The thin line of water cut the bee in half in an instant, Lux laughed.
"So you're sentient?!" Lux shouted.
The Queen gritted her teeth, her eyes stared coldly through a black ball.
"No talking? Fine, I know I can't kill you but I can take whatever goody you have on this soldier" Lux taunted
The Queen stayed silent, still as a mouse. She had now lost the only thing that could free her.
Lux frowned, he wanted to at least taste the power of the queen but she wouldn't even leave her throne room, he wondered what was behind that huge gate.
"Whatever, I'll just see what this soldier was carrying on him" Lux walked up to the split corpse.
He searched through the gore scene, then found a small pocket inside the black broken armor. He smirked, he dug his hand into it and pulled out a small broken fragment of a disc.
"What the hell is this?" Lux was extremely disappointed, then a blue window appeared in front of him.
[Hello player Lux! To start the quest [Disc, Master Of The Unreachable] please say proceed]
"That's a weird name, well whatever".
"Proceed," Lux answered.
Lux pulled his book out and read the new quest, hoping he was a high enough level.
[You have accepted the quest [Disc, Master Of The Unreachable]

Step Four: [Not unlocked, please complete step one first]
…
Lux frowned, if he were to complete this quest he would need some tracker or he would never find the three fragments.
"Well this doesn't really help with anything, although telekinesis is pretty powerful" Lux scratched his head.
After that, Lux decided to just leave. He walked back to wake up Aria and head back home.
"Wait!".
A desperate feminine voice rang through Lux's head. "Hm?".
"Please, I beg of you! I'll do anything!" The voice begged.
"I'm guessing that's you, queen?" Lux asked, surprised that she was willing to do that much for the disc
"Yes… it's me" She paused for a second and continued "I'll do anything, just please return the disc back to me".
"Why? What's so special about it?".
The queen bit her lip but began talking.
"You see, I used to be the Queen of this land. I grew in power until I became a force that threatened god, he then imprisoned me in this room. Please! I've been stuck here for over 100 centuries!" She begged.
"If your that powerful, then why would I ever free you, and what does that have to do with this broken disc" Lux pressured her to say more, he was curious about the history of God's Mercy.
"Well overall this time my power has decreased significantly and I've never sought any malicious desires, I just wanted to protect my people but he took them away too! He wiped their minds into nothing, giving me only two little puppets to control for amusement. That broken fragment can be put into a disc that has the power to open this gate that imprisons me" She answered.
"Hmm, he?" Lux asked.
"The monarch of play, the one ruler of this universe. He did this cruel thing to me and my brethren" The Queen's voice cracked, almost ready to cry.
"How can I trust that you aren't some evil witch that was imprisoned here for the greater good?" Lux was still skeptical about what she was saying.
"If you really don't trust me, then form a permanent contract with me. Then I can never lie to you or disobey you. Right now I have already formed a temporary contract with you that allows me to talk to you through telepathy" She said.
"But if I were to actually make a contract with you, how would I ever find those disc parts?" Lux asked.
"Hmmm, I think I do have possible locations of where to find them but since I've been here for so long, the outside world has changed a lot from what I remember. Yet, if I were to say where the other two fragments were, maybe in Comut Mountains and the Ancient Temple Of Frita
"Ok, gotcha so well then" Lux paused for a moment and then continued "Let's do it. I'll form a contract with you".
"Thank you, young origin," She said, it seemed truly genuine.
"Now just say these words "I want to form a permanent contract with the [Queen of Golden Hope]"".
"I want to form a permanent contract with the [Queen of Golden Hope]" Lux repeated.
"I wholesomely accept".
A window appeared in Lux's window.
[You have now entered a permanent contract with the [Queen Of Golden Hope]. You two are now bound by god, it will now be impossible for this contract to break until you die]
"Now please, find the last pieces of Las Rose and free me," The queen said.
"But first, have this".
Another window appeared in front of Lux.
[You have been given a Boss class weapon [Advanced Flintlock Short Rifle]. Stats are shown below]
Power: 720
Range: 500 Meters
Durability: 1200
[You have been given extraordinary class item [Bag of Ballot bullets] *10000 rounds]
[You have been given extraordinary class item [Bag of Ultra power] *100000 grams heavily condensed into one bag]
"Woah!" Lux was surprised the Queen had that much faith that he wouldn't betray her trust.
"With these items, you'll be able to traverse around without any worry. Please be wary and good luck, master" Her voice faded away slowly.
Lux just stood there in shock, it was happening so fast he couldn't wipe the expression on his face.
He wondered if forming a contract with a boss-level monster would still have the same effect as killing one in the survival guide so he checked.
Sadly, that wasn't the case. Although Lux had everything else except for his 5th rune. He summoned his new weapon; it was just like the description said, a short flintlock rifle. Lux was actually familiar with tons of guns because of his past with them.
The lock of the rifle was quite advanced, having a waterproof pin with two rain channels. The frizzen had a roller for faster ignition and the stock of the rifle had a small compartment that when opened revealed some tools for the rifle
The double set trigger helped to have light trigger pull and it functioned very smoothly. The rifle was also equipped with a leaf rear sight adjustable for two distances and a bright brass front sight. The barrel was shaped very differently from what Lux had ever seen, meaning it was even more advanced than what Lux knew about.
The rifling was quite special, having eight large and eight smaller grooves which created a unique look to the bore. Lux inspected the shape of the bullets, which complimented the barrel size and shape of the gun.
The center of gravity was very well balanced which meant that Lux could not only shoot one-handed but shoot one-handed comfortably just like modern pistols.
Lux wanted to test out the frizzen and flicked the lock. A fiery clack ignited within the gun but since there was no ammo or powder, it didn't actually fire.
Lux opened the small compartment on the stock and pulled out a reloading scale to measure the right amount of Ultra powder. He pulled out the bag and carefully put a small amount into the scale. From there, he inserted the scale into the barrel of the gun.
Lux looked at the barrel and found that it was already lubricated, so no lubricating was needed for shooting. Lux pulled out the bullet and inserted it into the barrel too. He adjusted the lock and found a shooting target to try it on, a pillar.
He set aim for the pillar from a large distance and fired.
Bang!
A heavy blast shook through Lux's arms, yet there was no recoil since he possessed inhumane strength. If he was still human he would have been pushed back from the sheer power of the blast. The pillar crumbled to bits, demonstrating the great power the flintlock had.
Smoke flew through the air freely.
"Holy! With this, I can now one-shot anything!" Lux shouted in excitement.
Lux put away his weapon and items, ready to set off to find the lost fragments of Las Rose.
