Jani finally accompanied Dana to her house and told her everything that had happened to her father. Jani couldn't have kept the whole incident from her father for so long. She believes that one day it will be revealed too.
"Why don't you tell me?" Agung looks sad. How could his children just be silent and not tell him about the case that befell Arjuna.
"I'm sorry dad, I'm afraid that your heart disease will recur again," Jani explained with a regretful look.
"Arjuna is safe, sir. But, we have to wait for his sentences as the results of the trial," Dana added.
"I'm so sorry, I was too busy with work that I didn't know Arjuna was a drug addict," Agung felt so devastated. Jani's eyes could see that her father was trying to be strong. "Where did you live yesterday?" Agung asked while looking at Jani.
"Eh… that, actually I was staying at Dana's apartment. It was so complicated, they trailed behind me yesterday. I'm so affraid. And.. It's near to my office," Jani smiled stiffly. "But don't worry, dad, I've moved to new boarding house this morning," Jani added.
"Why do you have to be in a boarding house? problem solved, why don't you go home?" Agung slightly raised his voice.
Jani has been wanting a boarding house for a long time because it takes an hour to go home to her office, while Jani often leaves for work late.
"Dad, I'm sure you know, right, I have often told you too. More than that, My boarding house is near Dana's apartment, so i think it's safe, Dad," Jani smiled as sweetly as possible.
"Oh, you can trust me," Dana smiled sincerely. "I will take good care of Jani, Sir. If necessary, you can take a photo of my ID card if you doubt me," Dana was about to take her ID card out of his wallet, but Agung refused. Meanwhile, Jani gets more confused by Dana's attitude as if she wants to tell her father that they have a relationship.
Jani couldn't understand Dana, this man now seemed to be giving her a hope. Even though she had been desperately holding back so she wouldn't have too much hope for this man. Dana's charm is truly extraordinary for Jani. Every day she met Dana made her realize that she really on crush Dana.

Jani didn't know what to do now. After a night of analizing her heart, she began to believe that she was in love again. Jani is a little bit afraid of romantic relationships. The reason is still the same as before when there were many men who confessed their love but she refused it firmly. She hates betrayal.
Jani was thinking again that night. There was fear, the pain of a broken heart. She cursed at her stupidity. She even managed to get rid of his feelings for Rangga, the traitor. She never held a grudge against Rangga because she had created a sense of trauma that she would be disappointed that she had been betrayed. At first shew as a little nervous, even though she just imagined of meeting each other, after their separation. However, when she actually faced Rangga, Jani thought that it was like she didn't have any feelings. Empty. Just like old friends reunited.
Jani has never held a grudge even to those who have hurt her. It's just that the trauma of being disappointed so badly is still running through her brain. Even though it wasn't as bad as it used to be, until a male friend asked her to go for a walk, she was reluctant.
Unlike now, she was sitting while sipping her hot chocolate while waiting for someone who didn't realize that she had lived under the same roof for two weeks. After work, Dana asked her to meet him at a cafe near his office, even though this morning Jani was also brought to work even though she had refused. However, Dana persisted in wanting to take her, which in the end made him constantly teased by Rena.
Jani watched from the cafe window. People run around avoiding the drizzle. There are those who walk leisurely because they carry umbrellas. There is shelter in front of the shop across the street. And a moment later she smiled. Her eyes immediately lit up when she saw the guy she was waiting for made a little run into the cafe.
"You've been waiting long?" Dana asked matter-of-factly.
"Eumm no, just about 15 minutes, let's sit down," replied Jani a little nervous. Like a teenager in love, Jani was a little awkward talking to Dana. In fact, this is not the first time they have sat opposite each other. Every morning and evening they would eat face to face in Dana's apartment. They've even watched movies twice in the living room of Dana's apartment when Dana wasn't working in her office. Yes, it was only in the morning and evening when Jani met Dana and twice watched movies together. But Jani seems like a high school girl. Her face was blushed. Without Jani knowing, a smile curved on the lips of the man in front of her. Dana seemed to be passing through time where she also saw the same behavior in women. That afternoon was the first time Dana had asked Jani to meet. Well, the man is just missing his woman.
"How many brothers and sisters do you have?" Dana seemed to have forgotten this part even though Jani had said it. He was also curious about Jani's family of course. Because the woman never told about her family in detail. To be precise, they never had time to get to know each other. Usually just small talk everyday.
"I am two siblings, my father is a single parent after my mother passed away because of breast cancer," Jani answered carelessly.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Jan," Dana said sincerely.
"That's okay, after all I'm used to being independent and I'm also used to my situation. Ummm, maybe you thought I would take everything dramatically? like in a soap opera," Jani smiled amusedly.
"You mean?" Dana really didn't understand.
"Yes, I feel sad when I miss Mommy, it's just that I feel that Mommy is better in heaven so she doesn't have to suffer anymore. Besides, my mother passed away when I was two years old. I don't have much memory from my mother, because I was taken care of by a nanny, after I was six months old, as my father said," Jani said carelessly. "Oh and you? how many siblings you are?" Jani asked back.
They chatted until they didn't realize it was half past eight in the evening. They also got a dinner at the café so that they could immediately get a rest right after they get to the apartment, Dana suggested. From that conversation, Jani knew a little about Dana's family. Because Dana explained barely about his family, unlike Jani. The rest of their conversation was about other things like how to make good coffee according to Dana.
Back to the apartment with Dana, in the same car. Jani thought it would be so much fun. But Dana was busy driving silently. They went home in silence. Only once in a while Jani asked cheerfully to make the atmosphere less tense and ended with Dana who would answer briefly, only 'yes', 'no', 'oh' or 'hm'. Dana made Jani uncomfortable with her attitude. This Dana is very strange. Jani felt like she didn't say anything offensive or out of line but Dana now seemed to be ignoring it.
After Jani sensed that Dana was tired from working all day, she decided to stay quiet until she arrived at the apartment. She thanked him and walked into her room. At least little by little Jani knew a few things about Dana. At least she felt closer because their chat had been seasoned with questions about personal matters such as family, although not much but it was able to make Jani feel happy. Hah! It's just like that and it made she happy, what if they became a partner or, even better, Dana proposed to Jani to marry?
