Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

Maggie began to feel at ease with her family after five years. Maggie began living as a volunteer in the orphanage, supplying all of the supplies for the children, and she also spent most of her time assisting the priest at the nearby church, becoming pious in religion and telling stories to the children that she read in the library. Her beauty drew the attention of the town's men, making some females envious, but they adored her for her kindness since she not only assisted the church but also frequently assisted the baker or dressmaker in exchange for recompense.

Though she lives happily, she still thinks about the empress and her previous life's kingdom, as well as how the people of Kreronada live, but as she hears gossip, she decides not to get involved in those matters and instead live her life as the baron's daughter, marrying a good husband and starting a family.

Maggie arrives home after a long day at work and begins preparing the evening meal. Despite the fact that she lives as a noble, the Cunninghams are poor aristocrats, with the baron working for a tea trading company and the baroness teaching at a school. Despite the fact that they are not nobility, the family has a serene existence because to Maggie. She finds her brother outside the house, sitting in the garden, and she goes to check on him. As he observes the fountain, she goes to see him.

"What are you doing there, Henry?" she inquires of him

" Oh, my goodness! "You've returned, sister," he says as he waves. Her facial expressions varied as she got closer. When he notices her face becoming enraged, he begins to run as she begins to pursue her.

"Stop right there!" Maggie sobs as she runs after him.

Henry tries to flee, sweating, and suddenly gets his breath and sits down for a few moments, but not before she catches up with him.

Henry screams, "Leave me, sister," and is flicked across the forehead.

"Woah, that hurts."

Maggie carries Henry when she sees an angry Maggie, which embarrasses him.

"Sister let me down," Henry lamented.

"You are delicate and ill, don't go out as you want," Maggie whispered as she led him to his room and forced him to rest. She rolls up her sleeves and washes his face with a hot towel.

As he tries to stop her, Henry shouts, "Hey, stop that, you're embarrassing me."

Maggie laughs as she sees Henry's cheeks get crimson and hugs him before placing the blanket over him.

"Right? It's time for you to retire to your bed, Henry. Your fever hasn't gone down since yesterday." Maggie smiled as she lovingly stroked her ill younger brother Henry's cheek.

Maggie carries Henry when she sees an angry Maggie, which embarrasses him. "I'm fed up with sleeping." Henry's cheeks ballooned up. "Come now, if you say that, you will not be served dinner." Keep in mind that I bought the nicest fish I could find in the market today and cooked your favorite dish." "What!? Fish that has been smoked? That's fantastic!! Dinner is going to be fantastic!" Henry was taken aback.

Maggie snatched her younger brother, who was bouncing around in a raggedy pajama.

A new life, a new environment, a new name, and a special little brother. That was the only thing she got after her ninth reincarnation.

Maggie reasoned that, since Henry was sick, it would be inconvenient if he exerted himself, yet he was so cute. His constitution would undoubtedly become stronger as he grew older. Above all, he was the eldest son of the destitute baron, who would later inherit the baron's business. As a result, if he becomes the future head of Cunningham, he will never be a bad owner like in stories and will have a good life.

She is afraid that when Henry is older, he will be summoned to the capital, and that the kingdom of should not be involved in her town because she has seen many people start following the prince, who is the traitor's son and is married to the priestess whom people admire and who is told that she is a miracle who helps people get healed, and she is afraid that the family will take him there to be healed, which makes Maggie afraid to enter the kingdom. Maggie, on the other hand, was no longer the queen. It shouldn't make a difference if the empress or her son, the prince, fell.

After all, she was merely a Baron's daughter. She wouldn't be invited to beautiful balls or other opulent occasions. Her erudite father, who would spend every day burying himself in work, was an outlier in aristocratic society.

Maggie didn't have the requisite funds to customize a dress, even if she tried to make her social debut at the age of 17 as per society's rules, because she was a designer and could make her own gowns. But it didn't matter. Maggie had made the decision to live comfortably in her area while caring for her younger brother.
