(A/N: WARNING there are some gory descriptions within this chapter ;) )
"Let me in! Why has she been placed in the isolation cube! They said she would remain in the normal cells so why are you keeping her here!"
*slap*
"Shut up kid. She's down here for almost biting the doctors arm off so, don't come here complaining. Go back to your room before I call for your father"
'Who' s making all this noise. I'm tired... So tired. Let me sleep'
"Sleep..." she sighed in a croaky voice keeping her eyes seeled.
"Can I just go in for a second to see how she's doing... please. I just want to see her." the boy kept pleading to the man that had a deep, hollow voice.
"KID MOVE BEFORE I CALL FOR YOUR DAD" the voice boomed followed by something falling to floor with a yelp. Seconds later the boy stood back up and huffed glaring at the guard who remained unaffected by his presence.
"Fine" tapping sounds could be heard disappearing from Ebony's mind. She knew it was Charlie but didn't understand why he would concern himself with her considering he was the one that stiched her up in the first place.
'... nuisance'
Awakened by the sudden noises she opened her eyes slightly to find herself in a pitch black room. Looking around she saw no door, windows or vents that she could escape through.
"Great just my luck," she muttered, rolling onto her back while crossing her arms behind her head as a cushion against the concrete flooring. Noticing that she didn't wake up on a bed this time she sighed thinking that her life as an experiment here could only get worse.
'How many days have I been here? And where is here? Apart from the name of the place I don't know much, but if I take into consideration that everyone I've met so far is a nut-case I think it would be fair to assume I may be in an asylum where all the crazy patients have taken over... Who am I kidding? How could a bunch of loony tunes have access to all those military weapons? If this is related to what my parents were talking about that night then this facility was a couple of miles away from my home-'
Suddenly bright lights lit up from all walls, blinding Ebony who trapped her eyes shut in pain as the brightness burned holes in her retinas.
"what the hell is this?" her voice rasped as she jumped to her feet in defense.
"*crackle* haha your exactly right this is 'the hell' you have brought up yourself. Your hell and your new home. Ebony Snow, subject 261 you will serve your remaining life span stuck in this dark and dingy hole except when your tied down being tor- experimented with. I hope your stay here will be as enjoyable as it will be for me while I dessict you alive, from the inside out hahaha" ghosties crackling voice rang from all corners of the room.
Ebony swung her head from side to side, looking to see an exit but found none, she wondered how they even managed to get her into the cube like room. All she could see was concrete floor, concrete walls and a concrete ceiling.
"Ghostieee what happened, hmm? Did you get hurt from me attacking you and decided to lock me up in here so my little five year old self couldn't mawl you to death, hahaha. Don't worry I won't do that again... besides aren't we even after you drove a knife into the back of my skull?" she cooed trying to get a rise out of him.
" *crackle* Ha! Even?! Don't make me laugh you bit my arm, fracturing the bone inside whereas I merely put you to sleep. Don't stick us in the same boat you wild beast. I bet there isn't even a mark on your neck anymore, even with not eating or drinking for a whole week. It's incredible your still alive but how much longer can you last without your body having any sustenance, I wonder. Aha, not to worry I can just test it now can't I? " his maniacal thinking made ebony cringe as she clenched her knuckles in anger.
How could he think what she did was worse than what he did just because she can heal quicker? But he said she hadn't ate or drank for a week does that mean they had been watching her before she was taken or she had already spent a week in this facility?
"A week? Does that mean you had been watching me whilst I was still in the forest?"
"Yes, of course. We had to study your movements before hand as to make sure you weren't going to be a danger hazard like those other two mutts. But I have to say your reaction to not having your parents around was quite... pathetic." he sneered trying to get a reaction out of her composed self.
" Mutts? " she asked as her lowered head twitched and her fists vibrated against her thighs. Suppressing her growl she asked again," What. mutts?"
" Ohhh were you not told. Your parents were killed... By us! Not without casualties of course but that's to be expected of you pure bred mutts. Don't feel too bad for the ones who died they had already signed up knowing that their lives would be at stake. Most of them already had nothing to lose after losing their family to you supernatural creatures" he spat while smirking at her trembling through the computer screen. Satisfied he zoomed in on her to see if he could catch a glimpse of her face.
Ebony shut down after hearing that they had really killed her parents, despite her knowing already it still hurt to hear it out loud especially in such a vile tone. Allowing her wolf to run wild she let go of the pain that was throbbing tightly in her chest.
"*crackle* look up you little bitch I want to see your face now that you know we're the ones responsible for your parents death," he looked in on the screen seeing that tears were dripping down from her face onto the ground laughing he decided to torment her more,
"Aww are you crying? Does it hurt hearing how we murdered your beast parents? How they were torn apart limb from limb until there was only a pile of minced flesh and bones left. I was slightly disappointed though... it would have been nice to have a wolf head to study or maybe a few jars of their organs."
Ebony's wolf flipped as her head pulled back revealing a mouthful of sharpened teeth and expanded canines that hooped over her bottom jaw. Spit ran down her face as she growled in blood thirsty anger glaring at where the noise was coming from, next to where the camera was placed for viewing. The doctor realised that it wasn't tears running down her face but saliva as her wolf was slowly coming to the surface.
