After her show, Lisa came back to the green room. She picked up her phone and dialled Nancy's number. But it was showing that her call was unreachable. When even after repeatedly calling her Lisa got the same reply, she understood Nancy was no longer in that same timeline. Lisa was getting worried now, but there was no one she could share it with. While she was lost in her own thoughts, Avon walked in and declared, "You were magnificent! See! I always used to tell you what a talented dancer you are." Lisa quickly covered up her concern by putting a beautiful smile on her face.
"When is your solo coming? You are an internet sensation right now," Avon said with a bright smile on his face. Lisa didn't reply instantly, she thought it through for a while, then with a serious tone, she said, "I'm quitting this career." As he heard that, his face dropped. Avon quickly walked up to her and sat her down, "Why, what happened? Did anyone tell you something?" Avon asked with concern. Lisa didn't want to explain everything to him again, so she replied, "It's nothing like that. I'm just tired, that's all." While Avon was still staring at her with a look of disbelief on his face, "You're kidding, right?" Avon said, but lisa was in no mood to play games and cut straight to the point, "I'm serious. I don't want to lose you," she said.
Avon was unable to comprehend how things changed so drastically, he sat beside her, and calmed his own nerves before saying, "What are you talking about, Lisa? Has something happened to you? What about your fans?" Lisa took his hand in her hands as she calmly said, "I'm fine, Avon. And, as far as my fans are concerned, I cannot sacrifice my own happiness for theirs. After all, I'm a girl and I, too, have dreams. How long can I do this just for the sake of others' happiness?
"After a while, nothing will remain the same, and one day everybody will forget me. And the fans whom I inspire with my shows will also forget me one day. What would I be left with? When would I live my life?" Lisa poured her heart out in front of Avon. For some time, Avon stood there, lost for words, after listening to Lisa's heartfelt words. Because only Lisa knew how she had lost him to Nancy the first time. Now, she had a chance to be with him forever, and this time she didn't want to take any risks. "We have a lot of time, you shouldn't stop working," said Avon, trying to be rational. But Lisa was ready, like a hungry lioness waiting to pounce on its prey. As soon as he finished, she authoritatively said to him, "I don't want to hear anything! I've decided tomorrow we are going to California, to our home." Looking at Lisa's tone and behaviour, Avon didn't say anything else.
