The guards quickly ran inside and surrounded Avon. "Hey, go back to your own cell!" The guards shouted while pointing their swords towards him. Avon, much to their surprise, didn't put up any fight and quietly returned to his cell. As he was idly laying in his cell, he used his powers to scan the whole universe in that timeline, but he couldn't find Nancy anywhere. Running out of resorts, Avon tried using all his abilities to see the future. The guards reverted back to their old gossip before Soya interrupted her, but as one of them turned his gaze towards the cell, he saw a flash of light growing in intensity with each passing second, he alerted the other guard as they looked on with fear and anxiousness. They slowly walked over to his cell and started ringing the bars of his cell to get his attention. The suddenness of the sound distracted Avon's mind from its objective, as he was finding it difficult to concentrate amid the disturbance created by the guards.
"There is no point in sitting here like this. I'll have to keep moving, or else this desert will be my grave," Nancy said to herself as she slowly got up on her feet. Although she gathered the courage to get up on her feet, she was still at sea with her plan of saving herself. She was in the middle of a desert with sand wherever she looked. And after much trepidation, she came up with a brilliant idea, she closed her eyes and started going around in circles, and after a few laps before she felt herself getting dizzy, she opened her eyes, and whichever direction she faced, she started walking along that way. While she took off without giving it a thought, after walking for a fair bit of time and without much water, she dropped to her knees through tiredness and dehydration. She had a quarter of a bottle left and there was no end to the sea of sand. After contemplating for a while, she took out her bottle and took a sip, just so her throat felt that familiar wetness, and took off.
