"Do you think you can fool me?"
I yawned boredly.
"Maybe it doesn't work on donkeys." I said
Rain arched a brow.
"A chicken brat like you--"
"Do I look like a chicken breast?!" I cut his words. This donkey slash gorilla is getting on my nerves starting the day that we met and was introduced as siblings. For fuck sake, I want to get rid of him. I don't know where this irritation came from...but I guess because of his strictness that I'm not used to it. I'm fine with his tease-- but the strictness? Grr, I can't bare it!
"What?!" Rain hissed. "I didn't say that!"
"Well..." I moved my lips sideways--trying to get some words to defend his but I cope up with stupidity again. "Whatever!"
Rain scoffed sarcastically.
His name should have 'sarcastic' on it, cause everything he do, everything he says and on how he moves are full of sarcasm.
He brushed his hair up--probably trying ti calm himself or whatever do you called it...but I don't care if he's mad or whatever! I shod be the one who's mad in here.
You wanna know why?!
Cause this is the time that old grumpy dragon and I became friends...We have a good conversation and talking but he ruined it because he arrived and called me by Nana Mia...Ugh! I hate him.
"I'm the one who should be angry not the other way round!" He said, flaring.
"I'm not angry! I'm just saying!" I stomp my feet once.
"Saying doesn't include shouting idiot!"
"Then why are you doing that too, stupid!?"
"I'm older than you! Don't raise your voice on me!"
"I'm younger than you are! Don't raise your voice on me!"
Not just because he's older than me he will act like a boss. Mommy is the only boss I know, not this gorilla.
We stopped shouting at each other. We prolonged our eyes on each other with a heavy breath. I never knew he's too weak too when it comes to shouting.
Our eyes was crossed by a thunder.
I point at him a little by little with a glaring eyes.
"Idiot!" He said.
My head was occupied with madness. I should be the one who will say something at first but he interrupted it!
Do he want a one peso just for him to buy a common sense?
"Stupid!" I hissed.

We keep calling each other 'stupid' and 'idiot' without even taking a breath and a rest as if we have all the time to have some quarrel. But I guess, I'll have the most time with that one since I want him to be pissed and go away but it's turning sideways... I'm getting pissed by this donkey.
"Stupid brother!" I stomp my feet and crunched my nose.
"Idiotic brat!" He hissed and glared at me.
"Stup-"
"Idio-"
We're both about to say something when we're interrupted. Both of us shifted our eyes on the door and saw my butler, Noah.
"When you two will stop?"
Standing straight after he shut the door. Both of his hand are on his back--he looks so decent and clean. Well, he's always like that.
"What now Noah?!" Rain and I hissed.
"Woah, chill kids." Noah chuckled all of the sudden and put both of his hands on his front.
He smiled and put his hands on his pocket. "I''m just here to look for you two." Noah took a glance on each of us. "Did you eat?"
"No!"
"Why are you shouting?" He asked us. Noah looked at me, I pouted. He looked at Rain and raised a brow at him. "Do you want me to hit you, Rain?"
"What?!" My brother hissed, unbelievably. "Why me?!"
I smirked demonically on my head. After all this time, Noah is still on mine. He's my butler and a brother for a long long time. His loyalty couldn't be removed by this donkey.
"We can't hit a brat." Noah said and took a seat on the sofa beside my bed. He crossed his legs and placed both of his arm on the armchair and smiled. His teeth is white and clean, and I know that his breath is too fine. I wonder how many girls did he attract with that.
Noah looked like a royalty from sitting, as I said--he look so decent. When he moved he's too gentle...Well, Butler's skills, I guess.
"Yeah probably, you can't hit a brat." Rain agreed and walked towards the long couch and let himself fall comfortably.
"What?!" I hissed. This two is getting on my nerves now. I thought Noah is on my side but he's not! this traitor!
"Both of you shut your assess out from my room! You're irritating me!" I said. I marched towards my bed and hopped.
I took a glance on them. On how they took a place--they're already fine staying where they are.
"Not gonna happen, my brat. I'm staying." Noah said.
"It's my off. You can't escape anymore. I'll watch you 24/7." Rain added.
"No! Go out!" I slammed my pillow and harshly pulled my blanket.
"Shut up, Constancia." Rain wanted to shut me but the hell I care. I won't shut up unless they forfeit and go outside for me to have my mental peace.
"Why?" I said dramatically. "Do I need to be polite." I'm to desperate to send them out.
They just stared at me as if--they don't care about me talking a lot as long as they're fine on their places.
I cleared my throat.
"F*ckers, can you pretty freaking please go out from my room? I need mental peace." I pointed on the door.
"Brat, can you shut up?" Noah asked.
"Shut your mouth, I'm resting." Rain said. This donkey really thinks that this room was owned by him. The nerve.
I tried to force them to go out but all they do is to either shut their mouths or raised their brows.
I couldn't talk anymore longer to force them out. I can't even pull or drag them out since I'm too lazy to get up from the bed.
"Damn it!" I cursed.
