Ty'Maign did not much enjoy the show. Despite everyone else being pleased. It talked about a hero of legend fighting the first void-spawn to roam the world. However the majority of its facts were wrong, and the ones that were right had been over exaggerate. The only good thing to come out it was that he had been distracted by his previous thoughts.
Beau'Trian looked over at Ty'Maign with a frown. He was not clapping, nor did he look happy. She playfully punched him on the should.
"Come on, that was a great performance."
Ty'Maign glared at Beau'Trian.
"The actors themselves were not all too bad, but their facts were completely off."
"Name one fact that was wrong! The script comes straight from the palace archives."
Ty'Maign sighed.
"First of all the hero never had a lover, that is a myth. He was actually asexual. Also, he did not slay the first void-spawn all alone, he had a small party with him. And as for him weakening the bond between the world and the Void, it was the titans who did that. I could go on if you like."
Beau'Trian shook her head and held her tongue. She did not need Ty'Maign to ruin her fun. Let alone his own.
"Well then, I think I will head back to the house of orphans."
Ty'Maign stood to leave, but Beau'Trian held him.
"Wait. Can I ask a favour first?"
Ty'Maign rolled his eyes.
"Fine. What is the favour."
Beau'Trian looked around each of her shoulders.
"Not here."
Ty'Maign raised an eyebrow, but did not speak. Instead he followed Beau'Trian out of the theater. She pulled him down an empty alley.
"What is the favour."
Beau'Trian's face filled with blush and she twirled her hair. Her gaze avoiding Ty'Maign, instead they look at his feet.
"I have not pleased Ustu lately and... I was hoping you could help me earn some points. I know that you oppose the CPS, but won't you don't for me."
Beau'Trian suddenly became confident. She set her ground firm and looked Ty'Maign directly in the eyes.
"In what way do you mean to earn points."
Beau'Trian pinned Ty'Maign to the wall, wrapping one of her legs around his.
"Whatever the evening brings."
Beau'Trian felt disappointed. Ty'Maign showed no sign of emotion, and no sign of letting in. Is she not beautiful enough?
Ty'Maign summoned some of his spirit to force his way out of Beau'Trian's lock. He stepped to the side and she fell against the wall. She let out an involuntary cuss.
'Oveli, Titaness of love. Why has they heir, Ustu, forgotten that lust is not love?'
"Apologize Beau'Trian, but I really must be going. I have a lot to ponder on. Oh, and a little advice. Find the person you love, marry them and the indulge in pleasures. It feels much more satisfying when it is with the person you truly love."
Ty'Maign turned and walked away. Leaving a screaming, and teary eyed Beau'Trian.
