Jani purposely stopped at the green trees. She seemed to be acting normal, even though she was already shivering with fear. It was already 11 o'clock, which meant that she was followed for almost half a day. Fortunately, it was Saturday, and Jani has been carrying out her activities all day long by trying to act normal. She went to the bookstore, ate at the food stall she used to come, and in the morning she even had time to go home to take a shower and clean the house.

Jani didn't think she would tell her father because her father had a heart disease. The night before, her father had told her not to go straight home after closing the shop early because he was planning to go to Bogor to visit Jani's cousin who had surgery due to an accident. Jani couldn't come because she had to solve the problem here. Of course she lied and said she had to come in suddenly because there was an urgent meeting.

Jani brought some clothes to be brought to stay at a friend's house. That's what Jani told her father, so that her father wouldn't worry if she couldn't return to her house again. Jani's mind was out of control, she was so afraid that the drug dealer was desperate and commit to kill her and her brother. She was frightened and felt alone.

Jani then entered the green trees, sat quietly while glancing slightly at the man in the black leather jacket who entered and then sat behind Jani. "Shit," Jani cursed them in mind. Even, Jani's cell phone has been tapped by them.

"Jani?" someone said. Jani raised her head.

"Dana," Jani smiled. Even in a tense moment like this just seeing Dana's smile could make Jani breathe a sigh of relief.

"What do you want to order? Let me order it for you," Dana offered with a friendly smile.

"I could have diabetes if he keeps smiling like this," Jani's mind was distracted for a moment.

"Hey?" Dana waved her hand in front of Jani's gaping face.

"Eh, yeah, um... a green tea latte, please," Jani answered quickly.

"Okay you wait here, I'll ask the waiter first," then Dana walked over to the bar table.

Jani is still scared. Jani wanted to talk to Dana. She thought maybe Dana could help her. Why not Rangga? Because only Dana is currently with her here, not Rangga.

Dana walked over to the table where Jani was, carrying a tray containing 2 drinks. "How do you know I ordered an iced one?" Jani asked Dana after receiving her order.

"I saw you ordered the iced one," replied Dana with a nice smile.

"Thank you so much," Jani blushed.

"You're welcome," Dana replied.

"Um… I want to say something, but don't look weird, just keep your face as normal as possible," said Jani, not caring about the devil, whose name he just knew.

"Okay, so what's that?" Dana answered with a slightly furrowed brow.

"I was stalked by the men in black leather jacket who sat behind me, my brother was held captive," Jani's hands began to tremble. "I fleed out of the place but it seems they don't want to let me go, my brother is still there, I have to call the police but I have no clue, because you now, I was stalked and my cell phone was tapped, that's why I am here," Jani explained in a whisper .

Dana seemed to be acting normal while glancing a little at the men who were 2 tables apart behind them. Dana was actually really shocked but she tried to calm down. So calm as if nothing had happened.

"What do they actually want?" Dana asked.

Jani drank her green tea latte in a hurry. "They are a drug dealers and my brother is in debt because my brother is an addict. Unfortunately, my brother is now being held hostage," Jani seemed to wet her lips before continuing her explanation. "I never knew my older brother had drug abuse for 6 months until he explained everything at their den," explained Jani, shaking slightly. "My brother is being held captive, because he knows where they are currently hiding. He trailed them after had done deal with them. He said they're gonna move this afternoon. Help me, Please," begged Jani.

Dana looked thoughtful. He looked straight into Jani's eyes. Dana didn't know why she had to involved with the girl in front of her. Even they haven't even known each other for long.

"I didn't dare to tell my Dad, moreover to call the police," Jani added. "They threatened me if I…" Jani swallowed her saliva remembering the bluff of the drug dealer boss she met this morning. "…My brother will not survive," Jani's eyes seemed to be filled with tears. Her feelings were jumbled.

"I'm gonna help you, it's just.. i think it's better if you come with me, stay with me in my apartment". Dana said firmly.

Jani rolled her eyes. "What do you mean, Dana? We live under the same roof?" Jani couldn't believe it. "It's not funny, it's better that you don't help me, than I have to live with you," said Jani a little emotional.

What did Dana say? Living together? Even Jani has never made out with a man before and will not want to before getting married. But Dana? Asking her casually to live with him. It's crazy.

"Hahahahaha I didn't mean it like that," Dana chuckled softly. "Did you think that after we parted they would let us both go? Just now, another man just came and join them, I'm sure they will keep an eye after me too," explained Dana.

Jani didn't think that far because she was too panicked. She looked at Dana regretfully. Jani involves Dana in her troubles.

"If you come with me, we can both take care of each other, right? We both don't know what's gonna happen then and when this problem solved," said Dana.

"Dana is right, ah, I'm too stupid and too confident tsk!" Jani looked at Dana with a furrowed brow. "Okay, I'll just go with you, then," Jani replied after reconsidering.

"Alright then, now come with me back to my apartment. You just leave your moped here, we'll use my car. Where's your ignition key lemme ask the waiters to take care of your ride, I'm gonna pay for our bills. After it's safe, my people will take your moped to the apartment," Dana said casually.

From now on, Jani had to get used to Dana. Jani would see Dana often or maybe every day. Jani hope it will not happen something unexpected, which can actually add to the list of life issues. However, who knows our way of life? Jani can only follow what has been written for her and try to get through it with all her might. Jani must be able to trust Dana. More than that, there are still many things that Jani wants to ask to Dana but she'll do it when things get better.

The most important thing for Jani now was that she could have Dana's protection. Someone Jani had even just met. Someone she herself didn't know was actually dangerous or not. Someone who unconsciously has entered Jani's subconscious as a protector. Who Offers help free of charge. Ah, Jani was thinking too much today to make her want to scream.