I forfeited and lay down. I faced Noah and poke his cheeks.
"What?" Noah looked at me. Well, he's looking on the window.
"Don't you have phone?"
"I have."
"Why don't you use?"
Noah chuckled. "I'm not used to it. I'm used to take care and look for a brat like you so please rest."
I twitched my lips and went back to my place. I stared on the ceiling boredly.
I'm all dead silent...well almost dead. I don't have anything to do since they're here and I couldn't have a chance to go out.
I looked at the window where Noah's looking before. I'm stunt when my face was welcomed by Noah, I never thought that he's looking at my direction. I pouted. Noah chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"Do you want me to open the window?" He asked me and stood up despite of me not even answering.
But anyways, maybe it can ease my fuming boredom. I gave Noah a nod. "Yes, please."
Noah gave me a nod and went to the window. He opened it and went to the kitchen part of the hospital and seated on the hammock swing. The hammock was here a day ago, well, I like the swing after we went to the beach so I request one.
It was sunny that I can feel the heat of the sun inside. But despite of that, I still enjoys the view. Just pure sky blue skies with a little white clouds passing over and birds flying above trying to find a place to hide from the hot ray of sun.
"How's your work by the way?" I heard my brother opening a conversation.
"Here?" Noah replied.
I don't have anything to do...so, I eavesdrop while staring at the window.
"Nope, not in here and not on that brat."
I rolled my eyes hearing him calling me a brat.
But, I never heard that Noah is working... not on me. Does Noah have another brat? I wish he doesn't have.
"Oh..." Noah reacted. "Still the same."
Noah went back to his sit. I tapped his back without a reason.
"Why don't you quit? I know it's getting harder." Rain asked him. He's not sitting on my bed with cheetos on his hand.
Noah took a glance on me and shifted his eyes on Rain who's looking at the window too.
"I still need to protect someone and that includes your family, Rain." Noah is serious when he said that.
I reached for Noah's hair and messed it up gently.
"Are they really hard to take down?" Rain finally looked at Noah. He offered his cheetos. I'm about to reach it when he immideatly pulled away and smirk at me teasingly. He did that on purpose! I rolled my eyes on him and went back to Noah's hair.
"Yeah." Noah nodded and took a glimpse on me again. "Hard enough just like how hard for you to move on from that ex of yours who choose your be--"
"Fuck off." Rain cut Noah's words.
Noah chuckled.
I let go of Noah's hair and faced my brother with a teasing smile. He's looking on his phone now...but a second later, he put it down and look back at me, probably he noticed my stares.
He raised a brow.
I smirked.
"So, a donkey was hurt by a girl huh?" I acted like I give him sympathy.
His eyes became chinky with his face become stoic. Rain twitched his lips sarcastically.
"I'm not hurt."
"Oh really?" Noah chuckled. "RC, Rain cried when the girl left. He even called me to have a shot with him."
"Shut up!" Rain hissed, he's getting annoyed. "Yes I was hurt! Who wouldn't huh?!"
"Us." Both of us responded to him.
He scoffed sarcastically. "Of course! Noah is a fuck boy..."
"What? I'm not!"
"...and you Constancia, still don't have a boyfriend!"
"And what if I'll have? Do I need to get hurt?" I pursed my lips and lay on my belly.
"Of course, idiot! Relationship includes pain!" He rolled his eyes as if pointing at me how idiot I was. "But you won't have that pain shits. As if I'll let you have a boyfriend."
"Ow, a protective one huh?"
"I'm not! She have a lot of boys on her life. Us! Dad and her doctors and nurses. She doesn't need one."
Noah laughed as uf he's having fun. "Just say that you're missing her and you want to act like a brother because you lost if for years."
Rain rolled his eyes. "Whatever you say and whatever you believe is not on my mind. So fuck you, butler."
"Whatever you say." Noah chuckled. "Fuck you too, doctor."
"What do I need to say now? You're talking about me." I said to the both of them.
"Fuck you, brat." Both of them said. I frowned. They chuckled.
"Why am I even stuck with the both of you." I shook my head.
"You want cheetos?" Rain offered again.
"Nope." I respond. He shrugged and continue to eat.
I looked at Noah. I poke his arm.
"Hmm?"
"Chips." I said.
He grab something on his side when he look back at me, he showed me two chips--doritos and chippy.
"Can I have that doritos?" Rain asked.
We didn't give him attention. Noah's loyalty is still on mine.
"Hey, I'm talking!"
"Go pick, brat." Noah wiggled his eyebrows.
I took a seat and grab a doritos. Noah handed the chippy on Rain.
"I said, the doritos." Rain rolled his eyes. Honestly, he's way more brat than me.
"Go call your butler, Rain."
"He's not around! Besides, he already cut off his ties with me! That useless bitch!" He scoffed.
I hugged Noah on his neck. Both of us faced my brother and acted like we're crying sympathy for him.
Rain give us an annoying look.
"Someone's missing, Kamden." Noah teased.
"Someone's jealous." I teased.
