Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

"Everyone!" I shouted. I motioned everyone to gather around the fire. Hayden following not too far behind, he gives me a go ahead. I started telling everyone, with the assist from him, about the entrance and the game. Everyone had different reactions. Candice and Ace having a look of shocking discovery. I looked over to Ash, the one still trying to process this, I scooted over to him. "Don't worry, even if we are playing this game, we all will get through this together," I couldn't hide my worries also. Ash's hands blankets over mines, my eyes met with his. He look straight into my eyes with a worrisome look of his own. I busted out chucking as I look away from him and back on my shoes. He's definitely trying. I glance over at Chase, who is just laying back, looking off. I didn't want to assume that he didn't hear about what I told them. I'm sure he's having troubles of his own.

I didn't want to leave anyone out - I took this chance to talk to him also. I moved up from where I was sitting and placed myself next to him.

"Are you doing okay?" I peered over to Chase's eyes. His attention now focusing on me. "I'm fine." he didn't waste any time to add anything, although the attack did run thought my head, I did my best to shake it off. This isn't going to work if he's being reserved about it. I nudged him a little, "C'mon you can say anything you know." His light irritation had gotten worse. "Fine!" His abruptness startling everyone. The talking and laughing has turn into quietness. "If someone didn't pry into my business, we would all be safe! I didn't want Bailey to be dead at all. I didn't want anyone to worry so much about this stupid game. Yet, here we are, now deciding what's going to happen next." He stood up and shouted at everyone before stomping off. The words have fell out of my mouth.

"Did you hit a nerve?" Ace shouted at me. I guess that's what I should have expected. Chase's words latched onto me as I sat in silence, the awkwardness grew. I calmed down and brushed it off. "Might did," I avoided tripping over my words. I also walked away to take a breather, leaving everyone behind to watch me walk off- except for one.

The sky gets darker and I look off into the sky. There was one person who is trailing behind me, trying to catch up. I slowly turned around to peek. It was Ash. As always.

I passed so I can wait for him to catch up and begun asking him. "Chase is going through a lot of trouble lately." I'm worried for him of course, I can't even bring myself to decide for myself. I paused for a bit, something of what he said earlier did sound off.

"Back there, he did say something about not wanting Bailey to be dead at all, what could he mean by that." Ash took a couple seconds to think it over.

"Yeah right, he also said that we would be safe if someone didn't pry into our business. Could it be that Bailey was the reason that he said that? I mean it would make sense if it did, I just need a second opinion."

I ponder about it for a minute. What if, Bailey must of found out something about him and took it to him. That could be the spot near the side of the big cave that we found Bailey at. That wouldn't explain why Chase was being so weird when I was with Finn the other day. Figuring all that out so far cleared most of the fog surrounding my brain.

"So to bring this all together, her cause of death was because she knew something she wasn't supposed to know about Chase. This already gave us a clear enough reason for Chase to kill her." Ash huffs out after summarizing. Sure, we both now know that it was Chase killed her. Like what Hayden said, the killer must of been a werewolf. It shocked me that he's a role of the werewolf.

"But what is it that she knew about him?" Ash pushing that to the side for a bit. It was abrupt, I didn't think about that. It would be useful to know more about it. I could suggest going to the places where he's been, or his "room". We should start there.

We both headed first to his room since we were still remembering all the places he's been at. I tried the door handle, it surprisingly was unlocked. We both glared at each other's approval before slowly peeking in. He wasn't there, which is somehow odd. I picked up some of the papers that have been flattened on the ground. Well, ever since we got here, we didn't really came with anything so this room was mostly empty. I wouldn't call it a room, compared to were we were before.

It was surprising also of how fast we all got used to being whew. It's only been a few days, this places isn't really scary to be in. Still, it would be best if we are still working on getting out of here.

"Theres barely anything noticeable around here" Ash also helps in looking around, having the same results as me. "Theres a few papers lying around here at least. It is funny how we didn't even came with anything like our phones, yet there still things to do, things to use around here." He lifted up some rocks that have been scraped together telling by the marks on it. He chucked after saying that, which also made me chuckle. Minutes to hours passed as we were switching through places.

"Now what, it's been a while and we still haven't found anything" Ash close to giving up. I chucked. He walks over to check up on over on me. I could feel him peering over my shoulder. I quickly to turn over to him- so give him a bit or a scare. "I can't believe that we are doing this right now. I mean this whole situation we just got into and we moved on from it?"

"We didn't moved on Ash. There just isn't any options for us to choose, or any way to get out of here. What I do believe that there is always more things to happen if we just play along with it." Thought ran through my head, how everyone would feel when we didn't return from the camp. "I did have a family after all, and the others too. They must be worried sick. That's what motivate to keep going, even though there's no promise that we would all be safe in the end." I added.

Ash tensed up before drooping his shoulders. He wraps his arms around me as sighed. "I do want to go back home and enjoy the comfort of my bed... I guess we could all get through this so we could have fun again." The conversation was interrupted by the low growling of his stomach. We both stuttered and laughed. "I could use some spicy rice cakes right now" He lightened up the conversation.

I rolled my eyes, smile still on my face as I turned back to shift over the stack of papers, uncringling some of them. "Come on, don't give up yet, we're not even finished yet." I gave him a little nudge. He stood there for a moment and grumbled. I giggled a bit as I pick up stacks of papers five at a time, shuffling though them. It was while until something caught my eye. It was a flat white paper, it looks recent. I flipped the letter and read.

[My role is the werewolf. What the fuck does that mean? Why does everything have to be so horrible. This isn't right. I slashed my dad's throat off after getting home from his whore's house since he was a fucking ass. It felt so relaxing. I can't stop myself from thinking about bad things happening to everyone. including my friends.]

I stopped reading there as my breath caught in my throat. I nudged Ash once again for him come over. He took the paper and took a minute to read it. His eyes widen in shock as he looked between the letter and my eyes.

"We found it, this is what Chase was hiding." a little excitement filled a bit of my body. I was still shocked of what was in the letter. I felt a lot of shame from reading that also. Still, this is something.
