"Now then, answer my questions Ty'Maign."
Ty'Maign felt the sweat ooze from his pores. He really does not want to say. The memory of mentioning his previous life filled his head. The pain mostly.
"Fine," Ty'Maign spat. "As you know the Gods are considered the heirs' of the Titans. While they don't have any domain over anything, they do take up their mentality. Worshipping what their predecessor did have domain over. However I as... Ebijac," Ty'Maign felt the pain come instantly, but did his best to ignore it, "never had any such mentality. I worshiped the Titans. But there is no Titan of Titans'. The Void is the closest thing, being their creator and once ruler before the Titans took to democracy and banished it from the world.
"I believe what the Titans ment when they wished for me to sponsor myself is more so to figure myself out. And I know just the place to start..."
Zan'Iza released Ty'Maign. Ty'Maign crumbled to the ground as pain filled his body. Zan'Iza could not help pay feel some pity.
"I still think you are being hasty. Firstly you are weak and would not be able to fend off a minor void-spawn, which you will more than likely encounter once you leave the city. Secondly the palace would sent men to hunt you, after all the emperor has been keeping a close eye on you. Thirdly You only have two hours out of the house before Sava'Sun kills you herself. And Fourthly you don't have any equipment or enough money to buy even the cheapest of equipment."
Ty'Maign got to his feet. He shoot Zan'Iza a grin which shocked Zan'Iza. Had he not listened to anything Zan'Iza had just said?
"I appreciate your concern. But you forget something. Men have been fighting void-spawn long before the CPS even existed. As for my financial problem I have a way to fix this. And if any one finds out they will be unable to do anything to stop me."
Zan'Iza raised an eyebrow. How is it that Ty'Maign is so certain with himself.
"I would much like to hear how you will achieve this, if you would be so obliged?"
"Have you heard of the technique 'Waratee?'"
Zan'Iza shook his head.
"It is an ancient technique, forgotten since the introduction of the CPS. It is not very effective against other mortals, but when used against void-spawn even a royal void-spawn is weak. The greatest part is that it requires hardly any points in order to use it. Luckily for me, I happen to of learnt this technique through my many years of observation. As for the humans well... um..."
Zan'Iza sighed.
"You don't know do you?"
Ty'Maign blushed and shook his head.
"Not yet, however if I defeat void-spawn I may be able to harvest their life force to improve my stats. It is how they used to do it before CPS."
Zan'Iza could not help but doubt Ty'Maign. Harvesting void-spawn essence is the least efficent way to earn points.
"You are still legally bound to the house of orphans. As soon as you are gone there will be hunters after you. Much stronger hunters. But if you would like to earn points by killing void-spawn, you are free to join me this weekend when I and a couple other buddies are going hunting for our training. We can see just how good your 'Waratee' is."
Ty'Maign opened his mouth to complain, but closed it. He nodded in agreement. Zan'Iza did have a point after all.
"Very well. I shall accompany you."