"Both of you..."
"What?"
"Shut the fuck up."
Noah and I laughed. Both of us let go of each other. Noah then grab a drinks and showed me. He's making me choose again--yogurt drink or banana milk.
"Can I have the banana milk?" Rain asked again.
Why do he always interrupt?
I grab the banana milk not to tease and mock him but I do love banana milk. I received a hit on my arm.
I faced him. "Why do you hit me?"
"You're not giving anything to me!" Rain whined like a kid.
"Oh, am I supposed to?"
"Of course! I'm asking and I'm picking what I want too but you keep getting what I want."
"Of course! That's what I want!" I hissed. This brother of mine is jealous huh? Why don't he call his butler and both of them will do what Noah and I are doing. "And besides! Noah is not your butler for you to complain and to rule and to freaking command me to give you something cause in the first place...Noah is not asking you... He's asking me."
Rain glared at me.
I put the straw on the milk and sipped on it while exchanging looks with him.
The milk is almost over so I stopped drinking. I offered it to him. He looked at my hand and raised a brow at me.
"I'm giving you since Noah only bought one." I shrugged. "But if you don't like-"
He didn't even let me finish my words. Rain just snatched it and put the straw on his mouth. While he's sipping--he keeps glaring at me.
My eyebrows scrunched.
"Why the fuck are you staring at me? I won't take that back like you do!" I exclaimed.
Rain's lips twitched. "Thanks."
I rolled my eyes on him.
"Are you two done quarrelling?" Noah asked us.
"Yes."
"Good." Noah handed me the open bag of Doritos.
Rain kick me lightly.
I faced him with annoyed look.
"What do you want?" I'm getting irritated, I don't even know what the hell he wants and he keeps bothering me.
He pursed his lips and laid his eyes on the chips I'm holding. I know what he want but I don't care. I turned my back on him and eat.
"Stop it!" I exclaimed when he showered my back with his little impatient kicks.
"No."
"What do you want?"
"You're eating." Rain pointed on my snack after I faced him.
"I know that I'm eating, so what do you want?"
"Give me."
"No."
"Don't make me count." Rain glared at me as if I'll be afraid at him.
"I'll count with you."
"I'll call mom and tell her that you eat foods that's prohibited to you." Rain smirked. He thinks he's winning huh?
"I'll call dad and tell him that you kicked me." I smirked. "Sure, dad will tell mom and they will scold you since you hurt me."
"Who will be locked here forever huh?" He's not done, tsk.
"Who will be scolded huh?"
I was caught off guard when he snatched the bag of chips on my hand. He smirked and hop down from the bed.
Rain stick his tongue out happily. "Got you!"
I sulked.
"Once I cried, I'll call mom." I threatened.
"Do whatever you want." Rain smiled. "I'll even call mom for you."
With the feeling of betrayal of my own actions, I lay back on the bed and stared at the ceiling in agony.
I never really expected a kind like of thing like this. He's wicked--after I share my banana milk with him despite of being irritated... he will betray me by snatching my snack? He really showed me that having a brother is the most annoying thing that I'll have.
I keep staring at the ceiling without any particular object to stare when my eyes suddenly moved when I saw a lizard crawling above.
It's peacefully crawling until another lizard appeared and chase the first. I froze on my place after I saw one of the lizard lose it's control and fall from the ceiling.
The lizard landed on my forehead. My body trembled and without thinking straight, I screamed and rolled on the bed until I fall on the floor.
"Reina, what the fuck are you doing?"
"Lizard!!"
"Oh, a lizard fall from the ceiling." I heard Noah.
"Noah! Why don't you catch that fucking lizard?"
"I'm afraid too."
I hit my forehead and shake my body with tears streaming down my face.
Rain seated in front of me and held my shoulder to stop me from moving. I already stop but it was my body trembling so bad.
"There's no lizard anymore, just calm down."
"No! No, no, no..."
The feeling I had when I was 10 years old comes back again. I feared that feeling. I'm not breathless but I feel like I was buried alive.
I had goosebumps remembering what happened to me years ago. It was the time that I had a chance to go to school and see a lot of things that's new to my eyes when a bunch of my boy classmates throw bullies on me by gathering lizards on a big jar and throw everything on me.
This may be a small reason to get fear but for me it's not. It's a big thing to me especially I was traumatized that time.
I was staring into space when my brother hugged me. Rain held the back of my head and bring my face closer to his chest.
I cried while hearing his heartbeat. And for the first time, I felt how worried he was.
"What happened before?" I heard him ask. "Why does she feared lizards?"
"Reina was ten years old when she was discharged. She went to school and about a week of schooling, a bunch of boys bullied him. Throw a lot of lizards on her. She was traumatized with that and almost couldn't breath so she's back in here again."
"What happened to those boys?"
"Oh, the boys... They're sent out from school."
I took a tight grip on the edge of Rain's shirt. "R...rain, lizard... they're hurting me." I whispered.
Rain softly caressed my hair. "The lizards gone. No one will hurt you, I'm already here."
