What in the world happened to me?
I kept questioning myself, still baffled by what happened to me. I suddenly felt hatred towards Finn after I saw Luna tearing up.
It still makes me wonder why would I empathize with her. But that's not all my eyes throbbed for a moment. It wasn't as painful as what I felt when we first met however it has the same feels as if something is about to come out of my body.
Luna said that she's a fairy, that I ridiculed at first, but after this strangeness that happened to me, the thought of the possibility of it being real doesn't leave my mind.
"Anzai! Hoy Anzai!"
I opened my eyes and turned my head to Finn whose sitting beside the couch where I'm lying on.
"I think you need to tell me something. Why would you cheat on your girlfriend in the first two days of school?"
He's at it again trying to irritate me. But It doesn't bother me so much for the doubt I have on him still lingers in my head.
I decided to trust him because no matter how annoying and suspicious he was he still help me greatly the moment he stepped into my eyes. But as soon I saw a girl I barely know crying because of him all of those vanished.
"Okay if you can't tell me about it. Let's just leave it at that."
He stood up and walked towards the bathroom.
I kept staring at the ceiling with my thoughts rampaging inside my head. As long as I find the answers to it those thoughts won't disappear.
Playing games might put me at ease but I'm not seeking that but for an answer.
My eyes strayed at the phone he left at the table. I grabbed it. It doesn't have a password so I fiddle with it.
Finn gets out of the bathroom. He looked at me like he was expecting that I'll throw him a question.
The tension in the room grew thicker, it's almost like choking me.
It can't be always like this. I need to say it.
"Who are you?" There's no point in making this long, it will only make it hard for me to confront him.
But the atmosphere becomes even heavier. Finn felt in silence, where I find it hard to deal with. If he answers something it might give me a hint of something but if he didn't it'll only create a rift in our relationship. Which will put me at a disadvantage because I barely knew anything about him.
"I'm a fairy from a faraway land you wouldn't believe will exist."
He said with a straight face.
"A faraway land huh. What could he mean by that?"
Another planet in or out of our universe? A parallel world where you can get reincarnated once you die? It might just be a hidden city like Biringan in Samar.
There are just so many things that will come to mind when told that.
Finn walked towards the couch where he sat down earlier.
"From the Kingdom of Hope, on the other side of the 'Gate'."
My eyes grew wider as I remember that 'Gate' comes out of Luna's mouth.
Gate is just an entrance for me until now. I never thought that it'll make a shiver run through my spine. What is it?
Finn laughed after seeing my expression. "Never thought you'll take this seriously!"
However, I can't just take it as a joke.
He stood up and tap my shoulder three times. He headed to his room however before he could grab the knob his phone beeped.
He entered his room after reading the message.
When he got out he was wearing a leather coat.
"I'm heading out, do you want me to buy something."
I looked at the table.
"Food."
He nodded and exited.
Soon as the sound of his footstep walking at the metal staircase disappear. I stood and get the remaining three bombs in my drawer.
It's already late but my night will just begin.
I opened an app to track down his location by his device number and email. Based on the map displayed on my phone. He's already a kilometer away!
What but he just get down a few seconds ago?
I kept my eyes on it and his location's increased in just a few seconds.
I run towards the door and make a loud sound as I run down the stairs.
It's already late can I still get a ride?
When I reached the place where the tricycles are parking, The last driver was about to head out so I called out o him. He's quite stubborn so I offered him one thousand and will give an addition if based on how fast he can get me there. The driver asked me the location and when he noticed that it wasn't too far he agreed.
The driver drives as fast as he can but we still need to slow down in some areas. The location where Finn wasn't far from my predicted place. I got down the tricycle and gave him one thousand and one pesos.
Walking in a dark alley, hiding and peeking at buildings just to conceal myself from him. The location describes on the dot gets near and near but Finn remained missing.
The place where he is, located is in a hotel building. A four-story building known to be a place where underage isn't allowed.
Don't tell me that jerk is just here to do that? I bother paying a thousand for this!?
I tried getting near the dot on my phone that indicates his position. I zoomed in and it pointed at a grassy vacant lot beside the hotel. I pave my way to the four to five feet tall grasses I did it like five times but still couldn't see his figure. I thought that he may have dropped his phone but that didn't show up even once.
"Where is he?" I mumbled.
I sat down at the side of the road breathing heavily. My hands filled with small cuts probably from the grass. I never thought it'll be this hard.
As I rest my weary body something shimmering caught my eyes. I never noticed earlier because I'm in a hurry, soon as I kept m eyes on the grasses something glowing was dropping like snow to the grass. I brush my hand to my head.
"Sand?"
After the golden sand appeared, I finally realized what I disregarded.
'I am a fairy."
I looked up. Then what awaits my eye almost gave me a heart attack.
Someone with emerald green, long silky straight hair, and a pair of wings floating in the air.
Something you'll never believe you'll see even once in your lifetime.
