Chapter 9 - Fate.

The present.

After I met Aquaria, it has been one big adventure after the other. The thing is The lost city is not yet proved to be located in a specific area or place. So, we had to go from place to place hearing legends, folklores, and stories about it.

We are first starting in the continent of Africa. The original ancient name of Africa was Alkebulan, according to specialists who study the continent's history. This name means "mother of mankind" or "Garden of Eden" in English.

So I formulated what is only a theory as of now. We all know the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Garden of Eden was a paradise created by God for the two of them specifically. On the other hand in Greek mythology, the Island of Atlantis consisted of beings of half-god and half-human, Demi-Gods. So maybe the Garden of Eden and The Lost City of Atlantis may in fact be the very same thing.

Hence, we decided that Africa was as good as any other place to start searching for clues.

The first place we visited, as I already mentioned was the Sahara desert. To be precise, The Eye of the Sahara. Also called the Richat Structure. According to Plato, Atlantis had a main island and had three concentric circles containing water in the gap of each of the circles. There was one main transport area that was not confirmed whether it was a road or waterway. But that one way connected the main circle of Atlantis to the Atlantic ocean, hence serving the perfect transport way.

The thing that stood out was the three concentric circles, but according to Plato, Atlantis was as modern or as a matter of fact even more sophisticated than we were now. There were many scholars in The Lost City. So the structures there were estimated to be vast and unique. So even though there were the circles that were eroded there was no proof of any civilizations present there.

So after a week there Aquaria and I sat to discuss whether or not there was a possibility that the Richat Structure was the very same place that held one of the most advanced and controversial civilizations.

"You know while we are in Egypt, we might as well go and see The pyramids of Giza," I told Aquaria.

"Yes, sure! That is exactly what I am paying you for, to travel the world and visit places." She replied with a heavy tone of sarcasm.

"Woah! It is hot enough without your burns. You could have just said no." I replied.

"That is what I thought." she replied.
