Chapter 19 - CHAPTER 18

"What! You have got to be joking," Trinity exclaimed as Tyrone entered the water.

"It's just for a few hours; it'll be fun," said the handsome young man, waist deep in water. Trinity had thought this was going to be a wonderful dinner with a sea view or lake view, but little did she know it will be a dinner party under the lake.

"How am I supposed to breathe underwater?" Trinity asked, still surprised.

"Trust me," Tyrone said, walking towards his mate while extending his right hand to her.

Taking a deep breath, Trinity took his hand and walked in. She was wearing a beautiful, pink lace dress and heels, which she now regretted. As the water reached her chest, she felt a bubble forming around her, and before she was totally submerged, she felt a kind of slime on her skin and clothes, and strangely, she could breath underwater.

They began swimming deeper into the fresh water as the fish's swam away from them. Some of the curious ones swam right up to them but went away when they got too near. There were different colors and sizes of fish and other marine animals.

Soon, they neared a house like structure, made of sand and coral. The door was like a huge slime wall, and as they entered, Trinity could walk on the floor as there was no water inside.

They both were greeted by Emeralda, who led them towards a room where the others were waiting for them. "Mom, Dad, they're here."

"Hey Ty, what's up?" A guy who looked just like Emeralda walked up to Tyrone and hugged him.

"Esmarald, man, it's nice to see you," Tyrone greeted him, than turning towards Trinity said, "This is Trinity, my mate, and Trinity, he's Esmarald, Emeralda's twin."

"Hi, nice to meet you," Trinity said, shaking his hand.

"Oh, the pleasures mine," the tall, pale skinned guy replied smiling.

"Hey, Tyrone. How are you? It's been so long," a tall masculine man approached them.

"And who's this lovely young lady?" came another question, from a young woman, who had green eyes, like Emeralda. The woman hugged Tyrone while the man shook his hand and patted his shoulder.

"She's Trinity, my...". "Trinity, that's a lovely name. I'm Marina, Tyrones aunt, and he's my husband, Seavillton," the woman chimed in before Tyrone could finish his sentence. "I want you to feel at home. And if there's anything you ever need, please feel free to ask me."

"Ok, ladies, who's hungry?" Esmarald asked as they made their way to the kitchen.

The dining table was set with an all-you-can-eat buffet. Fish, lobsters, prawns, oysters, and so much more lined neatly on a round table with six chairs, made of what looked like pearls and oyster shells.

"Oh, I hope you're not allergy to any seafood?" Marina asked, looking at Trinity.

"No, I'm not," Trinity replied, and a look of relief flashed in the woman's eyes.

Before they all sat on their chairs, they picked their plates and went round the table, filling it with food. Trinity saw some oval shaped food on a tray. "What's this?" she asked Tyrone, who was in front of her.

"That's fish eggs, made in a special sauce," she was told. "Try it; it's delicious.''

The black haired girl put some on her plate, a little reluctantly. She took her seat next to Tyrone as they all took their respective seats.

"So, Trinity, tell me more about yourself," Marina requested, looking at the brown eyed girl.

"What do you wanna know? You can ask me anything," she said, not knowing what to tell them.

"Well, everything! your family... your life.... ". "Aunt Marina, why don't we talk after eating? I'm sure your guest wants to enjoy her food first," Tyrone cut in, as he already knew his mate was uncomfortable talking about her life.

"Yes mom, we don't want to scare her off, do we?" Emeralda took her cousin's side.

"Besides, we have the whole time in the world to get to know her," Esmarald added.

Although the woman in a baby blue simple dress seemed disappointed, she agreed.

They had their food in silence with a few small talk being the only exception.

"I had such a wonderful time today; thanks," Trinity said as they both bid farewell to Tyrone's uncle and his family.

"The pleasures ours," Marina said, as she embraced her a bear hug. "I do hope to see you again soon."

"So... how was your night?" Stacey asked excitedly. Trinity had just returned from her date and now her friend was in her room, all excited. "I want to know everything."

"I'll tell you everything, but first I need to take a shower," Trinity said, smiling.

"You know, it's already ten pm."

"But I love bathing." Trinity grabbed her towel, just as Martha barged into the room. She didn't seem happy, as Trinity hadn't told her where she was going, and she definitely didn't mention Tyrone, as she knew Martha never liked him. It appeared that she had found out about it somehow.

"Where were you?" Martha asked very slowly.

"Martha, I....I... " "You were with Tyrone, weren't you? You went on a date, right?"

Trinity took in a deep breath, "Yes."

"Did he mark you?" this time, her voice turned into a low growl.

Trinity flinched. For the first time in all these years, she was afraid. Afraid of the woman who had been more than just her nanny; who was more of a mother to her than her real mom. She felt like she didn't know the woman in front of her. "Martha... what happened to you?" She asked, trying very hard to swallow the lump in her throat.

"Martha, why don't we talk tomorrow? After all, it's getting late," Stacey, seeing the tension, tried to lighten the mood, but to no avail. "Martha, you've known Trinity ever since she was a little girl; She wouldn't be stupid enough to let some dragon she just met mark her, right Trinity?"

Now both their eyes were on her, baring holes into her soul. She felt her knees get wobbly and she felt sick in her stomach. Why were they both staring at her like that? Did she do something wrong?

Her silence answered the question, that her voice couldn't say. Her heavy panting and eyes filled with fright gave her away, as she saw Stacey's eyes go from relaxed to opening wide and mouth falling open as she held her breath in shock.

"Tell me you didn't!" Both girls looked towards the older lady, who was still staring at the new dragon.

"What's the big deal anyways? It's not like he forced me to," Trinity finally confessed, although it didn't come out the way she wanted it to. She felt attracted to Tyrone the moment she saw him, though she never admitted it to herself, or anyone else.

"What have you done?"
