Karto's POV
A minute passed before Johnathan's wolf yielded and surrendered. I shifted back and stood above Johnathan who was red with rage. I held my hand out to him but rejected it and walked away fuming.
An Elder walked up next to me and called out, ''I now present to you the new Alpha of Timber Hills High!!"
The school body cheered I stood and looked at the crowd. It is nice to have some attention but this was a bit much. At first I had intended to let Johnathan have the position but then I would be the lowest person in school and he also acted like he was high and mighty and still called me a human after the fact that I was indeed a werewolf.
All the females eyes were on me like hungry vultures while the males envied me. It has now become a change in a direction I did not expect. With the event over we were all sent home for the weekend. I slumped onto the couch and sighed. Alexia began her usual routine in the afternoon which consisted of grabbing the mail for her week and the chores that followed.
"Hey Karto," she called out to me from the kitchen.
"Yeah!"
"Do you own a car?"
"No?.. Why do you ask?" I got up off the couch and walked to the kitchen.
"Look at this."
She handed me a two envelopes a small green one and a white one with the DMV logo on it.
"What the-" I opened the white one to find a registration for a car, "Okay let's see... Well it's in my name and it is registered to a 1984 Chevy Camero in red!"
I glanced at the green envelope and said, "That means this has the plate sticker."
I dropped the mail on the counter and walked out the west side door. If I remembered correctly we have a single car garage. I looked at the building and scanned it over. It was painted to match the house and the door which were two sturdy 50's styled doors. The windows were too dirty to be able to look through and on the door handles wrapped in a chain was a handcrafted padlock.
But it had no key and it looked as if it had multiple attempts to cut the lock.
"Where is the key ho-" I spoke and the lock opened to my touch. Alexia and looked each other in confusion. I took the lock and chain off the handles and opened the doors to reveal a Camero covered in decades of dust. I looked in aw. I took no time to grab my phone and snap a few pictures while looking it over.
Alexia's POV
I hate dust, but I was curious on what was all in here. I walked along the workbench that lined the wall and saw tools and there were old photos. Of which were very faded and couldn't even tell what they were of. Karto made a dust cloud as he opened a door and chimed, "Holy shit the interior is mint!"
I continued to scan the wall until I saw what looked to be a key hook with a unique key. Karto had popes the hood and shouted, "This is a 350!!"
I yanked the key off and said, "And this is the key."
Karto walked up to me and kissed me taking the key saying, "Thank you babe!"
I stood flustered, man I am going to have to punish him for that!! What should it be...
