Chapter 12 - A Much Needed Distraction (Pt. 1)

Ty'Maign was lost in thought as he made his way back to the house of orphans.

'Why would the Titans respond Ebijac. They know who I am, that is without a doubt, so then why would they want myself to sponsor myself. It is quite impossible since I am a mortal. What does it mean?'

"Ty'Maign!"

Ty'Maign stopped to see who had called his name. He spotted Beau'Trian waving to him from the other side of the street. Ty'Maign sighed and continued walking. But Beau'Trian crossed the street and started walking with him.

"Ty'Maign where are you going?"

"Back to the house of orphans."

Beau'Trian stopped and grabbed Ty'Maign by the arm to stop him as well. She does have a higher physical stat than him.

Ty'Maign turned his head to face her. Beau'Trian wore a pout.

"Come on, the day is still young! Let's have some fun."

Ty'Maign managed to pull his arm away from Beau'Trian. He shook his head.

"I need some time to myself. I have a lot to think about."

Beau'Trian pushed her finger forcefully against Ty'Maign's chest. She looked at him with angry eyes.

"And that is your problem. You spent too much time alone, and too much time thinking. Your head is going to explode. I am actually quite shocked that you are not one of Resa's. Live a little, we are still young!"

Ty'Maign scratched his head.

'She could be right. My mortal body is not suited to constantly ponder. It does need a boost of energy to work properly. Perhaps this could be beneficial.'

"Fine. What is it you consider 'fun.'"

Beau'Trian let put a giggle. She took Ty'Maign by the hand and started to drag him away.

Ty'Maign was surprised by the action, but followed. Trying his best to keep up with Beau'Trian, who again has a higher physical stat.

She led him through the streets, and through alleys. She let him through crowds, and past empty areas.

Eventually she stopped, and Ty'Maign stopped just before running into her.

Ty'Maign looked around. They had stopped at a theater. Ty'Maign raised an eyebrow.

"Come on, the show is starting soon. I have enough coins to buy as each entry. Come on."

The man at the counter took their coins and looked at them with a smile.

"Are you two having your first date?" The man at the counter asked innocently.

Ty'Maign was not phased, but Beau'Trian blushed and twirled her hair.

"We're siblings."

"My apologies. It's just that I cannot tell at a glance. Please enjoy the show."

They entered and sat themselves down just in time to enjoy the show.
