"Geneva, stop running!" Leo yelled out, Aka Geneva's longtime friend and co-worker.
"Leave me alone leo, I already told you, I'm leaving and I'm never coming back!" Geneva asserted hoping he'd quit.
"Think about what you're doing, if you leave who knows who might take your place as the mayor of this city. We may hold an election where all the
candidates are scumbags, it's not very responsible to completely abandon the city like this!" Leo tried to reason with her.
"Leo, my term is over and I already informed the public of my intent to not run for office again. I suggest that you, like everyone else, accept it and move on." Geneva replied, "And who knows, maybe the next mayor won't be like what you're thinking." Geneva counter argued.
"At least tell me what you're going to do then." Said Leo with genuine concern and curiosity.
"I have no idea what's next for me, but I'll damned if do leave, I'll be damned if I don't, it's time for me to do what I want for once." Geneva replied with heart.
"Do you even know how to leave the city? Didn't you try it before and it didn't work out?" Leo asked.
"Stop trying to stop me, I'm going to stay with my mother a city over. This city is pretty bad and only getting worst, on top of that, I feel I'm not the best fit for this job anymore, I feel too young." Geneva confessed with no problem.
"Geneva it's not about age, it's about heart and genuine care!" Leo told her. "And I've never seen anyone who cared as much as you." Leo confessed as well.
"Visit me anytime, and call as often as possible" Geneva told him before she continued walking onto her future.
"Geneva, I just don't think they'll let..." Leo stammered and couldn't speak.
"Goodbye." Said Geneva with a soft voice as her fair well to her best friend.
This city was always too strange, any average person would just run out instantly. In this city anything and pretty much everything can happen. Neighboring cities never seem to have half as many crimes and strange occurrences as this medium size city has. Though I've never actually been out of the city.
Geneva Rosetti, a typical local politician, who then was elected as mayor at a very young age. Young and tenacious as can be but also a cautious soul.
Geneva began down the road, headed for the train station, as she turns around she saw a carriage with 4 horses rushing past her. A man wearing all black steps out from the carriage. It's clear these aren't normal horses as they all have really different looks to them. The first horse is electric blue and has strange purplish mist surrounding him, a rather strange aura. The second horse is the color of a ruby and shines but shines like diamond. The third horse glows with a green emerald color and the last horse is a death black and has some sort of ghostlike transparency about him. I suppose there could be some symbolic meaning behind them but even still, These horses are very recognizable to belong to none other than the President himself, but the presidents not here.
A man wearing all black from head to toe steps out of the carriage. The road is foggy and dim, it's 5 in the morning. The man turned to look at Geneva, it's that when he stepped out of the carriage he pretended not to notice Geneva watching him from the top of the hill as she looked down onto the road he was on. Why would he pretend not to see her if out of the blue he knew exactly where she would be watching him from? And from this distance and from behind the trees, was his sight and senses really that good?
Geneva turns around and begins walking back to the main road to get to the train station in a hurry as she tries to leave the city at the city borders. She hears a strange voice emerging from behind. How did he climb up here so fast? Why would he?
Geneva dropped to the ground and the closer the stranger got to her, Geneva couldn't hear anymore, All but the sound of a whistle. Geneva passes out.
