Chapter 32 - I don't believe him

After talking to Soya through telepathy, Avon, again, dropped Soya's crown, just like before but this time, he didn't do anything. He stood there. Everyone else in the gathering was fuming with his disrespect towards the Princess, and the humiliation she had to face. The soldiers quickly closed in on him, pointing their swords at him. "Fine! I'll kill it. Whatever it is. But after that, you'll have to set me free forever," Avon said to her. Soya's face, which had turned red in anger, now had a smile on it, while the rest of the people in the court were talking among themselves. After some time, the Emperor gave his verdict. "Alright, young man, from today, you'll be starting your journey. And we are not such cruel people that we won't help you in any way. Whenever you are in desperate need of help, you can call our Commander-in-chief for help, but only once. After that, we won't provide you with any sort of help," said the Emperor.

"I don't believe him, what if he runs away or disappears somewhere?" Soya said, looking at the Emperor. Once again, as Soya planted the seeds of doubt, people inside the court started talking again. "I promise you, without killing him I won't run away anywhere," said Avon, citing his integrity. After a while, everything went quiet. "What do you want?" Avon asked Soya through telepathy.

"Father, I cannot trust this guy. I know someone who will always keep an eye on him and can also help him. She is also special like some of us. If you allow, I would like to send her with this guy, so that we can all be carefree," Soya said. Before anybody could say anything, Avon jumped in, "No, no, no, no, no, no, I don't want to risk someone else's life. I can do it by myself." This time, Agnes came forward and looked at the Emperor, after he nodded, Agnes continued, "You cannot decide that, prisoner. That's our job."

After that, the Emperor got up from his throne as the court went quiet, he addressed the situation and gave his verdict - in favour of Soya. As soon as Soya got the Emperor's permission, she ran a couple of steps and screamed at the top of her voice, "Ryu!!!" Just then, a girl dressed in a black suit, and her face covered with a black cloth walked out of the crowd. As she came into full view, Avon understood she was not a normal girl. When Avon looked behind him, he saw a Ninja girl with two swords and an array of weapons was charging towards him.
