Alexia POV
I practically dragged Karto off the porch. At the sidewalk I stopped and turned around, "How did you know about the apple?"
"Would you believe me?"
"Karto I know about the voice in your head. In fact I actually know what his full name is."
"Okay so you remember the past, but let's focus on what we came out here for. Please let's talk later okay?"
I glared at him, I know what he did to me. I have never been able to forget it. But his expression was very genuine and he looked like he was pained knowing what had happened.
"Fine," I scoffed, "You have convinced me for now, but this conversation is bound to happen."
My house was a few doors down and we still had a bit of a walk yet. Silence plagued the air. As walked with Karto I could sense he was pondering something that troubled him deeply. Good let it trouble him.
We came to my house and I paused at the stairs. I looked at Karto and asked, "Do you want to come inside?"
He nodded and gestured to the door. I knocked on the door and my foster mom opened it and said, "Why are you home so late?"
'Shit I forgot to tell them.' I gritted my teeth, "I was just hanging out with my friend Karto here."
My foster mom looked at Karto and said seductively, "What a looker..."
Karto looked at me questionably. I mouthed, 'Don't ask.'
"I think I'll wait outside..."Karto spoke nervously. But won't let him be alone with my foster mom.
"Oh no your not! You are going to help me." I growled grabbing his hood and yanked him in the house with my foster mom trailing behind.
"Have fun up there you two!"
"Mom stop!" I moaned, I felt my face get hot. I was blushing beet red. Of course she would say something like that. She has always said that I am going to be like her, a bitch... Hell no!
We reached my room and I slammed the door. Karto appeared to be uncomfortable standing in my partially empty room. I sat on my bed and looked at Karto. He looked at me then averted his gaze blushing. I began to do the same... f*ck.
