Karto's POV
Alexia was seated on her bed and for a split second I saw her in apparel that would have been some kind of medieval nightgown. She blushed at the same time. It was like we have been in the same position before...
"Hey Alexia," I asked, "Does this seem oddly familiar?"
Alexia blushed harder and denied, "N-no it's not f-familiar!"
I sat down and wrapped an arm around her. I knew for a fact she was lying through her teeth.
"If you say so, but I think you are lying. Now where is that apple?"
"It's on the shelf," Alexia said pointing to the shelf next to her closet. I stood up and glanced at the shelf. It had archery trophies and some pictures of Alexia and a man that I have never seen.
"Who's the guy in the photos with you?"
"My foster dad. We were almost inseparable, untill he-"
I turned to she Alexia in tears. She looked very upset. I turned back and grabbed the dusty apple. I walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder. She started to wipe away tears and get her senses back.
"Find it?" She asked in a shaky voice.
I nodded and we walked out of her room, down the stairs, and out the door back to my house.
Abril made beef stroganoff for supper and we all are in silence. My mind was stuck on the apple, which was shriveled and hard. How in God's name am I going to get that to work.
After I finished eating I sat at my desk in my room and examined it carefully. The apple was shiny with a slight red hue to it.
H spoke up and said, 'Get it's seed and plant it during a thunderstorm.'
If that is the way to get it then that is what I have for to do. The house was dark other than my room. My eyes adjusted to their night vision and walked to the kitchen to attempt cutting the apple open. I grabbed a parry knife and tried to cut it up only to dull and break the knife. Of course it would it's diamond and not a normal apple.
"Okay that's not going to work.." I sighed, but I caught the smell of blood, " Shit I sliced my hand."
I rinsed the cut with water and the cut stopped bleeding.
"I think I am going to try that tomorrow."
It was midnight and I have school. I walked to my room. My arms began to ache slightly it was like a burning sensation like a festering wounds. I laid down and managed to fall asleep with my arms leaving me uncomfortable.
