"We should have stayed a little longer," the short brunette said as soon as they reached the car.
"Susan, we don't know who was out there. What if it was someone else also looking for those dragons," Abigail pointed out, as Eric drove their car to the motel they were staying at.
"I'm just confused as to why they didn't reply when you called out to them," The young man said.
"Maybe they were scared," The tall blonde woman said.
"I just know that we need Mr king to fund our expedition so we can find prove that dragons exist, or existed. We'll go back tomorrow and try to find something. I just need both of you girls to work together, without fighting."

"This is a serious problem. We have to find out exactly what they want."
"But how? What if they're the knights?...."
"Or worse, what if they're here to kill us?"
All the dragons were talking at once. All were panicking.
"We should strike first!" came a suggestion; followed by "Yeah."
"SILENCE. Marcus will lead a small team to the Eastern pond, while a small group will be waiting in the shadows ready to attack in case they mean harm. Tyrone and his mate will go too, and if necessary, Trinity will do the talking. Understood?" the Dragon Lord boomed. All the members nodded in agreement.
The next day, they all planned out what they all would do at night. Marcus chose the dragons who would go with them, and all the ones who'd stay on standby. One rule that they made was no one would transform into their dragon form.
Group one, lead by Marcus, stopped by the pond while group two, lead by a fierce fire breather, Raynor, waited not far by, hidden safely in the bushes from which they could see and hear everything.
As the sun began setting, they all heard a car stopping in a distance and they all got ready.
"Hello, can we help you?" Marcus asked, as the trio came into sight.
"Oh... um.. hello," Eric stuttered, clearly taken by surprise.
"May I know who you are and your business here?" the tall thin man questioned the young man.
"Well, I'm Eric, and these are Susan and Abigail. We're archeologists." came the reply.
"And your business here?"
"Wait... who are you?"
"You are in no position to question me, young one," Marcus replied, annoyed.
"Young one? Why are you talking as though you're from the middle ages?" Eric's question made the girls laugh.
Seeing the situation tensing Trinity jumped in, "This is private property, and you can't come here without permission."
"I know that voice... you're the girl from yesterday, aren't you?"
"Look Eric, I understand you're working, but you cannot barge into someone else's property without permission," Trinity said, ignoring his question.
"And may I know the name of the beautiful young lady I'm talking to?" Eric said in a flirtatious way.
"That's non of your business. Besides, we're not here to introduce ourselves; we're here to warn you about trespassing into another person's property," Tyrone said, clearly not happy with the way this man was talking to his mate.
"Woah, easy there. I was just... " "Flirting with another woman," Abigail completed his sentence, hurt evident on her face, as she turned around to go back.
"Abby, wait..." "Oh, please, don't let me come into your way. After all, who am I right."
"What's wrong with her?" Eric whispered to himself, confused
"She's in love with you," Trinity replied. "And you two should follow her, and never return."
"Look, we're here because there's been a viral video of dragons flying in this area, and as archeologists, it's our job to look for evidence."
"What video?" Trinity, Tyrone and Marcus asked simultaneously.
"Wha... you don't know about the video? Where have you been living; under a rock?" Eric asked surprised, as he took out his phone. "Here, this video."
They saw a huge, black figure that looked like a dragon, flying above the trees and towards the castle. Tyrone almost dropped Eric's phone as he realized that the air around them was getting hot.
Trinity tried hard not to get angry, but seeing the same dragon who attacked and killed her father that night made her furious. What she'd give for that head to be served on a silver plate to her? A cool hand on her shoulder made her calm down, but not as much as she wanted.
Eric noticed the anger in her eyes and he could have sworn that the girl's eyes flicked an orange colour. Something was wrong. But what?. He looked at Susan to see if she had also noticed what he had, and her face told him she had.
Marcus also noticed the change in air and he mindlinked her, 'Miss Trinity, calm yourself. You'll give away our secret'.
'This is the same dragon that killed my father', she mindlinked back.
'And also the same dragon who killed Tyrones' mother, but he is controlling himself, isn't he?'
She stared at Marcus, than at Tyrone. She saw the anger and pain in his eyes as well. She now understood why she hadn't completely calmed down when Tyrone patted her; because he was also feeling the anger and grief as she was.
"I think you're right, we have to get going. Besides, we won't find anything in the dark," Eric said hurriedly, grabbing at his phone, which was pulled away by Tyrone. "That's my phone," the dark haired young man said, giving out his hand.
"I need this video," Tyrone said, pulling out his mobile. "Send it to me."
They showed the video to the dragon lord once they all returned. All the council members looked shocked and afraid. There was only one question in everyone's mind; Did the knights know where they all were?
"Do they have any other evidence of our existence?" the Dragon Lord asked.
"I don't think so," Marcus replied.
"We need this video off the internet." Saying that the dragon lord looked at Trinity. Following that, every other member stared at Trinity.
"What?" Trinity asked, looking around.
"Tell us how we can delete it," Marcus said.
"This is a viral video. It just can't be deleted," Trinity explained. "Even if we were to find the person who originally sent it and make him delete it, this video has been viewed and shared so many times. This can only be done by someone who is a cyber expert; which I'm not."
"Do you know anyone who is?" Someone asked.
"I...I...I...don't know."
"The knights are targeting our strongest dragons and killing them off one by one and now they fly over toward the castle. There are only a few dragons strong enough to fight. We're doomed!" an older man exclaimed.
Hearing that every dragon began talking at once, all expressing their concerns.
In the midst of the chaos, Trinity looked towards the Dragon Lord, expecting him the silence everyone, but instead she could see a little smirk on his face. It was strange because he always had a straight, stern face. She felt like there was something wrong. Did he know something they didn't, or did she imagine him smiling?
The smirk disappeared as the dragon lord looked towards Trinity and noticed her looking directly at him. "ENOUGH!!!"
Everyone's voice went silent, but their heartbeats could be heard beating like drums in a concert.
"Panicking won't help us. We should all be prepared, just in case. Marcus, make sure that the young dragons get enough training so that if we do get attacked, we'll be OK."
Marcus nodded at the order of his master and everyone was excused.
