The second week in Egypt.
Aquaria and I were still investigating the Eye of the Sahara but not under the context it might be Atlantis. We didn't give our undivided attention to it, just looked through some of the clues around the place to try and connect it to Atlantis, but alas, nothing. So, we ultimately decided to stay a week more and gather up some more information on the Lost City.
Shopping in the streets of Cairo, I found a very interesting detail about Aquaria, for being a very wealthy person she is a master of haggling.
"That was impressive" I noted.
"What? The bargaining thing? Oh, it was nothing." She replied.
"Nothing!? You brought the price from four hundred pounds to two hundred. That is half the original price." I replied.
"Oh well, you pick up a couple of things in Malaysia." She replied.
Here's the thing about Aquaria, although she is pretty rich now, she lives in New York while her parents are still alive and live in Chicago. She also has a sister who now lives in Paris. She graduated from high school in India. At that time, she lived in India with her grandmother and brother who now live in Canada. She passed out summa cum laude securing a scholarship from Havard with a full grant of admission for business studies.
We initially met at a frat party somewhere in California. My memory is a little foggy if you know what I mean. If I remember correctly it was the fall of 2018 where I got admission for my diploma in geology.
My friends and I did not have a class for another week, we went into town roaming around the city. We went out for lunch, joined a random group of tourists, and even tried getting into a pub, but sadly we had no luck.
Once we were done in the evening, I remembered being invited to a frat party that's going to take place in Orange County. That is the Beverly Hills of California, so of course, I was gonna go. Figured I would take everyone with me, so I asked them.
"Alan, Aryton you'll wanna go to this frat party in the OC?" I asked them.
"Who the hell are you?" Asked Aryton.
"What he said! How did you get invited to a frat party in Orange County? Did they make a mistake or something?" Added Alan.
"Oh shut up!" I replied giggling.
"I have a friend of mine from junior high and we were pretty close in school. So he asked me if I wanted to come and of course, I was all ready to go. The worst part is I now have to take the two of you, ugh." I replied with a little bit of sarcasm.
"Whatev..." Alan's sentence got cut.
Everything goes black. I cannot see a thing. What is happening? Then finally a ray of light was visible and I heard someone say,
"Quick, get Dr.Lee. His eyes are opening."
