling to Maggie as she found out the original body's parents.
" Thank You so much, Duke and Duchess, I'm at your debt" said Maggie.
" It's fine, your my sister, and I'll always be there to help" teared Evelyn as she hugged Maggie.
" This calls for a celebration " said The Duke
" It sure does, and all present in the house will attend not as staff but as guests" said Evelyn
" Thank You for the offer, but it's too much" said Maggie
" Nonsense, we will be missing you and for your last farewell, we need to give a proper goodbye" said the Duke
" True," said Evelyn
" Thank You, Duke and Duchess," said Maggie as she bowed
" No worries, but I have a request," said Evelyn as she blinked
As days passed, the day before Maggie's departure, the Duke of Canterbury hold a grand reception with all the people and staff of the house of Canterbury with scholars and members of the Canterbury estate dressed grandly , even the maids and butlers were dressed nicely.
At the party, Piper along with others including Aunt Linda stood waiting for Maggie
" Where is that girl " said Anne
"I heard that she was called by Evelyn to help her with something" said Maria
" I hope the party means everything to her" said Piper
" I hope she'll be happy" says Linda
As the guests enjoyed, they heard the trumpets as they announced The Duke and duchess. As everyone saw Evelyn, they saw Evelyn in silk-like gown which admired the ladies
As they entered, Duke Matthew announced the new noble, Maggie entered as they opened the doors and came out too in stylish Kimono silk-like gown which was more prettier than the duchess as everyone admired her beautiful dress. As the party started, the Duke offered her the first dance by Evelyn's request which made Maggie shy.
After the dance, everyone crowded Evelyn and Maggie
" My, where did you get that dress" said a lady
" It's from Miss Devon " said Maggie
" The famous designer of Venice" said the others
" Yes,but did you know who designed" asked Evelyn
Everyone was confused, and with a smile Evelyn pointed on Maggie.
" What Maggie designed it" said Piper
" wow" said Maria
" she is truly gifted" said Evelyn as she hugs her
" It nothing, I really showed some sketches" Said Maggie
" Nonsense, this is a masterpiece" said Lady Devon as she joins the conversation , " You are truly gifted, I have got many requests from the people in this party, Thanks to you"
" Thank you Lady Devon" said Maggie
As the lady left, everyone congratulated her as Aunt Linda kissed her to her forehead. As they enjoyed, the messenger announced the upcoming guest which gave a shock to Maggie.
"Announcing the empress and the young prince of Arenville" announced the messenger
As the empress entered with her son, Maggie started to tremble, as it is non other than Cosette who now looks older and next to her is the traitor's son who is off ten to eleven years old.
The duke and Evelyn went forward to greet her while Maggie stayed hidden behind Aunt Linda
"Are you okay dear" said Linda
"Yes… I feel sick, can I leave" said Maggie
Before she could leave, The duke called Maggie to present herself to the empress
Maggie gulped in fright thinking of the traitor and the woman who destroyed her kingdom, her eyes were aiming at the knight's sword, but in Infront of the empress lies her guards.
She could not do anything but face the woman who ruined her life, " Your Majesty, My name is Maggie, the lost daughter of the baron of Cunningham, It's a pleasure meeting you"
The empress gave a smile and spoke, " My, what a beautiful girl you are, I'm so glad that you finally found your parents, if you need any help, please send in a letter"
"Yes, your majesty," said Maggie shaking
Evelyn saw Maggie shaking and looking frightened and went to her. "Your majesty, my condolences, Maggie looks ill, would you give your permission to let me escort her"
"Please do, I'll wait for your next visit once you're settled," said the empress
"Yes, your majesty," said Maggie as she left with Evelyn and her friends
As she was escorted to her room, she gasped and started breathing heavily. Maria soon gave her water to drink
"Are you okay?" asked Maria
"yes," said Maggie, she looks to everyone and says,"If you don't mind, could you all step outside for a bit, as I need to speak with big sister Evelyn"
"sure love," said Linda as she and the girls went out
"Are you alright?" said Evelyn as she rubbed her back
"it's her!"
"Who?" inquired Evelyn
"The traitor's mistress, Cosette," said Maggie
"The Empress is the traitor's wife"
She nodded
"I was close in raising the sword and killing her, but I want the blood of that traitor" said Maggie in rage
Evelyn looking at her, hugged, "Please don't create a scene, you told yourself you don't want to deal with your past"
Tears start rolling towards her as Evelyn embraces Maggie
As she wiped her tears, she holds her and tells, " Your life had a sad ending but now the goddess of reincarnation has given you a new beginning and it's up to you"
"You're correct, I must live my new life and celebrate every moment from now on" said Maggie
Evelyn hugs her and speaks, "By the way, I want to tell you good news"
"What?" inquired Maggie
"The Traitor you speak off, he died years ago due to illness after as said when a kingdom fell and that means you," said Evelyn
"What? how ?" inquired Maggie
"I heard from the rumors; The emperor died just as the young prince turned four with a deadly cut from the war which couldn't be cured since then the empress was in charge of the court until the prince turns fifteen"
"I see" said Maggie with sigh of relief stating that Estephen deserves what he has done and that the gods have heard her prayers.
"I don't know whether it was punishment or illness, I hope you have fulfilled your revenge," said Evelyn
"No, the empress still lives. But I don't mind. I'm Maggie and not the former empress, so I need to live a life of my own" said Maggie standing up
"That's the spirit" said Evelyn as she hugged her
Maggie smiled as now she has got a life and wants to live a peaceful life rather than thinking of her past. She started enjoying her night just days before she leaves to her real family.
