"No, don't call me m... mom, I could not teach you how to respect a woman." she stretched her trembling left hand in front of his face indicating him to shut up.
"No one except from this house can go into his room." Jung-Nan said to the guards who were standing there, lowering their heads in embarrassment.
After that Dong-Hoon took her to her room while Ji-Hoon was standing there looking at the younger one who was in misery. "You brought this upon yourself, Hani does not want to accept my proposal and you are going to become a father. Take some lessons from this incident and don't run away from your responsibilities. You have got everything you ever wanted, right now you are about to get something you never wanted and I hope you will not act like an immature ignorant person. If any of the family members got hurt because of you one more time, I will not stay patient anymore like I am being right now." Ji-Hoon's voice was stern and he went to his mother's room as well.
Tae-Hoon just plopped to the floor, crying his heart out. His mother slapped herself and then his brother said such bitter words to him, he felt like dying at the moment. Never in his life, he thought his action would lead him to this position he was in right now.
Maybe it was the strong impact that will lead to Tae-Hoon being responsible for things happening around him.
...
"I will be making the dinner today." Jung-Nan said entering into the kitchen taking the apron from Se-Young's hands.
"Why aunt, is this because of what your son said in the morning. You said it yourself that he was just that because of..." Jung-Nan cut off her words.
"No, it is not because of him, it is because of what Yoon-Hwa told me." Jung-Nan eyed her. Today she was looking very serious to Se-Young.
Se-Young swallowed, hard. "Aa-ha-ha-ha, she blabbers nonsense. I am all fine." she scratched the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"Oh, I did not know that not properly taking medicine even after getting an asthma attack means you would be completely fine." Jung-Nan's face was stern, gazing into Se-Young's eyes like she would snap at her at any moment.
Se-Young just dropped her head, fidgeting her fingers. "I am already upset because of Tae-Hoon and if you don't want a good scolding then you better go and take your medicine at this instant."
Se-Young gulped. "No, I will take them right now and that too in front of you as evidence." she rushed to bring her medications from her room.
...
Min-Hoon got to know about the incident and informed Beom-Jun's parents and now Beom-Jun was locked up as well on top of that his credit card was deactivated.
Now he would not be able to help Tae-Hoon to create any scene but the question was that does Tae-Hoon wanted to create a scene after what happened.
Again, that grim atmosphere was encasing the dining area, on the other hand, Dong-Hoon was just focused on the fact that he did not want to eat the dinner that Se-Young prepared.
He was again about to stand up and excuse himself but Jung-Nan stopped him. "What do you think you are doing right now?" her voice was stern. "Uhhhh, I, umm, just don't feel like..." he awkwardly tried to came up with some excuse.
"I made the food, just sit down and don't you dare think I will let this matter slide. Things are just not right or I would have whacked some sense into you." she just continued eating without giving looks to anyone.
One was hurt, one did not take her medicine, one was acting weird out of context and other than these the one locked upstairs was rebelling to the point she just wanted to run, dig a hole and hide herself into it but of course, she cannot run away from all this chaos since it is her house, her everything, that she had made and secured with love.
The maid who was in charge of Tae-Hoon's meal came to them and bowed.
"Sorry to disturb you but the youngest master has not eaten anything since afternoon." she said worriedly.
"Let him be, nothing will happen to him if he will not eat for a day. Go get back to do other works." Jung-Nan said, her voice did not waver and others were appalled, giving her looks of dismay while she just ate her food like she was an unbothered queen.
...
"We failed terribly while parenting him." Min-Hoon was sitting on the edge of the bed, feet on the floor and his elbows resting onto his thighs, head buried into his hands. Jung-Nan did not say anything, accepting the fact and just sat beside him and gave him a side hug.
"What can we do except blaming ourselves right now." she sighed, trying her best not to shed the already welled up tears.
...
It was two in the morning and Jung-Nan still was not able to sleep, thinking how Tae-Hoon had not eaten since the afternoon. She unwillingly pulled herself from the bed and moved out of the room towards the kitchen. Taking the Kimchi and rice, she fried them together mingling them perfectly.
Now she was standing outside Tae-Hoon's door, where two different guards from earlier were present for their night shift.
"Open the door." she said and in no time the door was wide open and she went in. Her heart crumbled and fell down into the pit of the abyss after having a glimpse of her youngest son curled into a ball with his pillow and duvet as soft sobbing sounds were coming from him barely, his head was stuffed into the pillow.
She took her hesitant steps towards him and was now standing beside his bed. "Tae... Tae-Hoon..." she said faintly but he heard her and jerked his head up in utter bewilderment.
