Ty'Maign returned to the house of orphans to find Irt'Vin still busying himself with his garden. Ty'Maign ignored him. He went right into the house of orphans.
To his surprise, Zan'Iza sat in the common area. He thought that he and Yhew'Rena would be out a lot longer.
Zan'Iza craned his neck.
"Back already, huh?"
Ty'Maign nodded.
"It seems the answers I seek are still a mystery."
Zan'Iza raised an eyebrow.
"Oh. And what answers did you wish to here?"
Ty'Maign sat himself adjacent to Zan'Iza. He shook his head.
"The Titans work in mysterious ways. They wish my sponsor to be Ebijac."
Zan'Iza contained an out burst of laughter. It would be rude to... He totally burst out laughing.
Ty'Maign glared at him.
"Yes, yes. Soak it all in. Some subject of Iranik you are! Now how come you have returned so early."
Zan'Iza stopped. He felt his heart drop. Could he lose points for this out burst? He shook the thought aside to answer Ty'Maign's question.
"Yhew'Rena twisted her ankle. Sava'Sun has taken her to the Dicitio ward."
Ty'Maign frowned. He has nothing against these mortals, and since arriving he has gotten some what attached to them. For better or worse.
"That is not good. But I am sure she should be fine. Now if you will excuse me, I have much more pondering to do. If the Titans won't help me, I will help myself."
Ty'Maign and started to walk towards the boys sleeping area. Zan'Iza got in his way and stopped him.
"If I may have some input. Think about why the Titans want you to sponsor yourself before being hasty. This isn't a battle where it is life or death, hou have all the time in the world."
Ty'Maign sighed. Perhaps Zan'Iza is right.
"Of course. There could be many reasons to why the Titans responded Ebijac. But this is impossible since..." Ty'Maign stopped himself before saying he himself is Ebijac. Zan'Iza would understand.
Zan'Iza grew a grin. Ty'Maign looked at him baffled.
"What?"
Zan'Iza placed one hand on Ebijac's shoulder.
"Perhaps the Titans don't want you to be sponsored? Have you considered this?"
Ty'Maign opened his mouth to speak, but closed it. How had he been that stupid!?
"No I have not. But now that you have mentioned it I may be able to elaborate on it. The Titans after all did not say that I 'should not take a sponsor.' Thus there must be another meaning. But what...."
Ty'Maign felt as though he had been struck by lightning. Of course!
Ty'Maign rushed past Zan'Iza who just starred at him with a questionable look. Ty'Maign entered the boys sleeping area.
Ty'Maign came out with a full bag slung over his shoulder. He wore his cloak as well.
"I must be off at once. I have much to do, not much time to do it!"
Zan'Iza looked at Ty'Maign as though he were insane. Although, Ty'Maign himself did not feel right in the head either.
"Firstly, what about not being hasty? And secondly, where are you going?"
Ty'Maign patted Zan'Iza on the shoulder and looked at him with a mischievous smile.
"I could tell you, but it would bring me tremendous pain."
Ty'Maign walked past Zan'Iza. But as on the day he arrived, Ty'Maign was caught in Iranik's binding. The chains of light shot out from Zan'Iza, who began to radiate with the same light, and wrapped themselves around Ty'Maign. Preventing him from moving.
"Now then, answer my questions Ty'Maign."
Ty'Maign had no choice but to oblige.
