"I don't think it is the right time for your sick jokes." Tae-Hoon warned him and Beom-Jun lifted his hands in the air, surrendering. "Bro, I was just trying to lighten your mood." Tae-Hoon rolled his eyes in annoyance and said, "It would be better if you will stay quiet for a few minutes." Tae-Hoon was in no mood for silly talks right now.
Just then, Dong-Hoon and Min-Hoon entered the room. "It is the time for the ceremony. Let's go." Tae-Hoon sighed. 'This is it. I will be trapped forever now.' They escorted him out towards the big hall.
Dong-Hoon became his best man as they did not trust Beom-Jun with this task. All the guests were present including close relatives, high-status businessmen, close family friends and some of their staff.
Greeting many guests, they went through the aisle, Tae-Hoon was now standing on the altar, in front of the priest while Dong-Hoon carried a red embroidered pillow with rings placed onto it and walked along with the flower girl, the one and only Bo-Mi. She was throwing petals passing through the aisle and sometimes tucking her hair behind her ear so that she would look presentable. Dong-Hoon and some of the guests who saw her behavior chuckled at her cuteness. She was indeed one of a kind, a cheeky brat.
Bo-Mi and Dong-Hoon stood at the right side of the priest as everyone now anticipated the bride's entry.
…
Ha-Neul (Hani's brother) entered the bride's room. "The ceremony is about to begin, dad is waiting for you." he was huffing, indicating that he came running here.
Hani stretched her arms towards him, calling her brother for a hug. "You are getting cheesy again." he rolled his eyes and ran to her and hugged her tightly. "You better visit me every Sunday so I can make you do all my assignments." he was sniffing now in her embrace, if he was soft, then it was possible only because of his sister.
And finally, Hani smiled for the first time throughout this day. "Um-hm, I will definitely do that."
"Hani, here." her friend handed her a bouquet of stephanotis blossoms and red roses. Hani took them and thanked her.
Ha-Min was waiting for them outside the big hall, when he saw her, he could not stop his tears from flowing down. He went to her placing his hands onto her shoulders. Hani gave him a weak smile and shook her head while wiping his tears.
He stopped her hands and placed a kiss onto her forehead lovingly. "I never thought that this day will come this early." he sighed. "Just remember that we love you and we are proud of you." Hani nodded controlling her tears. This show of affection lasted for ten to fifteen minutes and it was now time for them to enter the wedding hall.
Hani holding her father's hand entered the grand hall, followed by her bridesmaid and lastly her brother hand in hand with their mother.
Everyone was looking at the simple yet beautiful lady dressed as a bride, more like an angel. Her dress was indeed simple, simpler than any of the brides out there but the crochet embroidery on the upper half of her dress and pure white color of the gown was complimenting her beautiful pale skin. The top transparent layer of the skirt of the gown made up of tulle had small flowers embroidered with crochet. Her hair tied into a bun and covered with a beautiful veil with the same embroidery of crochet on the tulle.
She was not wearing much makeup, more like she did not need any makeup. Everyone present there was complimenting her beauty and simplicity.
Now that she was crossing the aisle, looking at her future husband. She did not feel any fluttering. There was just worry, sadness and fear in her heart but still, she was smiling. Smiling, so that no one will know how wild her heart was beating now.
Although her husband-to-be was indeed the most handsome person present there in the venue. His sparkling grey suit with an artificial red rose tucked onto the left chest area, his previous perm now changed into silky soft hair. But the fluttering feelings of getting married were not blooming in her heart and so was the case with Tae-Hoon.
When they were almost near to the aisle Tae-Hoon move down from the stage. It was now time for Ha-Min to hand over his daughter to someone else. Someone who was nearly a stranger to them.
He left her hand and hugged her one last time, that hug was like forever and everyone present in the hall could see the care of a father he held for his dear daughter. He eventually let go of her after a good two minutes and handed her hand into Tae-Hoon's.
"I am trusting you with my precious." These seven mere words were enough for anyone to understand what he meant as he let go of her and Tae-Hoon escorted her to the stage and they stood in front of the priest. Tae-Hoon on the right and Hani on the left.
Bridesmaid also gracefully step onto the stage and Hani handed the bouquet back to her as she stood beside the priest on the left side and it was the start of the marriage ceremony.
As they both stood in front of the priest, he said, "All of you can be seated now." all the guests who were standing there during the bride's arrival sat down on their respective seats.
"And on behalf of Tae-Hoon and Hani, let me just express how much gratitude they have for all of you to be here as family and friends and as companions..."
'Yeah, totally have the purest gratitude.' Tae-Hoon internally scoffed.
"...and as you can imagine this an amazing day in their life and it means the world for them that you are here to celebrate with them..."
'Yes, indeed an amazing day to go away from someone who loves you to someone who barely knows you.' Hani gulped, swallowing down her voice so it could not be heard by one else.
