"Based on those vows that you guys have given to each other right now, I want to encourage you that these rings, as you wear them it serves as a reminder to each of you and whenever you will look down at your finger, it shall remind you the commitment, the dedication and the vows you just made to each other in front of all of us."
The ring, it will surely be a reminder of the vows and commitment, but it will never be the reminder of dedication as their vows were nothing but hollow words to each other and there was no dedication or love in their words, neither those words came from their bottoms of heart.
"Not only to you but it is also a reminder to everyone else, that you guys are committed to each other." Ji-Hoon felt like those words were specifically directed towards him and he scoffed and Bo-Gum widened his eyes, nudging him to stop acting like a brat.
"So, when they look upon you and they see each of your wedding rings they will sense the dedication and commitment you guys should hold for each other." both of their hands still entangled.
"...and now coming to the climax of your special day. It is my honor with the authority given to me and for the very first time, I pronounce you as husband and wife. Tae-Hoon, now you may kiss the bride." both of their eyes locked with each other and Hani's hands were sweating and were cold due to all the nervousness.
Sensing it Tae-Hoon decided to lift her left-hand and placed his lips right above the ring. It was not awkward from any angle as the guests went wild and loud cheering and clapping sounds vibrated throughout the hall.
Hani was grateful as he kissed her hand instead of lips and whispered a light thank you without giving any thought to it at which Tae-Hoon gave her a nod and then a light beautiful melody started to ring. Hani took her bouquet back from her friend and they move down the stage and through the aisle.
Bowing to the elders, both bride and groom made their way towards the photoshoot area.
"Donggieeee, I want cakeeeee." Bo-Mi wriggled her body feeling hungry as ever.
"Just a bit more than the whole cake would be yours." Dong-Hoon winked and she felt relieved hearing that.
Se-Young got busy directing the staff to serve the refreshments and dishes to the guests, while all the family members went to the photoshoot area as well.
Ji-Hoon was forced to go there and was trapped between Bo-Gum and Dong-Hoon.
There was a beautiful cake placed onto the table, three circular layers and decorated with blue, white and yellow flowers and small white beads, all made out of edible sugar paste. They held the knife together cutting the beautiful cake and feeding it to each other as the photographer took pictures of every perfect moment.
"aaaaaa." Bo-Mi ran to Tae-Hoon and opened her mouth as she was not able to hold her watering mouth anymore. He smiled and put a small piece of cake into her mouth and she hummed as the delicious taste hit her taste buds and wiggle her head in joy.
"Of course, Youngie makes the best desserts." Dong-Hoon blinked twice hearing something he never thought of. He gave a sharp eye to Bo-Mi as she avoided his gaze. 'Youngie... that woman cannot keep her hands to herself.' he thought rolling his eyes.
...
Both the bride and groom were seated on the sofa as everyone took pictures with them, Ha-Neul went to sit beside Tae-Hoon and the photographer took their picture. As soon as the picture was taken Ha-Neul's angel-like face turned sharp and he looked into Tae-Hoon's eyes.
"If I find out, you did anything to her and made her cry. Then it will be your last day on planet earth." his warning was childish like him but held great meaning in his heart. Tae-Hoon fluttered his lashes as first, it was the father and now the son warning him. Ha-Neul's eagle-like sharp eyes turned normal and he gave him a fake tight-lipped smile and stood up.
It was time for the family photo and Jung-Nan dragged Se-Young there as well and Dong-Hoon was glaring at her while she just wandered her eyes here and there, trying to avoid that piercing gaze of his.
Ji-Hoon, as expected, was forced to take pictures with everyone and he was not liking it and as soon as the picture was taken, he dashed out of there and went to the park outside the hotel. Luckily Hani's family did not know about anything so they did not take anything his actions into much consideration.
...
"You are such a cunning woman." Dong-Hoon said to Se-Young as she was typing something onto her mobile. She frowned her eyebrows and gave him an irritated look.
"Don't act innocent, first my mom and now the little Bo-Mi. I know you are the head pâtissier of the main branch of Shim Hotels but there is no need to prove this to a child." he scoffed.
She would have felt really sad if it was the first time but she just felt irritated. "Do you know that you are acting like a child right now?" Dong-Hoon widened his eyes in offence and scoffed feeling ridiculed.
"You... you... you are unbelievable." he did not have any words to say so he just took his leave rolling his eyes. Se-Young bit her lower lip in annoyance. "If it was not for aunt, I would have broken his head into two with my favorite spatula." she scrunched her nose and again turned her attention to the mobile as Yoon-Hwa told her about the change in staff which would be happening next month.
...
Ji-Hoon was sitting outside the hotel, in the garden, on a bench and he ran his fingers through his hair and exhaled deeply but slowly. It was not like his heart was sad or something. He was just purely annoyed. If it was not for his father's words, he might have beaten the shit out of Tae-Hoon on the day he got to know about all this.
