After finishing the long mission to take The City we managed to take it at the beginning of the sixth day. Thanks to us, opening the gates from the inside and assassinating the main strategist. Everyone was hoping we could take a break in the City for a while. But no the situation is getting more concerning on the other battlefields.
Around the plains we scouted earlier on, there's a massive all out melee between the opposing factions. In the all out melee winning isn't about defeating your enemies. It's more about chipping of the enemies strength in each encounter. Basically a battle of attrition, the deciding factors are the quality of the troops, the positioning of the initial charge, and the moral of the troops.
Originally the enemy were winning in the plains thanks to their superior cavalry, However thanks to the pikes of the main infantry force, they managed to halt and even whittle down the enemies numbers.
In the dense forest to the west, numbers of small conflicts are ensuing. With either side having the preliminary advantage. However thanks to the information gathered by the scouting party our side had the strategic advantage later on. And thanks to our superior numbers we managed to push them back quite a bit.
However the situation on the small river to the east of the main battlefield is mostly a loss cause. Because the enemies cavalry units we couldn't cross or else we would be grind to dust. However the same can be said for the enemy. Because of how deep the river is compared what they originally expected, their horses couldn't cross without a bridge.
Both sides are stuck on stalemate for the past three days. Although currently we hold the advantage, the general wanted us to rush quickly to their aid , so we can end the war faster. If this story line is based on the game I played along time ago. Then this would be the most difficult part of the game.
I remembered that after they won the siege they rushed to the aid of their Lord. Only to find the corpses of the decimated armies following their Lord into battle. And they were all killed in battle against the enemy General, if they are to late to aid them. However I don't remember the time limit, because back then I just rushed the entire battle to a one day victory.
It's been six days since the start of the story, hope we're not to late. Because if we are to late then winning the war would be even more difficult.

Looks like the only way of reaching the enemies HQ before the timer runs out is by myself. Before setting of on my own I went to inform the commander of my units departure. Then I greeted the other commanders I fought with.
Then I ordered my entire unit to move out to the battlefield. After making my arrangements first hand. Then I told Xi an and the others about the situation and explain to them why I must reach there as fast as I can , before setting of alone to first reach the battlefield.
And a day after I arrived at the battlefield the others of my unit will follow suit.
I traveled on horse back day and night. Ridding as fast as I can to reach the enemy before the timer runs out.
On the next day I managed to arrive at the hill just South of the plains. With more time than what I originally expected.

I went to the left battlefield since it's about time we break this stalemate and advance upon the enemy main camp.
The leader of the left wing is general Huan. He is a commander specializes in defense and thus he is sent to this battlefield so that the enemy wouldn't be able to cross the river to flank us from behind.
However he is not experienced in offensive warfare. So he can only stop the enemy from crossing the river. With minimum casualties, however we need a decisive victory not a prolonged battle.
I went to general Huan's main camp. As I went there I was stopped three times already. They accused me of being a spy sent by the enemy, an assassin sent to kill the general, or simply looking down on me because I am a commander without an army.
Since my army will arrive later. I couldn't afford to be late. Since that is the case I left the army to Xi an .
When I reached the main HQ. I tried reasoning with general Huan that we must attack the enemy as soon as possible to win this. Even though he shared the same thought as I.
He couldn't afford to lose his troops to an reckless attack across the river. He had quite a few arguments and excuse to reject the plan. However in the end it was pointed to this.
First of He doesn't have any capable commander under him that could lead the attack.
Second he only has about 4000 troops at his disposal.
Third he couldn't receive reinforcements from the other battlefield.
Fourth for the attack plan we need at least 6000 troops to attack the enemy to succeed.
That's the reason he couldn't attack the enemy. However if my entire unit was here it would be able to make a difference. However they would only arrive here at best around 8 hours from now, but I need to get across before the 6 hour timer runs out.
I pondered to myself thinking.
"What should I do now ? "
" if we don't managed to cross the river and attack the enemy HQ before the time runs out then our chances of victory is even smaller."
"How are we supposed to get across without a significant loss on our side ? "
