Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

"OK, Lady Amelia, please say 'aah'..." Maggie said as she fed the lady

After three months, Amelia began to live quietly with the baroness. Maggie fed Amelia a scoop after adjusting the heat of the Barley Porridge to just the correct temperature.

For a brief moment, she mistook Henry for the woman she was serving Henry. In truth, the girl in front of her was a princess while she was a lowly baroness!

The princess rushed around like a tiny kid her age, and Maggie had to chase her. While running, Amelia stumbled and injured her head. Her eyes widened and she burst into tears.

"Ah, ah, my apologies!" "Lady Amelia, please forgive my impudence!" Maggie apologized.

Amelia shook her head as Maggie kneeled, still holding the bowl and spoon.

"No, I'm not upset with you... It's just... "I recalled my nanny."

"Your Nanny?"

"Mum's maid"

"Oh, I see" "my nanny who looked after me was mocked by everyone in the royal palace, yet she was still very kind to me..."

In truth, she did hear that the lady was being cared for by the priestess maid, but she died of illness, which upset the small girl. But, now that she was her maid, she would never break a promise.

Maggie hurriedly placed the spoon on the table and wiped the tears from Amelia's cheeks with a handkerchief.

"I'm sorry, Big Sis. After my mother died, all the goods in this palace that could be converted into money were taken away. Merchants would occasionally supply food and other supplies, but before I knew it, they had vanished."

"Oh no!"

"You've been so nice to me, Big sis, but I don't have anything to thank you for..."

"Guwaaahh—!!"

Maggie knelt on the floor and gazed up at the heavens this time. She wanted to spit curses all over the place, remembering what they had done to a poor nine-year-old girl. She believed that the king and queen should have a convoluted fracture over their entire body and be in excruciating pain.

Maggie stared forward while holding Amelia's shoulder.

"Don't worry, Amelia. This big sister will always be on your side. I may be dirt poor, but I'm confident enough that I can grant anything you wish for using my own hands!"

"Anything…?"

"Yes, watch this!"

Ally raised her hands and began casting her hands and made some cookies for the child which she enjoyed

" This is very delicious big sis"

"I hope you liked it because I have a gift"

"A gift?" Amelia questioned.

Maggie raised her hands and chanted, "Oh goddess, hear my prayers, reveal your abilities, and send your spirit to help the weak!"

A light shot from her palm, revealing a little shape that swirled and gradually took on the appearance of a person.

The strength of magical power increased with bloodline, but it also needed immense mental and physical tenacity. It assumed the form of a lovely old man with a gentleman's demeanor. He was dressed in a black coat and appeared to be an elderly yet muscular figure.

"This is Mr. August, he'll be your ears and eyes and also the butler along with me to keep you attended," Maggie says to Amelia.

"Really big sis ?"

"Whatever you wish, my Lady," August responded.

"Collect information. Maggie gave the command, "You should gather them from Lady Amelia's environs!" Amelia's tone became forceful as she commanded the spirit. "Big Sis, you're fantastic..." she said.

Maggie merely grinned and remarked, "I'm not done yet," to the startled Amelia. She took her to the garden, poured some water, and fashioned some clay models and said, "Awaken, Golems!"

When she knelt down and commanded It evolved into a swarm of gigantic men dressed in clothing who snatched sickles and ropes from the warehouse and dispersed them in all directions.

"They will undertake field work as well as hunt for wild boars and wild pigs." This addresses the food issue! Okay, Lady Amelia, let's keep eating!"

Maggie offered another spoonful. Amelia obediently opened her mouth this time, her eyes shining.

"Issh... delishhious..." Amelia exclaimed excitedly

"Excellent, excellent." Maggie gave a nod.

Maggie spoon-fed Amelia just enough food to avoid shocking her empty stomach, then caressed her head softly like she would Jean's. Amelia proceeded to take a deep breath and exhale it. Amelia's body was leaning against the back of the sofa, preventing the food from spilling backwards. Maggie was overjoyed when she saw the lady.

"Thank you, great goddess, for assisting me in assisting this child," she prayed to the goddess. Shew knew she wouldn't need anyone's support and wouldn't be afraid of the prince or the mistress.

Maggie, after all, had been training her body as a baroness every day in the countryside, over mountains and valleys, so she could endlessly chant high-level spells one after the other. She had nothing to be afraid of because she had all she needed to take care of the princess.

Looking as she grew Maggie told to herself, "I'll take care of her with all my life so that you won't live to have a dangerous life and die as how she died in her past life."
