Ch1.As the wind whistled...
As the wind blew...
As snow fell on the body of the individual, someone shook violently as she sobbed...
It was a female voice...
As she hugged herself, coated with the snow on her overall sweater, the snow hit on her as she sobbed.
She remembered that last day.
That last place.
That last time.
But she couldn't understand the reason.
As she shivered in the snow, despite being thoroughly covered in her jacket to provide her warmth, the cold was still too hard for her as she trembled.
She has been there for about four hours and her blood was getting cold.
Her hands were trembling, losing their feel...
Her teeth were chattering violently...
She had decided to kill herself while she was out in the snow.
So gently, she began unbuttoning her jacket and removing everything that could provide her with warmth.
As she tried to bend down to untie the shoelaces of her boots, she heard a faint voice from behind her...
"Temi!"
As she turned to look behind her, her sight was blurry, due to the tears that had gathered in her eyes, so she couldn't see who the person was.
But it was a male voice, she was certain that it was a male voice...
As she stared at the distance from where the voice was coming from and from the figure that was running towards her, waiting for the person to come into view, the lady fell to the snow, as though dead.
But when the figure that had called her appeared, he gasped.
"Oh no!" He silently exclaimed.
He hurriedly bent down to pick up the cold body from within the snow.
Gently caressing her for a second, he looked around for her coat.
When he had found it behind him, he quickly covered her with it, providing the body warmth.
Then he looked a bit hesitant at first, but later on, he made the decision.
Gently lowering his head onto her chest, he listened for her heartbeat, whilst holding his breath.
As he listened, he was able to make out her heartbeat.
It raced pretty fast as if she had run or something.
But, still relived, the guy sighed as he raised his head to look at her.
Brushing the hairs off of her face, he gently looked at her, but the young lady was unaware of the things going on around her...
"Temi...Temi...Temi...!" He silently called her name as he looked at her.
"Temi, the unusually crazy girl...!"
"Why would you do this?" He asked the unconscious lady in his arms as though she heard.
"Did you want to give me a heart attack?" He asked again, as though she listened.
After looking at her for some time, he sighed as he gently picked her up and walked back to the van.
The young lady in his arms was unaware that she was being carried as she was in her world...
In an unconscious state.
But for some reason, she didn't have any normal dream, as what she saw was her life being relayed to her...
As if being the answer to her burning question.
As she laid in his arms, she flinched a little.
Looking down at her with worry in his eyes, he quickly, but gently, lowered her down.
Looking at her as she struggled in her sleep.
Shushing her, he gently said;
"Shhhh, it's okay, it's okay...I'm here, I'm here, no need to be scared, I've got you, I've got your back...no need to be scared..."
Crying, the lady mumbled.
"Olivia, how could you...!"
"How could you Olivia...I trusted you!" Then she cried all the more as she unconsciously grabbed onto the guy's shirt in front of her.
Crying on his chest, she said;
"Don't let me go, Nate...!"
She cried.
"Don't let me go...I love you!" She said as she struggled to say that last part.
The guy called Nate that held the young lady in his arms stiffened.
Did he just hear correctly?
Smiling broadly, he hugged her gently, but his embrace was tight as he pulled her to himself.
"Shhhh, it's okay, Temi..." He said in a gentle voice as he calmed her down.
"It's okay...!" But he was cut short.
"You won't leave me, would you?" Temi asked as she continued sobbing.
Frowning, the guy named Nate looked down at her as he said;
"Leave you? Why would I leave you?" He first asked.
"I would never leave you until the Almighty calls us separately, I would never, leave you!"
"I would always be by your side in good or bad, sickness or health, war or peace...!" The guy quoted.
"I would never leave you!"
Then the lady sobbed all the more, hotter than before, but this time, these were tears of happiness, and Nate could feel it, therefore, he embraced her more, making her warm as she enjoyed the scent of the guy on whom she unconsciously rested on.
Then after some time, Nate couldn't hear her sobs again.
Looking down at her, he found out that she has gone back to sleep.
So carrying her up, he made his way for the van he had come with.
The lady in his arms, unconscious of her environment, dreamt, as she saw it all...
How it happened...
Who was responsible for it all...
For the death of her parents...
For the death of her brothers...
For the destruction of her family...
As she saw it all, she began to sob all over again...
